Can we get a fishing category picture? Can we get a fishing category picture? The default picture is a game controller, there are two fishing categories both have the default picture, makes it hard to find and get the right one when streaming and searching. Help Real Life Fishing grow on Twitch.

Video editing as a stream category I think it'd be cool for people to learn more about the post-production side of videos! It'd get more people into editing if bigger people stream it, it can give more motivation for smaller creators, and it could even lead to a possible career, plus: if someone streams it, their chat could recommend jokes or point out smaller things that the streamer didn't notice!

Filter out Top Channels based on category feedback I have set some categories to not recommend for me. When I go to Browse Live Channels I see channels with those categories and I think that should be filtered out based on the category recommendation settings on the account.

Channel Category: Education Putting this idea through since the last one was marked as complete in 2022 but isn’t actually available to use.
A request to put a new category called “Education” in.
We have great categories like software technology or science, but sometimes we want to educate or run a workshop that doesn’t fall into a specific category listed.
Whether it’s streamed workshops, someone teaching a subject they love and are passionate about, or just a bunch of our educational friends sharing our crafts this could allow for something a bit more interactive that isn’t just “Just Chatting” or “Talk Shows and…

"Not interested" option unavailable on promoted streams As reported on reddit [1] a stream that is in a promoted state (I believe this is the community reward boost thing?) doesn't have a Not interested option.
Could this please be added?

Fix Pokemon Directories I saw it was marked as "Completed" that the pokemon directories were fixed but they really are not.
Can you please merge Red/Blue/Yellow, Gold/Silver/Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Diamond,Pearl, Platinum:
Some are still completely on their own and are even missing the cover images from the recent changes. (Look at Let's Go Pikachu for reference)37 votes -
Add a filter to sort by country I think many people is interested in watching streamers from their own country if possible, but if you try to search streamers sorting by country...well bad luck, that option doesn´t exist.
The best part of this idea, is that it doesn´t require a lot of work, because i 100% think Twitch already has data of streamers by country, so it is an inexpensive and easy idea to implement.37 votes -
Category New Category: 3D Printing.
3D Printing streams have consumed the Makers & Crafting section on Twitch making the category painful to scroll through to find anything that isn't a 3D printer stream. Can they please get their own category?

Add Virtuoso VR as a game category Game by Really Interactive called Virtuoso is missing on game categories
Currently players are streaming under another game with the same name but this is incorrect - https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Virtuoso.

Change the Model from Game > Stream to Genre > Game_Genre > Game > Stream + Sorting options Hi,
Currently the model for viewing games in the directory is difficult to traverse as a user. I scroll through looking for quirky titles or just genres that I'm only interested in i.e. FPS, Strategy or DeathMatch, Horror etc and instead of it being this lovely categorized experience I feel like i'm on an endless scrolling journey.
As the title suggests, my suggestion is having the option to break the model into the following:
Genre > Game_Genre > Game > Stream
This way I can go from say FPS > Horror > SpookyFps3 > MrHorrorTV
Plus an additional nice option…

More help for newer streamers More help with pushing viewers towards newer people, maybe incentives for them to watch. Include smaller streamers into events and such to help get their names out?

Sort view count from low to high For some of us, it's difficult to follow anyone who has a higher follower count, because they always come at the top of the follow list, and we have to scroll all the way down to find anyone who needs support. Which is a problem. You can sort by high views to low, but not from low to high, and looking through a large list when trying to raid is obnoxious. We want to be able to easily find people who are not getting a lot of views so we can properly support them and raid out in a timely…

Slavic Twitch Guild Twitch should consider establishing a "Slavic Twitch Guild" to represent a significantly underrepresented community on the platform.
This initiative should encompass all Slavic peoples, including:
East Slavs: Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine.
West Slavs: Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia.
South Slavs: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.Creating this guild could enhance awareness and educate others about the rich diversity of Slavic cultures, countries, and languages. There is a common misconception that Russia is the sole representative of Slavic heritage; it is essential to challenge these stereotypes and promote a broader understanding of the Slavic identity.

New Category: Breaking I would love to see "Breaking" added as it's own category. It would have dual positivity as breakers wouldn't be limited to listing their streams in the most popular categories (usually IRL or Pokemon Trading Card Game, even when most stores carry a lot more than just Pokemon now), and the card game categories would become a more targeted/enjoyable experience for viewers looking to watch live matches of their favorite TCG.
Twitch added a category for Hot Tubs & Pools because it took over the IRL category, this is basically the same situation on a smaller scale. :)

Racing category needs an icon A few of us cover motorsport related events (news, watch alongs, highlights, discussion), but we don't fit in well with Sports or Just Chatting. Since the 'Racing' category already exists, why not give it an icon (plus any other info, search terms, etc that is the standard)?

Combine SpellForce 3 and SpellForce III: Reforced game categories SpellForce 3 is now a game with a shared launcher, and everyone can play together. Please combine the two categories so as to not dilute viewership.
