3. Turbo Popup Bug

   I have been having an issue where Twitch thinks I am running an adblocker when I am not. Every couple of minutes I get a popup where it says "Running adblock? Consider twitch turbo" or something like that, I can't remember the exact phrasing. It is really frustrating as I do not have any adblock software installed and have to sit through ads just like everyone else. I am not sure how this could be resolved but just thought I would put this out there. Unsure if others have had this problem! I wanted to contact support about it but there isn't really a category that fits my issue. I think it could be related to VPN software, but that does not block ads for me at all.

4. As a viewer, let us watch live shorts WITH audio while having a stream overlayed

   Like if you are watching someone's stream and then an ad comes up and you go to the live section to keep watching the same live with the full stream overlayed, it will be without audio. When you turn the audio on the live section on, it pauses the overlayed video. Let us watch the live shorts with audio while STILL watching the ads in the overlayed video so we can still support the streamer.

6. Ads are not showing up cross region

   If i am streaming, and viewers are from a different region, i get no Ad revenue, even if they are not subscribed.
   In the same way if I am watching a stream in a different region, i get no ads eventhough i am not subscribed and not using turbo.

   It seems to me like the ad generating algorithm needs to be reviewed so it posts ads for everyone regardless of their region, and then taylors those ads to the region

7. commercial break in progress

   I'm unable to watch one of my streamers every time there are drops (and sometimes outside of drops as well) due to "Commercial break in progress" showing for 3 minutes every 10 minutes. And every time it stops, the audio is high for half a second before going back to normal, just like a jumpscare.

   During drops its common for the streamers to increase ads, understandably. And I don't mind watching ads cause I like to see how they are edited.

   But please, implement an if-check so that if there are no more ads, then don't show the "Commercial break in progress", which I'm guessing is just the placeholder for when there are no more ads left to show at that time. The pattern is watch for 10 minutes, get 3 min of silent screen with "Commercial break in progress", get jumpscare, repeat.

   This only causes people to click off, less views for streamer and no ad revenue for streamer or Twitch at that moment.

   TL;DR:
   Implement an if function for ads. If there pool of ads is empty for the viewer, then do not show "Commercial break in progress"!

9. The ads are overwhelming, i can deal with one minute ads every hour but three minutes every every 30 minutes is ******* insane. Unwatchable

   1 minute every ******* hour, or every thirty minutes at least. Holy *, its overwhelming, how am i supposed to enjoy a stream when i feel like im missing 3 minutes of important content every **** 30 minutes. Its insane, its ******* insane.     Make Ads for 1 min 30 be 70/30 & give 80/10 to 2 minutes of ads an hour 90/30 for 3 mins am hour.

11. Make it difficult to use botviewer to reduce ad revenue

    I have been a moderator of some channels and I have always noticed a number of bot accounts during many specific ones, and during a questioning I understood that the cell phones of some selected channels had an average of 100 viewers and in some cases there are 2 people chatting in the chat all the time.

    Even checking FrontPage or those who are on Lurk and many accounts do not follow the channel, have never sent messages but are always there in the chat.

    Use the 'Twich Enhancer' extension to check how many accounts are connected and there are a huge number of streamers going through this situation above, I wonder if they are increasing their ad revenue?

    If so, I have a suggestion:

    It would be possible to only verify accounts with phone numbers and 2FA to count the AD for the content creator. And every 3 messes all the accounts without interaction with chat, and that live on Lurk and logged into any application need to be verified again.

    Ads will be available to everyone, but bots used by systems and groups will become useless, and they will have to invest in a very high number of selected numbers to continue with this poor service.

    If there are ways to break the botviewer system to increase AD revenue, we will see a huge reduction in bots on live streams that take advantage of this and take away the opportunity for smaller channels to be seen.

12. Twitch Turbo ad on the bottom makes stream UI unusable

    I am okay with the current ad system on twitch, but these new Twitch Turbo ads that pop up on the bottom of the screen are not very well thought out at all. They shrink the entire size of the stream to make room and leave a giant black border around the stream i'm trying to watch, and then it makes the bottom part of the screen actually completely broken and unusable. I can't interact with the pause button, video slider, volume, settings, etc. they just dance around in and out of existence because the ad is messing with the dimensions of it or something? And theres no little gray x or anything on the corner to let me manually dismiss the ad when it appears. I have to just forfeit control of the stream for however long the box is there.

13. Fix the VOD bug where it resets your progress when an ad instantly plays.

    People have been complaining on these forums about this for over 5 years now, please fix it.

    If you watched some of a stream the night before and want to continue watching the day after an ad instantly plays and you lose your timestamp. This is a major issue for long form content that can span 5-10 hours easily.

    Please twitch fix your DMCA copyright system it keeps False Positives non stop even when I use your royal free music it keeps false positive even it's flagged my own music that I created with Florida studios platform which is my own music that I have created and I am not steal someone else music plus I have put my music under copyright protected by a different government company and not DMCA. please fix this it say my account is one the verge of been permanently banned when non of the music I am playing it copyright free. 16. Fix the twitch chat verified account settings

    After twitch's recent update, verification settings have not been working properly. people have shown me their ''verified accounts only'' setting and its clearly turned ''off'', yet when they stream, it shows that its ''on'' in chat. And even when the chat actually does show it's turned off, people are still being asked to verify their account. I know this is a bug because I was able to bypass it by using the ''highlight my comment'' channel point redeem most have, and my comment went through even though I didn't verify with a phone number like it kept prompting me to. I've even seen posts of people who Do have verified accounts being hit with this problem. It needs to be addressed.

17. Stop the ads in ASMR streams

    Stop bursting my eardrums with ads, I took a habit of listening to ASMR streams to help me sleep or to get rid of a migraine, and when your ads pops up it’s often 10 times the volume of the stream, which will either wake me up or worsen my migraine. Please, stop playing ads in ASMR streams. It ****** me off and every time it plays I have to resist the urge to just throw my phone in the wall.

19. Creators Need Tools to Customize Ad Content

    Creators need tools that customize ad content to improve the ad viewing experience on the platform. It is a serious flaw in the system that creators do not have any input on what ad content is shown to their viewers.

    To share what prompted this idea, the other night a viewer informed me that they had been shown an ad for Hogwarts Legacy. This was very upsetting, because my stream has become a haven for marginalized folks on the platform (I myself am a triple minority). The promotion of JK Rowling's media on my stream was very upsetting to my entire community, as she is an outspoken bigot who profits off of marginalizing others.

    To be clear, my complaint is not about the existence of the Hogwarts Legacy ad. I understand that Twitch profits from running ads on our streams; this was merely one of many ads being shown on the platform. My problems with what happened are the following:

    1) The ad was harmful. It actively marginalized folks in my community.
    2) The ad made the viewing experience on Twitch far less entertaining for my community.
    3) The ad was completely ineffective. No one in my stream supports or condones the product being promoted.

    Creators have zero tools available that address the problems I outlined above. We need a tool in our dashboard that allows us to set preferences for the types of ads that would interest our audiences: we need to be able to customize ad content for our viewership.

    Let's take another example. Let's say that a streamer knows that they have a disproportionate number of vegetarian or vegan viewers. As of now, creators cannot give the algorithm feedback on their viewers' interests. At some point, these viewers would be shown ads that promote burgers and other meat. Such an ad would not only be a turn off for most of those viewers, but also the ad would be ineffectual in advertising its product.

    Broadly speaking, viewers want to see ads for products that interest them, while advertisers want their ads to be effective. Without any tool for creators to customize ad content, ads only have a random chance of intriguing viewers.

    If we had tools to customize ad content, it would not only improve the ad experience for the viewer, but also would help advertisements reach target audiences. More effective advertising would make the prospect of ads more appealing to advertisers, generating more revenue for Twitch and creators.

    I hope that this suggestion can lead towards improving entertainment on Twitch.

    I just quit every time I see an ad interrupting the whole stream. It's a live stream platform and your ******* ads are blocking content that may never be seen again. Youtube a pre recorded video platform gives the option to skip ad after 5 sec, where you dont even miss *. Twitch is about interactions happening live, you may ask something to streamer, react to something happening live or just enjoy silently some action.
