1. My idea is if it's possible to bring back the non usage of a phone to type in twitch chat on the amazon fire stick TV app

   The last or recent update that twitch had gone for the amazon fire stick was absolutely horrendous taking away the ability to chat with our remotes and now we have to use the phone by scanning a QR code which is totally irrelevant its not usefull having to do this just to type in chat

2. Twitch app for Echo devices

   It was very popular in recent years and I would like to propose other people's idea again. In Echo devices (those with Alexa integrated), especially the Echo show category, they have had the peculiarity of having video streaming applications with them. For example Prime Video and Netflix, given that Twitch is "acquired" by Amazon, the Twitch application for Echo show devices would also be useful. Or at least make it possible to access via the site since Amazon silk (browser within Echo show devices) is not among the browsers supported by Twitch. I ask for an opinion on this as it has been requested for a long time

14. Bug - Oh bummer… an error occurred while playing this content

    Can log into the application on the TV, can see previews of what is happening on the stream, but when I go to watch it it gives me the “Bug - Oh bummer… an error occurred while playing this content” message. It just started happening today. I have not done any new updates, haven’t changed wifi, didn’t disconnect wifi at all when it started happening. I was watching a stream and just went into another one and this pops up no matter what I do.

    I have tried shutting off my tv and unplugging it for an extended period. I have disconnected from wifi and reconnected. I have cleared the cache from the app as well as run a diagnostics on the TV. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I checked permissions on my TV. I signed out and signed back into twitch. What else can I even do?

    Can log into the application on the TV, can see previews of what is happening on the stream, but when I go to watch it it gives me the “Bug - Oh bummer… an error occurred while playing this content” message. 15. Improve back press behaviour during playback

    The current behavior when pressing back during playback is bad. It just closes the content immediately, regardless of whether the player overlay is visible or not.

    For usability to prevent accidentally closing the content, during playback the stream/VoD should only be closed when pressing back twice in a row, so:
    - If playback overlay is visible, pressing back once should hide the overlay, pressing back again should close content. This is what the native AppleTV+ app does.
    - If playback overlay is hidden, pressing back once should show the overlay, pressing back again should close content

    The current behavior is annoying because I normally only use the player overlay to fast forward, and I press back once I'm done to continue watching the VoD and want to get rid of the overlay I'm not using anymore. Also, because of the black screen bug. I have to press pause and play to get the video back, which shows the overlay, and I keep closing the VoD when trying to dismiss it.

16. Bug: Not showing live followed channels on homepage

    [LG webOS app] I only follow 1 twitch channel (HasanAbi) and when the channel is live, there’s nothing on the homepage about it. Instead it shows “Live Channels We Think You May Like”.

    This is poor UX and requires extra clicks to get to the main content people want.

    I don’t open twitch app to discover new content. I primarily open it to tune into a subscribed stream.

    Deep links are supported in iOS using the format twitch://stream/<channel name> or twitch://open?stream=<channel name>. This does not work under tvOS. It would be great if deep linking was supported in tvOS.

19. Bug: Live Followed Channels Does Not Show All Live Followed Channels

    Expected Behavior:

    Home > Live Followed Channels should include....uhhh, all of the channels that I follow that are live.

    Actual Behavior:

    Home > Live Followed Channels shows me a random set of the channels that I follow that are live. What channels are shown is almost inversely proportional to how often I watch said channels. The count of the channels shown in this section is also random. Sometimes 7, sometimes 4, just all over the place.

    In order to actually see "Live followed channels", I have to navigate to "Following" > "Live Followed Channels". Not only is this an extra step (that can be super laggy if the internet is being slow, since you're forcibly preloading every g*dd*mn stream I focus the selector on in the background), but makes no sense. As a section header, "Live Followed Channels" is unequivocal in what it describes. If there is some qualifer being placed on this header when on the Home tab, the Home tab should either call that out with a different header title, or the Home tab needs to be renamed to something more indicative that the feed is being built by some terrible algorithm or whatever is happening.

    I am being charitable by assuming this is unintended behavior. If it is not, I would kindly, but firmly suggest, you get out of my way in viewing content so I can actually watch streamers I pay for (and hence you for) or watching ads for content (which you also get paid for).

20. Allow access to more recent videos/streams

    Currently, through the TV app for LG webOS, recent videos/broadcasts are limited to 12 videos only ("all videos" and "recent broadcasts" tab).
    I would like to know if it is possible to release access to older videos, like in the Android app.
    This way we can watch it on TV, which is much better.
