Overlay is stuck Chromecast app. The overlay with Settings, Streamer info, etc. doesn't go away. And there is no button to to make the overlay go away.

Improve back press behaviour during playback The current behavior when pressing back during playback is bad. It just closes the content immediately, regardless of whether the player overlay is visible or not.
For usability to prevent accidentally closing the content, during playback the stream/VoD should only be closed when pressing back twice in a row, so:
- If playback overlay is visible, pressing back once should hide the overlay, pressing back again should close content. This is what the native AppleTV+ app does.

Bug: Not showing live followed channels on homepage [LG webOS app] I only follow 1 twitch channel (HasanAbi) and when the channel is live, there’s nothing on the homepage about it. Instead it shows “Live Channels We Think You May Like”.
This is poor UX and requires extra clicks to get to the main content people want.
I don’t open twitch app to discover new content. I primarily open it to tune into a subscribed stream.

Android TV app and streams smoothness Streams aren't smooth and keep flickering when compared for example to transmitting from the phone to the Android TV device. The app is also still buggy.

Allow access to more recent videos/streams Currently, through the TV app for LG webOS, recent videos/broadcasts are limited to 12 videos only ("all videos" and "recent broadcasts" tab).
I would like to know if it is possible to release access to older videos, like in the Android app.

Lives travando por causa do chat muito movimentado Enquanto assisto na Twitch alguns streamers que tem um chat bastante movimentado, o aplicativo da Twitch na TV, no meu caso uso a LG TV, acaba travando e nem sequer consigo sair da live. Queria dar uma sugestão sobre isso, para aqueles dispositivos que sofre com esse mesmo problema, poderia adicionar uma opção como "desativar chat" para que possamos assistir sem interrupções por conta do chat movimentado e possamos desfrutar a live sem travamentos, fora esse travamento, acho a Twitch perfeita pra assistir as lives que eu gosto.

Android TV App is really bad It stutters, won't play 1080p or 60fps, the interface is very slow and laggy. The app used to be very good, what happened. This web-interface-api-nonsense has to stop. It crashes or stops mid-stream, if the stream starts in the first place. On my PS5, at least the picture quality is good (1080 60p), but it is also unstable and stops streams that work on my phone. Make a native app again, like on my phone.

tvOS app video continues to cut out on vods When watching any vod on the tvOS app, the video will cut out for a bit, but the audio will keep going. Then the video comes back and speeds up as to “catch up” to the audio. This has been reported on here and I see many people have had the same issue when just doing an internet search.

Raid Trains Shouldn't Fail on AppleTV I have a PC and AppleTV in the same room. 100% of the time, Raids will fail to move channels on the AppleTV. Please investigate so AppleTV will follow a Raid to the raided channel and not leave us abandoned on the original channel. I think this is why we are seeing so many incomplete raids and hosts are trying to send Raid 'shuttles' when they notice only 95% of their viewership correctly raided over to the new channel.

Captions Look. It’s 2023. Why the heck do we not have captions on the AppleTV app?
I have to stream from my phone, which is annoying, and if I’m not home, no one else can do it.

Quality option resetting back to "Auto" LG WebOS, forcing quality option does not work and it resets back to auto low quality and buffers
Please make it so there's an option that all streams start at max quality is instead of auto
Even after selecting 1080p on a channel, each time you come back you have to reselect the option, which does not even work as it resets to auto

Google TV App roll back My google tv updated the twitch app. The new UI is ugly, not user-friendly, lags a lot, the quality is worse, and I can't send emotes on my TV anymore. I have no idea how this change went through. Please roll back to a previous version.

Revert Android TV update or re-add removed features The most recent update to the Android TV version of the app is lacking in functionality and preformance. The app was visually more appealing before as well as having better functionality and quality of streams.
The decision to completely remove the ability to chat via the app is poorly thought out at best, and plain lazy at worst. On my Nvidia Shield I have the ability to use voice to text and to connect an external keyboard to type. vods Your recent update to the TV apps seems to have removed the 'continue watching' section and also the ability to browse past a few days of past broadcasts from streamers. I would recommend bringing these back as for a lot of us we cannot watch live and so catch up on VODs and also like the ability to go back to video's that we have not completed yet. With the apps the way they are now I do not find them usable.

Quality of life fixes How much money does this platform need to make to fix all of their bugs on their app and website. I swear twitch has the most annoying little bugs on their platform than any other streaming service. Sound not syncing properly, casting sometimes working sometimes not, random crashes, ect. its not like they're a small indie company, multi-million dollar company with hundreds if not thousands of in house staff raking in crazy profits from sponsors and streamers but cant fix simple quality of life bugs.

Add 1440p resolution playback to Apple TV app Please add the ability to watch 1440p streams to Apple TV's app.
The other day a stream was going at 1440p@60, and was able to watch at this resolution on the iPhone app, iPad app and PC browsers. The highest resolution offered from the Apple TV app was 720p.
It's not a device capability issue, as the TV and Apple TV device can play at 4K@60 no issues. YouTube videos and live streams can play at 1440p@60 without issue.
