2. Ignore first press on remote when fullscreen

   With the last update to the AndroidTV app in the week before January 29th 2023 there was a change in behavior when you press a button when in fullscreen.

   Now the button action gets applied. So to get the UI back I need to press a button. If I press OK it will execute the action the the at that time not visible focus is on which is dangerous as it could be on Unfollow or Back or at least annoying that it does something.

   Pressing left or right start scrolling the timeline when watching a VOD. When watching live it moves the focus which is annoying.

   This was not the case in the previous version. There showing UI from fullscreen just worked fine. Please fix it.

3. Raid Trains Shouldn't Fail on AppleTV

   I have a PC and AppleTV in the same room. 100% of the time, Raids will fail to move channels on the AppleTV. Please investigate so AppleTV will follow a Raid to the raided channel and not leave us abandoned on the original channel. I think this is why we are seeing so many incomplete raids and hosts are trying to send Raid 'shuttles' when they notice only 95% of their viewership correctly raided over to the new channel.

4. Google TV App roll back

   My google tv updated the twitch app. The new UI is ugly, not user-friendly, lags a lot, the quality is worse, and I can't send emotes on my TV anymore. I have no idea how this change went through. Please roll back to a previous version.

6. Chromecast App (Cast)

   Update casting a stream (Chromecast)

   Recently, you updated the Twitch Chromecast App with the actual design, improving vods, etc...

   But i use the "cast to" with the Twitch mobile app, an it carries me to the old design from the Chromecast App, and without chat (we don't have an option to put the chat in the Casting format).

   So please, update the Casting format to the actual Chromecast App Update.

7. Unfollow button on recent update is too easy to press

   I was updated to a more recent version of the Twitch TV app. The unfollow button is often defaulted, and it is VERY easy to mispress the button.

   If I am already following the streamer, this option should be tucked away where it can't be pressed as easily. It is obnoxious, and could undo the user's following date for the streamer.

8. Revert Android TV update or re-add removed features

   The most recent update to the Android TV version of the app is lacking in functionality and preformance. The app was visually more appealing before as well as having better functionality and quality of streams.

   The decision to completely remove the ability to chat via the app is poorly thought out at best, and plain lazy at worst. On my Nvidia Shield I have the ability to use voice to text and to connect an external keyboard to type. Why do I need to use my phone to chat when there is literally already a spot for the function to go. It simply doesn't make sense. You have also removed the live preview feature from the browsing part of the app. This is not only a unnecessary removal but has actually resulted in a poorer preformance of the app.

   The apps preformance has also seemingly fallen off a cliff. When I select streams they are never at the maximum available quality despite me having 1000mb/s download. Streams also take 5+ seconds to load in most cases as opposed to being available almost immediately before. This is likely due to the fact that hovering over a chanel no longer provides a live preview. Why is this removed?

   The app also generally is more cluttered and less appealing. Everything has this giant extra white background that appears around it when you hover over it. This white box is blinding compared to the darker features of most games and also covers large swaths of the screen. You are also unable to dismiss the, for some reason larger than before, UI that appears when viewing a stream. This UI also needlessly darkens the screen by a large amount while selecting stream quality or navigating to enable/disable the now lackluster chat box.

   Please immediately revert this massive downgrade disguised as a "update", or commite to fixing these glaring issues and readding the core feature of chatting to the app.

9. Everything about the new GoogleTV app is terrible

   My app on GoogleTV / Chromecast updated today and it’s absolutely awful. Build ID: sat-fa3f730/my-c/celadon

   Everything on the screen is cramped together, the white boxes around the highlighted stream on home page looks awful, I have a 1gb connection and auto resolution will not go with high quality video and has to be manually selected, and the streams are blown out in contrast / washed. Games and streams look awful.

    Please restore chat history to Firestick. I frequently watch VODs and now I miss a lot of context because chat history has been removed.

11. Add 1440p resolution playback to Apple TV app

    Please add the ability to watch 1440p streams to Apple TV's app.

    The other day a stream was going at 1440p@60, and was able to watch at this resolution on the iPhone app, iPad app and PC browsers. The highest resolution offered from the Apple TV app was 720p.

    It's not a device capability issue, as the TV and Apple TV device can play at 4K@60 no issues. YouTube videos and live streams can play at 1440p@60 without issue.

14. Rollback to V9 on Chromecast

    Please rollback version 11 to version 9 on Chromecast / appletv.

    It's the same for firetv, this version is broken als well since V10, that's why I replaced my firetv with a Chromecast. Now here the same buggy and broken version got released as well. Since you guys don't care at all for your users I think I will just uninstall it or use a third party player.

    How can you guys not have ANY QA at all with such a large user base? I don't get it...

16. Twitch TV App for PS5 -Latest Version Update (November 2022) Review

    The Twitch TV App for Playstation 5 updated to the latest version (November 2022). I like the inclusion of the about me section, it provides a helpful description of what a channels' content is. The homepage now includes a selection of viewable categories -with ready to browse through channels being showcased. A welcome feature. But there may be one too many viewable categories (to browse through downwards) on the homepage. Fewer sections/ viewable categories could aid the homepage in appearing less clunky. Or an option that allows users to personally customize which categories appear on their homepage -would be wonderful. I appreciate that the followed channel list now details the last time a streamer went live -such info is useful when cleaning/ clearing the list of channels one follows. The addition of an uptime display -detailing how long a current stream has been running/ live is appreciated.

    Things that worked well before the November 2022 update -and now don't.

    When browsing through channels in a category. A current live video preview of the channel was accessible -without actually entering the channel -simply placing the browsing cursor on a channel activated the live preview. Since the update no channel previews are seen -only non-updating frozen screen captures/ thumbnails of the channel appear.

    A channels' screen captured image/ thumbnail/ screenshot no-longer updates. Therefore many a time, a user will notice an interesting channel thumbnail/ screenshot -click to enter the channel -only for the channel to be far removed from the scene of that in the thumbnail. The screen captured thumbnail/ image never updates, no matter the number of minutes passed -a user will have to close the entire App and then reopen it, in order to get an updated thumbnail/ image.

    When browsing a section:- be it, from ones followed channel list or any other category. Previously, it was possible to scroll/ browse through the live followed channels list -enter/ open a channel of interest -then back-away and leave the channel. Such an action would return the selection cursor/ scroller to the position of last/ recently entered channel (in the following channel list). However, after the Twitch Tv update for PS5 the selection cursor/ scroller is always returned to the very top/ beginning of the followed channel list. Hence the user has to once again browse through from the very top/ beginning. An unnecessary and painful chore. Imagine attempting to review a number of channels, from a category with many live channels to browse through -and then having to repeat these actions several times.

    Finally, in my opinion the most unnecessary inclusion in the TV App update for PS5 is that of requiring a scan of a QR Code, in order to access the chat section of a channel. After a successful login into Twitch App TV, the last thing a user expects nor needs is the requirement for extra external inputs outside the Twitch TV app -to simply chat. This was not the case in the previous version of the TV app for PS5, which made using the app expedient and efficient. What benefits does a user derive, from the extra step of a QR Code? How necessary is it? To what extent?

17. Make chat available on the twitch app for fire tv stick you dont need a phone to type in chat when you have a fire tv remote inhand

    Take away the QR code and give chat back to people who do not use a phone to chat we have a fire tv remote that works perfectly fine and not having QR code to scan its a simple fix keep the new look just get rid of the QR code to chat nonsence !

    There should be an option to stop seeing the amount of views for games on Twitch and livestreams as the views and comments would or can be distracting.

19. Sending emotes in TV apps

    Currently it's not possible to participate to the chat from the FireTV App.
    Sending text messages from the TV is definetly not reasonable. But selecting emotes to support some kind of hype in the chat could be easy doable with the FireTV remote.

    I think that increases the feeling to be a part of the stream as viewer and therefore the viewers satisfaction. Also it could be one more reason to subscribe to that streamer.
