Screen Chat Refresh When I'm moderating a channel the new delete option in the mod tools marks it up as deleted in the Android app but it doesn't delete it from the active chat when viewed from other devices it remains on the TV App screen as not deleted same as when I ban a user from the chat it sometimes says "this user has been banned" in the chat and other times it doesn't but still the banned message remains on screen.

Add an option to merge VODS from the twitch website. some streamers have bad internet, One stream of mine has a 2 minute stream and a 5 hour stream. These are messy and sometimes confusing for the streamer and viewers. It would be great to have an option to merge the 2 together to have one clean VOD.

Proposal: Open Source TV Apps The TV Twitch apps, such as the Chromecast app, have not seen maintenance in quite a while and are in need of a maintainer. There are various issues with the TV apps such as unsupported new features, stream delay, etc. It may be best to distribute this work to the community by open sourcing the codebases for these apps, with Twitch staff managing only review and deployments. This would allow for developers like myself to improve the Twitch user experience on TV based Twitch apps.

The Samsung/Tizen app is the worst app I've experienced The app is so broken, I don't even know how it's possible. Going to 1440p freezes the video. Can't see chat on VOD. The player doesn't bring you back to where you stopped watching a VOD. Picking a quality brings you back to auto or a worse quality most of the time on its own for whatever reason.
Every single update makes it worse.

Can you guys just vibecode a proper Apple TV app already? You guys obviously don’t give two sh*ts about it so can you just give it to an intern with a Claude code subscription and just get them to fix it over a weekend or two?
Just ask one of the 20+ modern AI coding agents to implement a few things like proper tvOS playback APIs, use modern video codecs, make the Following tab UI horizontally load more than 10 followed channels at a time, and add OLED display features for starters. Maybe even make scrubbing long VODs not feel like performing surgery on an ant. It probably wouldn’t be worse…

roku twitch used to have a roku app… now it’s just gone. what happened to it?
y’all on basically every platform—phones, consoles, smart TVs—but somehow not on roku, and that’s one of the most used streaming devices. that don’t make sense.
right now if someone got roku, they stuck screen mirroring or using some random third-party app that barely works or just breaks. that’s a bad experience and it just makes people not even wanna watch.
there’s a lot of people using roku as they main setup, so not having a real app means you missing out on viewers and watch…

Twitch app on Vidaa OS (Hisense) Hello Twitch !
It would be great if Vidaa OS users (owners of a Hisense TV in this case) could benefit from the Twitch application on their television. Unfortunately the app was never released in Vidaa OS, and this is annoying for those who love watching streams on their couch.

2K support in TV app Some Twitch streamers broadcast in 2K. Please add 2K resolution to the Twitch TV app as most people have a 4K TV. Currently you can only do 1080P as the highest resolution.

Recently updated to WebOS25 on my LG OLED C3 and I can't watch Twitch streams anymore, no matter the quality or the stream, from 160p to 1080p60, it FREEZES CONSTANTLY, like every 2 seconds it freezes for 1 second, it's unwatchable, please fix the bug, thank you.2 votes -
Upgrade Apple TV app The Apple TV app had a downgrade. It no longer shows the chat history for VOD. Please return this functionality.

tv when you log in to your account from the tv QR code that you scan on mobile, have it send you into the app directly instead of being sent to browser, where one might not be logged in because they have the app on their phone instead. That way, the user does not have to log on into "two new" locations every time.

Audio delay on Google TV OS Please fix the audio delay on Google TV OS. I have a TCL 65C61B and the audio delay in the app, at around 150ms, seriously degrades the viewer experience, especially when watching esports. I cancelled my Turbo subscription because of this. The issue does not appear in the YouTube app.

Lg app is a nightmare to use The LG WebOS app is a total disaster. I have a C1, maybe it's only on this model, I don't know, but the app is SO slow, sometime don't even responding when I click on my remote. There is a huge latency (comparing to other app and Web) please if someone still working on this app fix as mich as possible. It's a noghtmare to browse there...

webOS Twitch app crashes after 5-30s After starting watching 5-30s most of the streams the app restarts. This happened only in some streams a few months ago and now it happens almost every stream. No error message is displayed. I have tried full restart of the tv, setting lower quality for stream, dns server to 8.8.8.8 and reinstalling the app. Nothing has worked so far. Some people are suggesting this is a new codec issue but its just a guess.

You all should really bring back how the Twitch app application was before it was updated to how it is now currently.
The older app was better than what it currently is now, now it isn’t good at all.
You literally cannot type in chat, it doesn’t add to your accounts watch time, it honestly doesn’t even recognize you’re watching even if you’re logged in to your account as a whole (meaning you’re never in viewer list).
