Allow people to use USB keyboards with smart TVS to chat in addition to mobile phones. I own a device called a Rii mini keyboard, and I want to use that to chat on Twitch through my smart TV, in addition to my phone. My phone's keyboard isn't intuitive enough for me to have maximum control over keystrokes, and I would like the 2nd option I mentioned above to become available.

Latency Native TV apps on TV sadly don't have low-latency (LG, Samsung, Sony f.e.). The purpose for Twitch is to talk/play/react directly to the livestream,but it's impossible. The time between livestream and reaction usually is up to 10 seconds plus the time you need to answer. This creates a time window where the community is out of sync which leads to chaos, so it's sadly not enjoyable to watch Twitch over TV.
This also creates a cycle of spending even more energy than usually needed - smartphone + TV vs. PC + TV. That's an additional 180-300W just for talking and…

italian version button bug during a live stream, the button “join the conversation” on the bottom of the live chat is translated in “partecipa alla conversazione”, which stretches over the maximum width of the button, causing it to not see the full text and the icon in the button. Thanks!

several streams just stop after a few seconds... With xiaomi TV stick Twitch keeps getting paused after several seconds, and can’t be played anymore, reloading will resulting the same result, stream will paused after several seconds
Note: there’s no issue with my internet because on my laptop or on my phone it’s running normally
Repro step:
Open a twitch stream (e.g: esport2tv)
Wait several seconds
The stream paused, and can’t be played anymore

Live followed channels does not appear on left side panel. In the past it has been super nice and convenient to switch which of my followers I am watching as they go live, switch games, etc.
Since stories have been pushed more, the list of streamers I follow has completely disappeared. Replaced by an "Open Stories" option alone. This is on a firefox browser. I don't care about the inferior algorithmically generated "Recommended channel" option either. The recommendations are always awful there.4 votes -
Twitch app not respecting picture settings on Sony Bravia Android TV I'd really like to use Twitch's Android TV app on my Sony Bravia TV (VH21) but there seems to be a problem with the picture quality. None of the picture settings affect the app, for example, nothing happens when I toggle between the local dimming settings. On a LCD TV, this particular setting is perhaps the most important for good picture quality. Older versions of the app were not affected by this bug. As a consequence the picture in Twitch ends up looking rather mediocre. Every other app works fine.
Please fix ASAP.

If you show a partial list of live streamers in carousels, indicate that there are more streamers currently live and offer a link. On the latest version of the Apple TV Twitch app, the main carousel currently only shows a limited number of live streamers, but gives no indication if there are other streamers currently live. You have to navigate to a different tab to see all live streams from streamers you currently follow.
Either show all live streamers in the main carousel or indicate that you are not showing all currently live streams and offer a link to see all live streams for streamers I follow.
Better yet, provide a multi-row grid, so I don't have to scroll far to the left…

2024 Samsung Smart Tv Hi,
I would like to report a problem with the Twitch app on my Samsung Smart TV DU8070 (running Tizen OS).Live streams freeze after about 20 minutes of watching.
I've been using the app for 2 months and have been experiencing the same issue consistently. The problem temporarily resolves when I exit the live stream and re-enter it, but then the stream freezes again after about 20 minutes (however, when the stream freezes, the chat continues to work).What I've tried to solve the problem (but didn't help):
- clearing the cache

tvOS 17.6 Twitch App Problems Updated my AppleTV yesterday and I am still experiencing audio lags and studdering on wifi and ethernet. One of the streamers I watch I can only watch them with the chat on the side open not in full screen mode. If I close the chat then full screen mode is in slow mode.

4:3 Aspect Ratio stream support This is not limited to just one app. It's the same across Android TV, Chromecast, Xbox, and Playstation.
A year ago or so the app used to display streams that weren't 16:9 correctly. Then an update happened and all of the apps started to stretch 4:3 streams to fit. This makes a lot of the screen unviewable.
Fortunately there is a work around, but it's annoying, opening chat on the right makes the stream display perfectly.
Initially I reported this as a bug, and was directed here to have my bug fix voted on by popularity contest. I don't think…

Allow Raid on LG TV When I’m watching a streamer on my LG TV and they raid someone it doesn’t automatically work the way it does on my iPad. Not sure if there is a way to do it manually but it would be nice if it worked as seamlessly as on my iPad.

Agregar pestaña "seguir viendo" y poder ver directos subidos de hace mas de 10 dias de otros streamers Agregar pestaña "seguir viendo", ya que esta actualmente solo aparece en movil y PC, ademas tambien poder ver directos subidos de hace mas de 10 dias de otros streamers, ya que al parecer hay un limite de los directos que aparecen para poder ver cuando entras en el perfil del streamer, aunque tenga 40 directos subidos solo aparecen un tope de 10 directos que puedes ver, por lo que si quieres ver un directo que no aparece hay, tienes que buscarlo manualmente en el buscador por el titulo y demas.

Disable chat function Give us the ability to disable the chat so that it doesn't take up any bandwidth, hiding it isn't good enough when there are too many people in chat. Especially on TVs which aren't powerful enough to handle several thousand idiots spamming emotes.
