1. Founder Badge revoke system

   Streamers currently have the ability to revoke Founder badges from their Founders. This is a permanent irreversible action. They can perform this action for any reason they like.

   THIS SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT GOOD REASON.

   A Founder badge is not a cosmetic perk - it's a historical marker of loyalty.
   It signifies being one of the first to support the potential of an individual, believing in someone.

   A Founder who disappears for years? Still a Founder.
   They're not an active role, they're a timestamp in the body of the channel.

   Removal of Founder badges should be limited to behavior-related violations only.

   I'm suggesting to restrict the ability to revoke Founder badges from users.

   1. Make a menu option to report a Founder instead of a simple delete button. Allowing the creator to select a violation. After manual review by Twitch, the Founder badge can then be revoked by Twitch or 'unlocked' on the streamers end, allowing them to action the deletion and as usual the badge will automatically Roll out to the next in line. There should be a cooldown after this roll out to the next in line.

   2. Streamer wants to remove a Founder for inactivity? Allow the streamer to remove a Founder after 6 months of inactivity - no re-subs.

   3. If a Founder has subscribed for 6 months or more, the badge becomes permanent indefinitely unless a serious violation has occurred. 6 months of support is still helping someone build their 'Foundation' even if it was 11 years ago. It's a Founder badge, not VIP.

   Removing someone's Founder badge doesn't just make them a number, it makes them disposable inside that system. We don't just lose a badge, we lose a symbolic identity. It's emotional capital, not cosmetic. We don't feel bad over pixels, we feel bad over being re-written out of history.

   The part that hurts the most about having a Founder badge revoked is we only notice when we re-sub out of loyalty.

   We re-sub to someone out of loyalty and are suddenly met with downgrading. This is the inverse of how loyalty should feel.

   That moment teaches the user: "I should never invest in this channel again."
   Even if not consciously, that imprint sticks.

   The streamer probably doesn't realise what they did, most streamers don't understand:
   How deeply symbolic Founder roles are.
   How personal they feel to early supporters.
   How permanent the emotional effect is when removed.

   To them it's UI real estate.
   To us it's identity.

   If I ran a community, I would make Founder badges permanent, non-transferable, non-punitive unless behavior is severe. Sacred by design.

   As I said before - A Founder who disappears for years?
   Still a Founder.

   I've only experienced losing a Founder badge once - and it wasn't nice.
   In my case, I wasn't classifiable as inactive. As a supporter of someone, to find out they've finally registered to Twitch and wanting to branch into streaming is extremely exciting. I made sure to subscribe as soon as it were possible - but unfortunately the streamer I was supporting did not stream and they went inactive for months. Naturally, I would unsubscribe and wait for their return.
   Eventually they came back, ready to start. However, I only noticed 2 weeks late. As soon as I noticed their return, I subscribed out of excitement and loyalty, only to be met with instant degradation - badge gone - how, why?
   Within that 2 weeks of their return, I had been "inactive" to them and my Founder badge had been revoked and handed down to a pink badge VIP that had gifted 100 subs - yet following and subscribing a months after me.

   It wasn't personal, I know this new streamer would have had no idea who I was or the meaning behind these Founder badges and was likely guided through the process by a gifter.

   All I can say is it was not a nice experience and I'm truly hurt as a supporter.

   This system fails early supporters. Founders are important.

   Please reconsider this system.

2. Ability to bulk gift subs to specific viewers

   Hi Twitch Team & Community,

   I’d love the option to gift subscriptions to specific viewers in a chat, especially those who have been part of a small community for years and who I personally enjoy interacting with. Right now, I can only gift one sub per person without any bulk discount.

   It would be amazing if the 5/10/20 sub bonus structure could also apply when gifting to multiple specific viewers at once. Additionally, allowing gifting an extra sub to someone who already has an active sub would be a fantastic feature.

   Just a simple, fun way to directly support and appreciate specific community members. It would make gifting more flexible and meaningful for viewers who want to give back to their favorite chat members.

3. Subscription Streak Pricing

   Adding in subscription streaks delivering discounts for a portion of the cost as if it had been bought all at once for chained resubscriptions.

   If a user subscribes to a channel, they can currently do so in 1, 3, and 6 month packages, with larger buy-ins being cheaper. However to net a user-positive change, adding in a portion of that discount should a user net the 3 or 6 months of subscriptions via 1-month at-a-time resubscription. (Within a margin of 24 hours from each ending.) Due to payment processing costs, the full discount might not be applicable, however even a portion would add a user-positive spin on recurring subscriptions.

   In my personal offerings, a $5.99 subscription for 1 month, $5.39 for 3 months ($1.08 discount), $5.09 for 6 months ($5.04 discount).

   In a streak system, a user hitting 3 subsequent months would pay the $5.99 for the first 2 adjacent months and then have the 3rd month's resubscription be discounted for a portion of the $1.08 (so say, $0.54).

   This system would reward a user for loyalty, without punishing them for economic disparity. Which is to say I as a user may not have the spare money for the larger packages, but wouldn't be punished for it. I could more confidently subscribe at a per-month basis to reflect my momentary finances. The benefit is still in favor of larger transactions, but savings of some sort are not withheld to users without the confidence that they can afford it.

4. Add a new lower tier sub option with ads

   ince the price of standard Twitch subs has increased, I think adding a lower tier ad-supported sub to give folks a cheaper option to support creators would be extremely helpful. Similar to how many TV and movie streaming services are adding ad-supported subscription tiers, I think Twitch could do this with subs to creators.

   Instead of the standard $5.99 USD, this ad-supported sub-tier could be $2.99 USD, but because it's ad supported the revenue split could be more in favor of the creator. In terms of features these subs could:
   - Give users access to a limited subset of subscriber emotes. A user could pick 5 subscriber emotes to unlock when they sub this way, with the option to change which 5 emotes each month when the sub renews.
   - Not remove any ads. These subs would be listed as a new "below tier 1" level, so they would not remove any ads.
   - Provide a 66-33 split for all creators no matter their affiliate or partner status. This would give the creator $2 per sub and Twitch $1 per sub. Since twitch makes more revenue off ads than creators, this is a fair way to share revenue for an ad supported tier, and it still provides the creator with less money than a standard tier 1 sub, that way it does not disincentivize tier 1 subscriptions in any way.
   - Have no 3 or 6 month option or discount. These subs could be an auto-renewable month-to-month subscription, but because it is already more affordable, there would be no option for a further discount with a 3 or 6 month option. However, since it's a paid sub, users could set it to auto renew (unlike prime subs which mus be manually renewed monthly)
   - Be toggle-able by creators. If a streamer does not want to offer these ad supported subs, they could simply turn the feature off. But if a streamer wants them to be an option, they could turn them on. This way, creators don't need to worry about losing revenue from folks switching to these lower-tier subs en masse from a forced rollout, but they can offer the lower tier subs if they want to. If a creator uses the setting that makes all subscribers still view ads, this subscription option would be locked and off.

   I think adding this option would be a great way to provide users with a lower-cost way to support creators while still offering a fair revenue split and ad stream for Twitch. Additionally, this is a great way to give creators more control over their monetization options. This kind of thing would be extremely helpful for smaller streamers, who may have trouble getting many folks to sub at a full $5.99/month and could offer a lower cost option for folks feeling out monetary support. It also would incentivize users to subscribe to more creators by adding a cheaper/lower tier subscription option they could use for some creators, facilitating more revenue generation overall on the platform for everyone.

7. Goal Tracking Needs a "Target Subs"

   The two options currently available suck for viewers (and thus creators) because "Total Subs" will go up/down as prior subs expire, which makes the community progress feel like suddenly going backwards. And "New Subs" doesn't allow someone to resub and actually contribute to the goal.

   We need a combination of sorts, perhaps a "Target Subs" where it counts any new or resubs and only counts UP, without falling down when a prior sub expires.

8. Allow Multi-Month Tier 2 & Tier 3 Subscription Gfiting

   Allow Multi-Month 3,6,12 month gift subscriptions for Tier 2 and Tier 3 subs. Some creators will Sub their Local Bots due to extra emote access.

   There should be no reason why Tier 2 and Tier 3s don't get the same treatment as Tier 1s in ANY developed feature as Tier 2s are just double Tier 1s and Tier3s even though extra free subpoint to factor into the mix still is 5 Tier1s as a bundle in terms of total pricing. Even at 12 months gifted it still comes under the max $999 fraud check amount.

   Hey I think it would be nice to allow refunds for the Turbo Trial within 24 hours of forgetting to cancel it and having it auto renew. That would be a lot more appropriate and in line with pretty much every other online service in the entire world.

10. access emote subs for turbo

    Hello, I’ve been a Twitch Turbo subscriber for many years, and I believe it’s only fair that those of us who use this service receive additional benefits to enhance the subscription’s value.

    Among various ideas, I think that granting access to channel subscriber–exclusive emotes is by far the best. Since being a Turbo subscriber effectively covers all of Twitch, it makes sense to allow this privilege—naturally limited to the channels the Turbo subscriber follows.

    I would like to upgrade my subscription plan.
    However, since I purchased a 6-month plan from the mobile app, I cannot upgrade until that period expires. I would like to have a feature that allows me to upgrade immediately by paying the difference via a browser.

    Hope an editing feature can be added for Expired Subscriptions. Although the 'Block Receiving Gifts on Channels You Don't Follow' setting has been turned off, past records still remain. It would be great if users could edit them themselves.

    45 minuts in trying to gift or make a sub. But my Google account dosnt accept my password ,and My PayPal Is bugged Just isnide Twitch.

    My Revolutionary idea Is to not fkin linking my credito card to Google cause the form Is made from Twitch not Google. And to pay oroperly the developers or to use enough of them to made the PayPal Page enough not bugged to be used.

    From now on I give my fkin Money directly to the streamers end of you fix It cause mu fkin time Is not free. Maybe you are working for free you are not payed or you dont pay. But my time uas a costi and I do t like to lose fkin hours in tour way. If I want to lose time i Watch a streamers not a fkin bugged Page.

    So its not a suggestion for me. But for the Next user that you May not lose maybe.

16. Add Tier2 & Tier3 Community Gifted Subs into API

    Currently gifting any Tier 2 or Tier 3 subs doesn't show properly in the Activity feed because there is no API endpoint for these, only Tier1s

    This will allow 3rd party alerts & Twitch Alerts to be based on a specific ammount of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Community Gifted subs.

    If Twitch would rather only focus on TIer1s then get rid of Tier2 and Tier3 completely and move the added emotes unlocks to a Total Gifted Subs on channel status unlock along with the badges.

17. Stop calling Scams discount

    If you make a sub-discount (like currently the 35% off), dont let the streamer pay for it!

    I know that the site needs money, but this isnt helping anyone!

    The streamer literally has to pay everything for these disounts! Because (and correct me if I am wrong):

    -The Price of the sub goes around half or more to twitch -> So the streamer already doesnt get all the money from subs.
    -NOW the streamer PAYS additional costs for these "35% off" -> thats literally stripping the streamer off of sub-income!

    So my Feedback would be: either take the cost or dont do this scammy "discount".

    Hello Twitch. Thank you for running the June 2025 sale of 5 or more Gift Subs. With the chaos in the economy and changes in on-line viewing, this has really made a difference in my bottom line. I'm guessing the 35% Off sale is resulting in more sales that wouldn't happening this week. My idea (or desperate pleading) is that you consider making the second week of each month 35% Off 5 or More Gift Subs week permanent while the economy is in free-fall. You'll not only be helping streamers like me who are just barely getting by, but the added sales will also be a boost to your bottom line too. This could be a life-line for us all. Thank you!

    I have a problem the prime subs button don't appear, but i have all activated for it i can't use my prime sub.

20. Improve accountability/offer compensation for unexpected subscription renewals

    When a cancelled subscription turns into a renewed one, Twitch should show more interest in how/why it happened and figure out how to compensate that error, instead of ignoring it. Simply sending email stating "we do not give refunds" and "how to cancel a subscription" is like blaming the customers for an error that has happened despite following all of the steps for cancelling their subscriptions.

    Suggestion: Investigate. Ask for information, such as email confirmation of cancelled subscription and renewal. For example, if the cancellation happened well before the end of the time period and the auto renew happened, then it would be a system error, not a customer error. There would be no need to "explain" to the customer how to cancel a subscription at that point.

    Suggestion 2: Offer alternate compensation for "unexpected renewals" that happens because of system error. Consider giving a "free" one month sub to the streamer of the customer's choice. An emote pack with new emotes that the customer can choose from (choose 5 from a list of 20, for example) would be another alternative offer. If the customer has never used Turbo before, offer a one month free trial of Turbo.
