1. Site membership plan and 1-day channel memberships to support less-frequent streamers

Some streamers produce streams much more or less frequently than others, and the value and amount of content offered to the viewer that they can watch in exchange for the same whole Month's subscription is massively more or less, and full month subs are difficult to justify for viewers who watch many different channels - a few highly active, but others with much less frequent stream schedules.

It doesn't seem correct that those channels who stream a few days a month have the same minimum Subscription cost per month overall to Sub to the content as those channels we can watch 10+ hours a week, and viewers can't move or use the Subscription benefit such as the Ad-Free viewing on a different channel -- In the current environment I can pay for $100 a month in subs, then during the time I start watching a new streamer with an infrequent schedule; Twitch does Not provide any of the Subscription benefits such as Ad-Free, despite Twitch already being paid the $100 for that benefit.

The suggestion is to implement a "Sitewide Channel membership program" instead where viewers can Prepay an annual fee to Twitch and purchase a number of "Subscription day credits" of their choice, And we can allocate those credits towards 1-Day Subscriptions of streamers whom when we wish to Not purchase a full month subscription for that streamer.

This would add, say a $0.20 "1-Day Channel membeship" option where we can subscribe to a streamer for 24 hours by allocating a day's worth of our Prepaid credit, instead of being required to purchase a full 30 days for each streamer (Who might only stream once or twice during that 30 day Window),

And It's suggested there be an option to automatically use that credit to renew the 1-Day subscription Only on the days we actually post one of that stream's emotes into chat, Or join that stream (And can therefore use the Subscription benefits).

2. A one dollar temporary subscription

Recently have seen a lot of crossover events of streamers on other people's streams, I think there could be an opportunity for something like a one dollar 24hr or 72hr subscription that acts simply to remove ads for a short time. This mainly stemmed from me jumping around to multiple different streams when watching the different sh**camp events, where i don't wanna pay for a sub for 8 different creators, but would be willing to pay 1$ to have a temporary break from ads for that days event or so on.

4. Adding the ability to buy sub "vouchers"

Imagine being able to buy 10 sub-vouchers in one go, which you can use like the prime sub, by checking a checkbox. This would mean that there would only be one bundled payment instead of having multiple payments.

You could maybe even use the vouchers to gift a sub.

The possible advantage from my point of view is that you can pay for all your subscriptions at the same time, which would make

This could maybe even come with a discount as there should be less money transfer fees.

Going even further: You could have an autobuy option for the vouchers, so you have e.g. 10subs a month available.

5. Drops working 10-25% of the time

Subscribed to Twitch/Amazon prime for few reasons, game content drops and Amazon prime video. Since the drops work only sometimes and for unknown amount of time, I don't see the value there anymore. I've lost the drop content more than I can remember and almost always the connection seemed fine. I've reconnected the game accounts several times for several games and the same issue continues. Your response is always "game provider is in charge of it", which is completely unacceptable.
And since that part of my subscription reason is gone, only amazon prime video is left, it has to compete with other streaming platforms and although with a competing price tag, the fight is long lost.

Please create marketing campaign on twitch drops when you've fixed it, so I can re-evaluate the Twitch subscription again.

   Thank you.

6. Custom Sub Prices & benefits

Youtube has this thing that you can CUSTOMIZE the price of the subscriptions + the benefits that the subscriber is going to have. This will offer the opportunity to creators customize their subscriptions based on their community. Not to mention that unfortunately this sub price changes that twitch did may not work for everybody.

   Give power to the creators!

   Thank you.

7. Smart Way to Remove "Sub Tiers"

Basically the point here is not to only remove the Tiers, but improve instead and we all know that "Tier 2 and Tier 3" is not for everyone, so the idea is to make this a more comfortable way for the Views to use it and for the Streamer to manage!?

1° Instead of the "Tier" the sub should be a fixed price.

2° Add an option that make viewers choose if they want to pay more for the sub and that extra being like a donate.

3° That would be an way to not have a separate "Donate Button" on Twitch Channel and since we all know that twitch is good with "payment methods", adapting this to the streamer region would not be a big deal.

4° Twitch should discuss this with the community about the "share and tax" for the streamers.
E.g. If this idea get implemented on the way that sub it's right now, people would be mad at the share they would receive from it.

5° The Reward/Prizes for "Paying More" should be on the hand of the streamer to choose the amount and be creative with it.
E.g. "Channel Points Buttons" exclusive for it, the "Tiers emotes" and a lot of things.

PS:. In the end is just an Idea having in mind that is not perfect, would be an improvement at least to me, but feel free to add any extra suggestions on the comments.

9. Ads Overhaul

   Dear Twitch,

I think I speak for most of the streaming community when I say we do NOT like your new mid-roll strategy. Ads are among the biggest annoyances on the site and the solution is not to give us more ads. Here are some ideas on making ads on Twitch better for both the creator and the viewer.

   1. Give the creators an actual cut of the ad revenue
Right now, this is absolutely peanuts when you compare it to other video content sites, it’s actually insane. This would make running ads also a bit more attractive for creators and viewers will know that these ads would actually support their favourite creators a lot more than now.

   2. Make your ads shorter and skippable
The ads that are currently running on Twitch are often way too long. Myself and other viewers have often skipped these ads by simply going to a different channel, that is not okay. That should not happen.

   3. Consider adding closable lower third ads
When you first launch a stream you can have a lower third ad hovering over the videoplayer. Be sure to make it so that viewers can click these away.

   4. Let creators and viewers (individually) control mid-rolls
I really like the fact that as a creator you can roll an ad, for instance, when you need to take a snack break or toilet break. What if we add a feature like that for every viewer. Let’s say you have a button somewhere next to the stream that viewers can opt for an ad to support their favourite creators, this way both the creator and the viewer has more control over when they want to see ads.

   5. Bits for ads
Why is this not a thing worldwide? This is such a nice concept and should be implemented all over the world because it gives the chance for viewers that can’t afford a sub or bits to give bits anyway by just saving them up by watching ads here and there. This can go hand in hand with the ad button for viewers.

   6. A certain amount of paid subs (gift subs excluded) = Twitch Turbo
Lastly, make it so that viewers that have a certain amount of paid subscriptions across multiple channels have Twitch Turbo perks. However, they could still opt to see ads to support a streamer with the button and still see mid-rolls from the streamer.

In summary, I think there is a lot to learn from other platforms in regards to ads on Twitch. These are just some loose ideas, I’m sure there are plenty of people that have better ideas than me or that can make these ideas even better. Thank you for reading and hopefully, maybe, something will be done with this.

Special shoutout to @HarrisHeller and @Jasper55RL (both on Twitter) for providing some of the points talked about in this post.

10. Wishlist for most desired channels to get a gift sub for

As I gift subs often, I tend to get gifted subs in return a lot of times as well. Due to certain algorithms I assume, I sometimes get subs to channel I am not interested in and/or have never been to. It would be nice to get priority in gift sub bombs for channels you frequent often, or by means of some sort of wishlist, so that people know which channel(s) you'd like to get a sub gift the most.

11. Prices for countries in Eastern Europe are pretty messed up in my opinion

Now, this is right after regional prices for Europe came out. Most countries are now set to 3.99 EUR, despite countries in Eastern Europe (especially countries in the Balkans), having 3-6 times less income than nations in western Europe.

Just for a bit of comparison (data is from google)

    Bulgaria - Average monthly wage = 595€
    Serbia - Average monthly wage = 562€
    Romania - Average monthly wage = 743€

    France - Average monthly wage = 2,225€
    Belgium - Average monthly wage = 2,262€
The Netherlands - Average monthly wage = 2,240€

I understand it may feel ****** to people living in wealthier countries to pay more, however like I already showed above, the money made in different countries isn't even in the same atmosphere. I would ask for Twitch to either rethink the prices for Eastern European countries.

13. A little change

When someone gifts a sub/subs, they should first be distributed to the people who are in chat at the time the subs are being gifted, if there are more gifts than viewers, or there are no more viewers to gift subscriptions to as they have all been gifted, it then should be given to followers who may not be in chat at the moment. Its a really good idea which would help with viewer retention and appreciation.

15. Optionales einblenden von Informationen zum Account

    Guten Tag liebes Twitch-Team,

I would love to see SubGifter rewards, Bit Droppers get emotes yet people who gift subs don't get any perks.!
even if its a couple of emote slots this would be huge.
this would be another incentive for people to gift a sub or 2.

18. Dont Gift Subs to Non Followers

Dont Gift Subs to Non Followers it's disappointing when someone who has no intention of watching your stream is gifted a sub, maybe they came by for a minute or two and weren't interested, maybe you beat them in a game and they came by and said something rude then left, maybe they pulled it up on an alt account on their phone before switching to their main account to follow you. Either way it is a waste to gift subs to accounts that have no intention of watching your stream and is an insult to the gifter who's obviously gifting subs with the intention that it will help you grow your stream, otherwise they'd just donate to you directly. Seems an easy fix to make the algorithm give subs to only followers at least until every follower of the account is a sub. Not sure why this isn't a thing already.
