1. Banner Ads are your Best Solution to a more Friendly Streaming Service

Banner Ads is mostly a harmless and more respectful way to promote sponsors and products without rudely interrupting the viewing experience. Do try a way to have partnered companies/sponsors create or fit into somewhat Animated Banner ads that won't block the stream. This way, people can be curious,, always look, click the add, or not at all. giving choice is very good for the community. Regardless of the choice, they can just simply watch the streamer that they investing their time and money to without fear of random ads infuriatingly popping up. Cable TV ads are more effective due to the what is being watched, and will resume right after them without an issue. But steams are not the same thing. People will miss something important because of these intrusive ads. Focusing on Banner Ads will perhaps be the best answer to much less strain on the Viewer's time and fun. While the Streamer can still earn the money from the Banner ads as they will show up and be more seen than people who will mostly just leave the stream to avoid it.

2. preroll ads abuse

are you all actually aware that preroll ads can easy be abused to generate ad watches all day long?

since there is no option for reporting bugs in the contact support formular, i've to write that here

i also already reported the issue that makes this abuse possible in multiple ways but it gets only worse:
if you get an preroll ad, let the ad run, then press pause and play in the twitch player or refresh the page to get rid of the stream delay caused by that preroll ad, and you will just get another preroll add

so now, setup an autoclicker via browser extension or 3rd party tool that presses F5 every 35sec or something like that, open a channel where you get an preroll ad, start your autoclicker, go to work or do whatever else and let the autoclicker run preroll ads all day long

6. Remove ads from the following page on mobile

The way Twitch/Amazon as a company is handling ads is poor at best. Not only are there irrelevant ads being shown on the following page on mobile, there are even banner ads for coinbase, crypto trading that has nothing to do with the spirit of Twitch, gaming. Either stick with gaming related ads, or remove those banner ads altogether. Failing that, make it a Prime Gaming perk to not have those annoying banner ads on the following page.

7. Please remove the Verizon Trumpet AD it's way too loud and causes me physical pain(i suffer from migraines from such abrasive noise.)

There is a Verizon trumpet Christmas ad I'm sure they paid very handsomely for. I also know the CALM act only applies to broadcast TV and not your online ads. However this ad is ridiculous and plays constantly. It's literally loud trumpet noises in your ear for 30 seconds and has given me painful migraines. Most of your users wear headphones and get blasted twice an hour with that ****. Come on guys.

Take the ads off that block the stream at the bottom. It's disruptive and ruins the experience for people who just want to watch casually.

10. Crypto and Alkaline water ads? Two ways to ruin yourself.

Crypto and Alkaline water ads is all I see now. This sort of advertising is some weird and unscientific jank that should at very least be removed before y'all have to defend these choices.

Remove ADs on Twitch Prime subscribers. This was already part of the subscription deal and revoking that and demanding a second subscription is ludicrous, completely turned off of this platform now and will be going to YouTube where guess what? I can pay one subscription and get no ADs.

16. annoying bug of audio delay due to advertisements

fix the annoying bug that when a commercial starts the audio is delayed a lot and when the commercial ends the audio stream is delayed by about 1 minute depending on the number of commercials, which forces you to pause the stream and play it again.

If zero of the streamers you follow, and zero of the content you consume are Spanish speaking, then disable Spanish adds for that account. I have never watched anything but English speaking streamers, yet half or more of my ads are in Spanish. Just a waste of money for the advertisers.

20. RE Scheduling Ads

I do understand that Twitch needs the ads that run during the streams for revenue but I find the unpredictable timing of the ads to be very problematic.

I very much wish that I could schedule the ads to run at a regular time. My preference would be at a predetermined number of minutes before the bottom of the hour. If I knew that they were coming every hour at that time then I could plan accordingly. (I so dislike the pre-roll ads as I think they quite often discourage potential viewers from watching my stream and will do whatever I can to avoid the pre-rolls i.e. running regularly scheduled ads.)
