New Category: 3D Printing.
3D Printing streams have consumed the Makers & Crafting section on Twitch making the category painful to scroll through to find anything that isn't a 3D printer stream. Can they please get their own category?
I cannot upvote this suggestion enough. I'm a maker & crafter primarily and it is so hard to find someone in the community to raid at the end of a stream because, as the original poster said, the category is littered with 3D printing streams.
Please, please, please, consider this suggestion
Dear Twitch Team,
I wanted to share a suggestion regarding the categorization of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) streams on Twitch.
Currently, all GTA content, including GTA V, GTA Online, and GTA RP, is bundled under a single category - 'GTA V.' While this has its merits, it can be limiting for both streamers and viewers who prefer specific types of GTA content.
I propose the implementation of three separate categories: 'GTA V,' 'GTA Online,' and 'GTA RP.' This segmentation would greatly enhance the user experience on Twitch.
Here's why it's beneficial:
Clarity: Viewers can easily find the type of GTA content they're interested in without sifting through unrelated streams.
Support for Diverse Creators: It allows streamers to reach their intended audience more effectively, whether they focus on story mode, online gameplay, or role-playing.
Enhanced Engagement: Communities can form around each category, fostering more targeted discussions and interactions.
I believe this change would not only streamline the GTA streaming experience on Twitch but also benefit both creators and viewers alike.
Please please please. If I am looking for a "maker or crafter" I do not want to be inundated by unattended printers. I get that some people may like to watch printers run or whatever but if they want to see that then they should definitely have their own category so they are easier to find. With how many printers are on the platform it makes it almost impossible to find an actual crafter life because I have to scroll through the 75-90% of the category sometimes to find a non-printing stream.
*Note that by "painful" I only mean hard to find anything easily that isn't a 3D printing stream. Most of these streams are just left unattended; running 24 hours. There are so many within the Makers & Crafting section now that they take up well over 80% of the category at any given time. I just feel like if a certain type of stream begins to take over an entire category that it deserves to have its own. Giving them their own category would also make it easier for people to find them as I have also seen them spread out in the Art category as well as Just Chatting.
