I am sick and tired of having French Ads Just because I live in Canada, does not mean I speak that language. I heavily dislike that you guys force these horrible ads on us.

mute I normally mute ads. Thing is I had a streamer VOD at max volume, ad started at 25% volume (thank you, with the volume it was at it would have scared the **** outta me). Mute anyway, but when I unmute when the ad was done, the stream volume is changed to 25% rather than 100 where I had it. I've tested this MANY times.

Audio Ad Alert We could have either an API that sends a signal for when an ad is about to be played or an option on the Stream Manager that plays something when an ad is about to play.
So at least the streamer is aware of when to pause the game to do a bathroom break or not go in an critical part and make the viewers lose it because of an ad.
That would help some of us with selective focus and don't have 2 monitors to keep track of the ads in a full screen game.

Provide clarification on Display Ads There's currently very little information on how Display Ads actually function in relation to standard video ads. Creators have zero way of seeing revenue from them vs. standard ads.
Do they replace standard fullscreen ads? Do they appear according to ad schedule settings?If these appear in addition to normal ads, why would anyone use them, especially when we have no idea what they're worth to us as creators.

Blocking new streamers We understand that ads exist to compel people to subscribe. It prevents people from giving new publishers a chance. For new publishers, I recommend removing the ads. Otherwise, new publishers will have no chance.

Enable streamers to control ads for VODs Currently, Twitch themselves control when and where the ads appear in VOD's. The issue with that is that Twitch doesn't know where is the appropriate place to place said ads. It should be left to the user, as they can more appropriately place them, as to not disrupt the flow. Just tell the user how many ads and they can place them.

Get more ads I am a streamer, I would like it if the streamers had more total ads. Not during stream but that they could pull from. I have "ran out" of ads. During my streams I keep getting "Commercial break in progress". I am not getting any ad revenue.

Ads I think streamers should be making more for ads that are run. 3.50 isn’t enough for 1,000 views most ppl are just starting out and it’s not fair to them to not even get 1000 views.

Ad Incentive Program - 90 Days of Pay Cuts I've happily taken part in the new Twitch Ad Incentive program and am grateful for the chance to finally earn enough to keep the basic bills paid. In the last 90 days, each progressive Ad Incentive offer is for more hours streamed, more minutes of each hour devoted to ads ... yet ... smaller pay-outs. My viewership is growing and my non-subbed viewer are sticking with me through the ads. I'm agreeing to more hours streamed and giving you more ad time each hour. Ads are less of a problem when you don't miss great stream moments. Give streamers ad alerts when ads are about to play! Add an alert to the alert system streamers can configure that will kick off a use-defined period of time before a scheduled ad break begins. That way everyone knows without doubt that a break is about to happen. The streamer can pause or at least be aware that the ads are happening and people are missing content, and the experience will improve for everyone. Streamers who don't want the alerts could simply not use them, of course.

More adverts Hi. I would really love it (being that you earn millions and are backed by Amazon with insane profits) if you would display even more adverts on your site. I mean, I like an advert - but what I really want is to sit through at least 5 minutes of adverts before even getting to watch a stream. Maybe also, and I know this is a big ask, but if you could stop a stream every other minute and show a minute of adverts too? That would be golden. Thanks.

3:00 worth of ads should equal 60 mins of no pre-roll So I understand that running 1:30 worth of ads will get you 30 mins of no pre-rolls and I think this is a great idea. However, 30 mins is a very short period of time to be able to go without interruptions. Even all the educational research shows that a 50 to 10 ratio is what works best for presentations.
1:30 giving you 30 mins of no pre-roll is great, but 3:00 should give you 1 hour that way the streamer can plan their content around the 50 mins of presentation, 10 min break with 3 of that being ads.

Ad placements when watching a streamer its frustrating to have an ad appear during a critical moment of gameplay, having the ad displayed full screen and the streamer on a very tiny screen + cutitng out of their audio is not a great experiance.
imagine watching your favourite tv show and its at a very tense critical part of the show just as the moment is about to happen an advert takes over your screen and the tv show is shrinked to a tiny box, you can see whats happening but you cant hear what is being said because of this advert,…

A reasonable solution to the issue of epileptically dangerous advertisements. There are ads among us with so much flickering, strobe-lights, flashing and contrast switches, colour switches, rapid flash explosions, and ridiculously loud and sudden noises, that it becomes dangerous.
It is unfair to streamers when they can not control the ads that play, and then in their safe community someone gets hurt in their stream because of automatic random ads triggering epilepsy.
When someone is hurt or killed by ads in someone's stream, that streamer often takes on the unfair guilt when they learn of it later on from the person's friends or family.

No ads for moderaters? I noticed in a recent stream that moderators that arent subscribed to the channel still experience blackout ads (ads that mute stream) i believe that this can hinder the job of a moderator, i know chat is still seen but there isn't necessarily communication with the streamer. this can create issues within streams. Either this option, or possibly free subs for currently promoted moderators.

Never have any ad break longer than 30 seconds! I will NOT sit through 3 minutes of ads. I won't sit through a minute of ads. You know what I do when I hit an ad wall longer than 30 seconds on Twitch? I close the tab and go watch something on youtube instead (seriously). It doesn't help that most of the ads are for food I'll never eat or an immoral army I'll never consider joining. The ad experience on Twitch is an embarrassment. Grace period after stream crash Can we please have a grace period of at least a few minutes before automated ads run again after the stream crashes? It is highly annoying when the scheduled ad sequence starts from scratch and messes up the whole timing of breaks, not to mention how annoying it is for non-subbed viewers.

Restrict R rated ads All Ad content should be rated G for the general public. Saw my 6 year old click on G rated creator to get an Ad for a horror movie that showed a guy getting stabbed with a knife in the neck. Please restrict these to G-Rated.

Twitch Turbo method of promotion Nearly everyone that uses YouTube knows about YT Premium because it can appear as an ad in an ad break or when you open the app on mobile sometimes, yet almost NO ONE knows about Twitch Turbo in comparison which is nearly identical to YT Premium. I was wondering if you could advertise Twitch Turbo in one of the randomly selected ads and/or somewhere else on the site in a sidebar ad for example.
