Stream Filters Hide certain stream categories, simple, there are categories/subcategories(filters like games, language etc all the categories that are currently available) out there that i never watch and am not interested in, an option to hide those would make my browsing experience a lot better
Thanks in advance, keep up the good work
PS hide specific streamers would be nice too27 votes -
3d printing I think it'd be great for 3d printing to have its own section so they can be easily found by people that like to watch it!

Live2D Cubism There are multiple streamers working on Live2D cubism (software suite and modeling tool used to animate flat, 2D illustrations so they move with 3D-like depth and fluidity, without requiring frame-by-frame redrawing or a full 3D model.), in the art or just chatting category.
It would be nice to have a category for the specific program.26 votes -
Being Able To Follow Stream Teams It would be nice if we could follow stream teams so there could be a link on the front page or a tab on the Following Page with "Teams You Follow" and we could click directly on a link for that team (for example the Twitch Black Guild or the Bussey Bunch or any other stream team that we want to follow) and see who is live directly instead of having to head to the specific teams page for that team manually to see who is live from that team.

Console Challenge On Twitch over the last couple of years the idea and concept of a 'Console Challenge' has been around.
The general concept of a 'Console Challenge' is when an individual or a group of people get together to try an 'beat' or get to the credits of every game in a consoles library.
The general streaming category for most console Challenge runners is either using the 'Retro' section of twitch, or streaming in the games own category.
As a console challenger myself, over the last year or so the concept and idea has been getting more interest as more find…

Sidebar Sorting needs "Viewers (Low to High)" as an option. I saw that this got recently updated, and now has a "Recommended for You" option which just seems to be random (probably yet another dumb algorithm for streamers to figure out.) And there's an option to sort "Viewers (High to Low)" as it was before this feature was introduced. Why can't we sort Viewers (Low to High) though? If you can sort High to Low, why not the opposite? I'm still going to have to scroll down to find smaller streamers I want to support anyway, and the "Recommended" sorting order just makes them harder to find, if anything.
It…

easier method to remove inactive streamer's that we follow With twitch having a following limit and eventually everyone will hit the cap at some point there should be an easier way to manage and get rid of who we follow, more so for when we want to mass remove a lot of channels that arent active anymore. either a better UI that shows us who we follow with an easy follow/unfollow button along their name or an option or automatic process that removes people who havent streamed in 6-12 months

Keyword/Exact Search options like Google, Exact keyword, contains etc.
Also an idea is filters, like platform, time zone, game, country etc.

Just Dance 2023 & 2024 (and beyond) being named to "Just Dance" Upon the Launch of Just Dance 2023 Edition, they switched to a new engine and that is officially the main Just Dance. If you look at the title screen, the game is just called "Just Dance". 2023 & 2024 are "Song Packs" for the base game. Since they drop song packs every year now, it keeps splitting the viewerbase more and more due to it being marked as separate games. We would like the possibility to merge Just Dance 2023 & 2024 categories and call it "Just Dance" instead. This game is the last in the series and will just…

Add a general Star Wars category. We would love to see a general Star Wars category where all fans doing all things Star Wars related could stream in that category. For example, playing SWTOR? You could stream in that category. Star Wars cosplayers could stream in the category. Other Star Wars games, same thing. The Star Wars game viewership isn't as large as other categories, but Star Wars content combined could be something great. We'd love to see this happen so we could help the games get more traffic and meet a lot more Star Wars nerds. ;o) Thanks!

Stop the missuse of the "I'm Only Sleeping" -category In the community guidelines, it's pointed out that streaming under the wrong category is against the rules of the platform as quoted here:
"You are expected to accurately label your content to the best of your ability." (...) "Deliberate or extensive misuse of titles, tags, games/categories, or other metadata are prohibited."
Since sleeping has become a part of the content people are making, a new problem has become apparent. Years ago when the community asked Twitch, which category you could stream sleeping under, the community was told, that you should remove your streaming category when you're asleep on stream.Recently…

Autism Awareness Twitch supports Autism Awareness using Game On but if we had streamers on the spectrum featured on the front page that might help encourage and empower others with similar experiences and struggles.
Featuring our lovely streamers that are on the spectrum on the front page for Autism Awareness Month or, at the very least, Autism Awareness Day, would pair perfectly with charities and with helping boost those that do have Autism and prove that we love and support our neurodivergent streamers!

Return Final Fantasy V to being one category Especially with a major charity drive, the Four Job Fiesta, coming up and focusing on this game, there is literally no reason for Final Fantasy V to have two exactly duplicated game listings on Twitch - but it will harm viewership to have followers randomly being split between two listings.
This is barely even a suggestion, it's just a straight up bug to have a literal duplicate category. Please just fix this.

Stop Showing Followed Channels in the "Live Channels We Think You'll Like" Section If I follow a channel already, why does it continuously show up in the "Live Channels We Think You'll Like" section? What about this makes sense?
Please adjust your algorithm to remove already followed channels from this area and show non-followed channels only.

I would like to see Nightshade for PlayStation 2 added to the game categories. I would like to see Nightshade for the PlayStation 2 added to the game categories tags. I’ve see so many random obscure tags for games with little to no following. Even fan made homebrew games. But for some reason, this one is absent. People stream it from time to time, but have to use the wrong tag for it. I have streamed it before, and would like to again. Please consider adding this game to the list.

Unity Guild Development for Non-Binary/Gender Non Conforming Creators Hello,
We have been delighted by the launch of the Unity Guild Program a year and a half ago, and it has been an excellent means for underrepresented communities to have a voice in the Twitch Community.
We feel like the Non-Binary population is a natural addition to this roster, as there are a number of us who stream on twitch. Our identity makes us a target for harassment and hate raids from those browsing tags, and having larger community support from Twitch would be an amazing push to connect us with each other and help us provide a stronger…

What is your plan to help with discoverability for non gaming streamers? I’d love to know more about non-gaming expansion and support. Is this an area you are looking to expand in or are you keeping it focused with gaming content? Also are there any plans to offer more breakdowns instead of “Just Chatting” such as Workshops?
Sincerely, thegreatkind

Request for a dedicated category or Freestyle Rap/ Improv Request for a Dedicated “Freestyle Rap / Improv” Category on Twitch
Description:
Freestyle rap has been an active, evolving, and highly engaging form of live content on Twitch—long before the pandemic sparked a wave of digital creativity. I personally launched my freestyle series in December 2019 under the name Scessions, and since then, the community has exploded.
Freestyling is not just a genre—it’s a live artform that combines music, improv, community engagement, and creativity in real-time. It blends well with Twitch’s interactive spirit and deserves its own official category to increase discoverability, support creators, and grow a thriving culture.
