BRING BACK THE OLD TWITCH APP APPLICATION Hello Twitch,
You all should really bring back how the Twitch app application was before it was updated to how it is now currently.
The older app was better than what it currently is now, now it isn’t good at all.
You literally cannot type in chat, it doesn’t add to your accounts watch time, it honestly doesn’t even recognize you’re watching even if you’re logged in to your account as a whole (meaning you’re never in viewer list).
Before the app updated to the c**** it is now, you could type, it added to your watch time, and it…

Tv station on cable I was thinking lately i might get rid of some of my streaming services for cable again for background noise around my place. I use twitch a lot for background noise. So I was thinking yall could bid for a cable channel or a few of them if its works out. Sort of like the home page carousel is. You apply/yall reach out to certain streamers, and they can get aired on that cable station. Twitch Live on Cable. or somthin, TLC kek. My thoughts is that it can pull in new people onto the site. If you randomly start…

App notification Twitch app notifications
Please let us control the app notifications when user go live on twitch instead of having your system control it automatically and turn it off because this hurts twitch streamer and it hurts them so bad that this will make it impossible to get lots of fan and followers this makes it where you lose lots of viewers and it will affect you from trying to get to affiliate.3 votes -

Pause Pause. Currently the TV App is unresponsive to pause inputs. The site has pause, the mobile app has pause, and it's a very weird choice to leave it out of the TV app.

Allow bluetooth keyboard use in TV apps without going through mobile Have the option to use a bluetooth keyboard on the Twitch Fire TV app (and other apps) instead of the "Join the conversation" button below the chat that brings up a mobile QR code.

Fix WebOS app store settings to release on 3rd-party TVs For some reason the app is not available on 3rd-party WebOS TVs. I have a budget TV with WebOS 5.4, a Dyon "Smart-43-X-EOS". This and even older versions are nominally supported. And since there's only a handful of apps missing (of 2k+) compared to an official LG TV, I believe this not to be an intentional limitation or software/hardware issue, but rather some issue with your LG Content Store app configuration. Please look into this.

(Hisense) TV app: Multi-Profile Option request Please add the ability to have multiple profiles logged into the Twitch app like other streaming platforms have (Netflix, Prime, YouTube, etc). That way households that have multiple profiles can easily switch between Twitch profiles without all the annoying logging in and out.

LG WebOS app: no sound on HEVC stream One of my followed streamer started encoding their own stream using h.265 (hevc), in the twitch webos app the video freezes, but if I change the quality from auto to anything else then the video starts eith no sound.
I’ve contacted the support but received the same template answer again and again…The tv is an oled cx series tv, the twitch website from the browser plays the hevc stream without any issue (other than loading being ultra slow), my tv also can play h.265 media.
I’ve sent video to the support, my case number: 08922645

Improve / Fix The Apple TV app (the new version that rolled out a while ago) was a downgrade in every sense.
After all this time nothing has gotten better.
Why can’t I see all the channels I follow in Home > Live Followed Channels? Yet see them all in Following > Live Followed Channels.
Why do I see channels I follow in the Home > Live Channels We Think You’ll Like.
Why is Live Chat still borked?
How is this helping?
Is the goal to drive away people?
Do you think this’ll make people by a Fire TV stick? (No).

Twitch app not supported on lg tv Dear twitch!
Would you be so kind to please write a statement or something, that you support the app on certain tvs, or you dont. I wrote to your support where they said the problem is with lg tv, as they stopped the supporting of the twitch app, while lgs support said you guys stopped the support on it, and not them. Either way its frustrating, and funny, since even after a factory reset i have the app preinstalled. Yet i cant use it because it loads in everything perfectly, but then it decides after everything is loaded, that my…

Twitch integrated on projectors I thought of this while I was slicing up a ribeye roast to store for later. I wanted to watch a twitch stream on my projector, I was going to set it up with casting but it was to far from my PC.
Twitch should start adding there app onto projectors. My new on Auking is great, it auto focuses, bright in light. Has netflix/youtube integrated. I thought it would be a good idea to get twitch integrated with these projectors. It would be advertisement, even if people never watched twitch, its a free app that you don't have to…
