Remember the Apple TV App? The Apple TV app often gets left behind, and one of these ways that it's been forgotten about is in the animated emotes department. They still don't animate when you have chat on screen. It would be really nice if someone could look over the Apple TV app and get it back in line with the rest of Twitch's apps!

Restore functionality of Followed Channels on FireTV devices I don't know if this was purposeful part of the update, or merely a bug, but a few weeks ago an update got pushed to all of my FireTV devices, logging me out of each. When I logged back in, only 2 or 3 of my 20+ live followed channels would display. If I login on a PC, everything seems to be fine. I use my FireTV devices to watch Twitch more than anything else, but having to manually search for my favorite streams is a major turn-off... please please please prioritize a fix for this

Don’t show the UI immediately when a channel loads With the latest app update (on or around 3/30/22), when a channel loads on the FireTV app, the UI loads in front of it.
The screen is obscured by a somewhat opaque black layer, which covers or hides the content. The channel name and information about the channel as well as action buttons (settings, show chat window, report) appear as part of this interruption.
BUT YOU CAN’T CLOSE THE UI IMMEDIATELY, to get to the content faster. This is incredibly frustrating.

Updated Application for TV Devices You recently updated the TV application (I personally use the Amazon Firestick) and it is unusable. You can no longer access many previous broadcasts as it only loads recent ones. The fast forward and rewind feature glitches and is difficult to control, especially compared to the previous version. On the home screen, it does not show broadcasts you haven't finished anymore so you have to go to the subscriber and hope it is still available. The old version had some issues but at least it was easy to navigate

Feature Requests for WebOS App and FireTV I have several suggestions for the app:
They should show more followed users who are online broadcasting, since only 10 or 15 appear and the other online users with fewer viewers are not shown, only those with the most appear, the rest have to be searched manually.
Allow replays and clips to be viewed from channels and save progress.
That the order in which the lists appear down can be modified or that after showing those followed online, the next one shows the categories.
That the framerate for streams that have 60fps be fixed, at least to fix the image…

Rollback the FireTV App to V9 The loss of functionality of V10 when compared to V9 is baffling. The redesigned UI is nigh incapable of assisting the user with finding non-live content, since the home, bowse, and category pages now only present live channels to the user.
In the prior app version, all followed channels were listed in a dedicated row about 2 rows below the top/live followed channels row. By removing this and all other non-live content, V10 of the FireTV app delivers an experience that is order of magnitudes more cumbersome to navigate compared to the prior version.

Hey! I would love if it was possible to watch multiple streams at once! I used to use an app where you could have up to like 6 streams at once all live and you could really easily switch between them without any lag or loading. Put it this way twitch! 4 streams At once! 4 times As many ads!

Allow BetterTTV emotes and animated emotes in LG Twitch App Currently Twitch chat on the LG app allows chat with still images only,
with a limited amount of emotes available total. As a result, a lot of the chat context is lost due to the emote name being listed rather than the animation. This would go a long way in improving the user experience and making the app the premier Twitch viewing experience on the TV. Allowing BetterTTV emotes, which are already able to be integrated on the PC client, would also add to the chat experience.12 votes -

Stream windows are "shaking" on tvOS app? When watching a stream on Apple 4k tvOS, the stream's window appears to "Shake" horizontally really badly. The chat window on the right is perfectly fine, so it doesn't seem like its a tv issue.
It seems to be worse on some streams more than others. But I do not see the shaking on any other platforms.
Some streams shake so badly that I just cannot watch it.

Fix pre-roll ads still playing during a raid on tvOS app The idea to remove pre-roll ads at the beginning of a raid was marked as completed and appears to be working on desktop, but I'm still getting ads immediately upon raids on the tvOS app.
This is incredibly frustrating as I am forced to miss the streamer's reaction from the raid.

upgrade quality of twitch app on tv some streamers I can watch perfectly some freezing 10 seconds after clicking there stream. I think also animated emotes should be added to the chat on tv. When watching it’s just a picture.. same with bttv if it would work. I think aswell I’ve seen with alot of streams they start loading after 5 minutes for a few seconds and it delays the stream for how you view it. Hope my feedback helps.

Browse by tags I'm kind of surprised this isn't possible on Twitch's TV apps. The search function even says "find your favorite stream, category, or tag", but it doesn't search for tags at all. If I search "speedrun" for example, I can find channels or stream titles that literally contain the word "speedrun", but not the speedrun tag. For that matter, I'd like to be able to follow a tag in the same way I can follow a game category, but I suppose that's out of the scope of this request.
