4:3 Aspect Ratio stream support This is not limited to just one app. It's the same across Android TV, Chromecast, Xbox, and Playstation.
A year ago or so the app used to display streams that weren't 16:9 correctly. Then an update happened and all of the apps started to stretch 4:3 streams to fit. This makes a lot of the screen unviewable.
Fortunately there is a work around, but it's annoying, opening chat on the right makes the stream display perfectly.
Initially I reported this as a bug, and was directed here to have my bug fix voted on by popularity contest. I don't think…

Allow Raid on LG TV When I’m watching a streamer on my LG TV and they raid someone it doesn’t automatically work the way it does on my iPad. Not sure if there is a way to do it manually but it would be nice if it worked as seamlessly as on my iPad.

Agregar pestaña "seguir viendo" y poder ver directos subidos de hace mas de 10 dias de otros streamers Agregar pestaña "seguir viendo", ya que esta actualmente solo aparece en movil y PC, ademas tambien poder ver directos subidos de hace mas de 10 dias de otros streamers, ya que al parecer hay un limite de los directos que aparecen para poder ver cuando entras en el perfil del streamer, aunque tenga 40 directos subidos solo aparecen un tope de 10 directos que puedes ver, por lo que si quieres ver un directo que no aparece hay, tienes que buscarlo manualmente en el buscador por el titulo y demas.

Disable chat function Give us the ability to disable the chat so that it doesn't take up any bandwidth, hiding it isn't good enough when there are too many people in chat. Especially on TVs which aren't powerful enough to handle several thousand idiots spamming emotes.

AppleTV App Video and Audio stutters and lags New App video buffers and audio lags on wifi. Sometimes it lags on ethernet, wired connection. I am using a Apple TV 4K (1st generation). I am on the current tvOS which is 17.5.1. Never had this problem until now.

Make Chat available for VODs Please make chat available on VODs for Twitch TV app. Chat is perhaps the most important feature of Twitch and not having it available makes no sense whatsoever. For reference, the chat is already available when Ewing this content on a mobile device or a computer. I would put this in the feature request area, but it really is a feature that should be standard and is standard in all other iterations of Twitch, so I must assume it is a bug.

Remove the scanning of the QR code just to type in chat What the most recent update that the fire stick app had gone for twitch us fire stick users are no fire stick users are no longer able to use our remotes to type in chat and now we have to scan a QR code when we could easily use our remotes to type in chat which is not cool

Stream sometimes gets out of sync on Apple TV Pausing causes the video to fast forward back into place, waiting for this and resuming fixes (but it often reproduces throughout the stream)

Horrible Performance on Samsung TVs Unfortunately, the navigation through the Twitch app on my Samsung TV (QN90C) is very stuttery, laggy and overall slow. It takes several seconds after you clicked on the remote before something happens in the app.
The YouTube app on the same TV runs way smoother than the Twitch app. Please fix this in future updates.

Button to automatically remove UI / HUD Right now, on the Samsung TV app, the user interface stays on the screen forever. It does not go away. Additionally, there is not button to immediately remove the UI overlay from the screen, you have to wait the 3 seconds or so for the UI to go away. This is not how most apps work. There is an option, usually hitting "up" on your remote, to make the UI disappear immediately. If that option existed, I imagine I would not be stuck here staring at the UI overlayed on a dimmed stream. It doesn't matter if I turn the…

Prevent Crashing The Twitch App on my Sony Bravia 4K VH2, Android TV OS V1 will play twitch just fine for about 30 minutes. Then, the stream will crash with the option to 'reload.' it never reloads; in fact, you can't load a stream from a different channel either. Same crash screen. You have to go to the TV Settings > Apps > Twitch > Force Stop > Open to get it working again.
