Get more ads I am a streamer, I would like it if the streamers had more total ads. Not during stream but that they could pull from. I have "ran out" of ads. During my streams I keep getting "Commercial break in progress". I am not getting any ad revenue.

This is having a Negitive Effect the Streamer being Handed over too had 40 Raiders from another stream come across and out of the 40 Raiders only 1 person stayed, the rest quit because of the 7 back to back ads 3mins long in total5 votes -
"Dark Mode" for ads One might think a banner that only slightly shrinks the screen would seem a less intrusive way of delivering ads than full-screen ads, but I'm finding them more annoying. Their frequency combined with their commonly using a white background creates a huge contrast between the often-darker backgrounds of the stream. I.e., they're an eyesore.
I suggest advertisers be required to also provide a "dark mode" version of their banner. Let viewers toggle their preferred mode in account settings and additionally provide a checkbox to toggle the mode whenever a banner ad is displayed.

Its just to much I watch several streams, every night, for years. At first I had no problem with ads, but now every 15 minutes there is an ad. I dont enjoy watchings streams anymore. Sometimes I opened up 5 different Streams at the same time and every stream has an ad running. I just want to see what they are doing and have a good time. Most of the time I instant close twitch. Please. Give creators control over wether or not they want ads to play on their channels at all. Ads are a disadvantage for small streamers! Ads hinder growth so, so much and they barely make any profit for small creators/ for twitch when playing on small creators‘ channels. Maybe give affiliates the ability to turn off all ads completely in their streams, and only have mandatory ads for partners?

Although Twitch is geared up for gamers (this is obvious) it is an excellent social media site for lots of artists. It is unfortunate that this has not dawned on your management. Lighter pre-rolls for affiliates No small streamer should have to think about dealing with pre-rolls. It hinders growth and discoverability. It's likely that most small streamers are just starting to figure out how to retain an audience. So having to juggle between bringing new people and keeping those who were already there is an unnecessary job that only brings more anxiety.

Ad Refresh Rate When on mobile (and sometimes in browser), sometimes you click on a stream, watch the ad and then if you have to minimize the app for whatever reason, or swap between streams, there should be a "cooldown" on the ads for the channel. If I JUST watched the 30 second ad on a channel and accidentally hit the back button or closed the app, I have to re-watch that 30 second ad every time I join the stream again. Make Multiplayer Ads Easier To Run Basically, when an ad is ran I rarely get a multiplayer ad they are always the normal ads, if there could be an option to only run multiplayer ads it would be way more efficient and keep the viewers from clicking off an ad break! For example ads are ran by /commercial then the number of seconds, for multiplayer ads they could be /multiplayercommercial then the number of seconds. For the content creators that use the buttons on the dashboard just add a simple button for the multiplayer ads.

Buffer Stream during ad It's extremely annoying missing content with all the ads. Can you imagine watching TV shows where you miss content during commercial breaks? Yeah, didn't think so.
There should be an Opt-In option for users to Buffer the Stream when mid-roll ads are playing, then after the ad is done the buffered stream is played back at 1.5x speed until you're caught up with the live stream.
This wouldn't need to be enabled for the pre-rolls, just the ads after the stream is playing so you don't miss content.
How is this not a thing?

Have ads be opt in only. I do not like pre roll ads. It is annoying to me as a viewer and a streamer. If you insist on having ads, allow an opt in setting. While opting out disables ads permanently.

Please fix or ban Dangerous Advertisements Many advertisements have an extremely dangerous level of flashing lights, and all of them pop up without warning and they can and do trigger epileptic seizures as a result even in perfectly safe streams.
This is an extreme concern for many people, including myself.
There is a specific advertisement that has so much flashing it can trigger a seizure even for someone using medication because of it being so hazardous, that ad promotes audible.
I tried reporting it to them for how dangerous it is but they do not accept feedback of a complaint category.I would like to request…

Ads for channel points Tie watching adds into the channel points people get to spend on channel rewards.
Allow them to watch x amount of adds whenever they want and give a bonus reward to whoever's channel they are watching.
This will help you with your ad issues.

Make Ad watching a survival style mini-game, based around the viewer choosing to interact with an ad. Had this idea, didn't really know where else to post it. Just trying to get it out there.
So I know Twitch has been struggling to come up with a way to monetize with ads, and with the whole "forced mid-roll" fiasco, I think everyone is worried that whatever they do will be very "un-Twitch" by trying to emulate live TV. So my idea was to just gamify it.
Twitch recently added the little icon dudes that everyone can choose as their logo, and I thought that could be like your Twitch persona, and you basically just turn ad watching…

Bits for first ad of every new stream you visit Its simple, 1-5 bits, for every ad I get for the new stream I watch, because that incentivizes people going through new channels, in their favorite games and finding new channels to watch. Shakes up the viewers, helps them find more people, AND helps them see their support in bits stack to give to the better streamer at the end of that hunt or they go back and give it to their favorite channel.
