Viewing experience ruined
The new "to view the stream while an ad is playing, watch it in theater mode" info card never goes away while watching a vod in fullscreen and ruins the viewing experience

For anyone else finding this, disable ublock, refresh, then re-enable ublock and refresh again.

if this is still bothering you you can pop out the player and it doesn't show the message. hard agree its really annoying though.

Same issue still exists in 2024 btw. Until today I never had that problem. However it reads now " To vie the stream while an ad is playing, open Chat", which is the exact one thing I don´t wanna do when putting the stream in FULL SCREEEN. I mean I put it in full screen BECAUSE I dont wanna read chat, BECAUSE I dont wanna get SPOILED by chatters when a new game comes out and my favourite streamer is doing a playthrough.
What a way to RUIN the streaming experience. THANKS TWITCH for ruining it.

What kind of program manager/UX designer/software engineer lead decides to put a permanent overlay notification on the main screen when in full screen??? Please add "X" button to discard this notification. Thanks!

It never goes away live too. Watching ALGS and can't see the weapon hud is pretty annoying.
