Please. Give creators control over wether or not they want ads to play on their channels at all. Ads are a disadvantage for small streamers! Ads hinder growth so, so much and they barely make any profit for small creators/ for twitch when playing on small creators‘ channels. Maybe give affiliates the ability to turn off all ads completely in their streams, and only have mandatory ads for partners?

Bitte nur Werbung vor dem Stream und nicht weiter mitten in den Streams (maximum nur 3) während des Streamens (für Leute ohne Abo klar etwas die Auflösung minimieren) aber maximum pro stream 3 MAL nur nicht jede Stunde bis zu 8 mal......das nervt total und versaut mir mein Hobby als Streamer.....

I am a fine artist, painting in watercolour as LorrainePaints. I am steadily growing my stream thanks to my son Grathwrang. Although Twitch is geared up for gamers (this is obvious) it is an excellent social media site for lots of artists. It is unfortunate that this has not dawned on your management. Automatically play ads when stream is static Make it an option to play ads while your stream is static (meaning the streamer is not at the computer) This would be a great way for streamers to remove pre-rolls without sacrificing any content for the viewers watching.
How it would work: Twitch detects a static screen in a channel with the settings enabled. It then sends out a 30 second ad (Configurable by the streamer) The streamer comes back with a happy audience and with pre-rolls disabled for newcomers.

Lighter pre-rolls for affiliates No small streamer should have to think about dealing with pre-rolls. It hinders growth and discoverability. It's likely that most small streamers are just starting to figure out how to retain an audience. So having to juggle between bringing new people and keeping those who were already there is an unnecessary job that only brings more anxiety.
Affiliates (or maybe just streamers with less than 10 simultaneous average viewers or so) could have a lighter ad schedule. For example, in order to disable pre-rolls, streamers would need to run 1min30s of ads every hour. That would be a good way…

Make banners closeable and take up less than 1/3 of the screen I quit twitch, I can't handle these massive banners for energy drinks that have no timer and can't be closed. You have 80% of the screen open for anything, but no, twitch always puts ads in the stream itself

No ads if watching a stream for less then 15 minutes. Ads should not be shown if a user has been watching a stream for less then 15 minutes.
Example: If I want to check 4 different channels and say hello to them, stay in for 5 to 10 minutes each and then go do something else, I'm forced to watch a minimum of 2 ads each, and they are always the same, this is a deal breaker for me, and I think for many others too.
Of course 30 minutes would be even better, but I know that would be a lot of money that you don't get, so I…2 votes -

Frequency of ads Hello Twitch Support,
Over the last couple of days i've been receiving 6 to 8 20-30 sec ads every half hour, which means that roughly 10% of what I watch on Twitch is ads. To make matters even worse ALL of the ads are from the US and im from South America so I can't buy what you are trying to sell, which means that not only it is an unpleasant experience (which makes me wonder if I somehow made Jeff Bezos angry or something) for me but a waste of money for the companies that are paying the ads.…1 vote -

Ads bugged? I have had only one ad (Pandora me) for the past week. Ive heard it so many times it literally getting to the point where I do not want to even open this app. Please fix this I cannot listen to that ad one more time its hurting my brain. Add a button that allows viewers to 'bank' watch time by watching ads themselves As the title says, I'd like the ability to be able to determine when I watch ads myself and bank 'ad-free watch time'. If you feel like the stream is a little on the slow side of things, you can decide to watch an ad instead so you won't miss that one epic moment that you're waiting for. Preferably add the options for '30 seconds' '1 minute' and '3 minutes' of ads.
Would also say this shouldn't exclude you from the streamer's own ad break. If the streamer does an ad break themselves, it'd be nice if those ads counted…

Increase the variety of ad content If you have to show an ad every 5 minutes when i watch a stream or click onto a new stream then at least have a variety of ads. I have seen the same 2 ads for the last month and i am starting to get violently angry every time one of them starts to play. So my feedback is.... If you are going to show such frequent ads at least have multiple different ads to show.

Turbo Tax Ad....please remove Recently your advertiser "Turbo Tax" has been advertising on your platform with an ad featuring a man spitting on another man with a protracted image of the man being spit on and the spit all over his face.
