Promoted streams are biased towards one aspect... but not enough of the other. Regarding the Promoted/Boosted streams, given the clear preference Twitch has on new partners and content, can we atleast have some diversity on which streams are picked to show on our sidebars, based on personal preference? Because I often get streams with good-looking girls and a certain specific appeal and I never get streams with good-looking guys and that same exact certain appeal and while I'm certainly interested in both, I'd like in a balanced way, in the right doses, because some of us, let's say, play for both teams! And I'm sure there are others with preferences that are different…

Youtube So lately, one of the top streamed content(from what I've seen) is streamers reacting to YouTube videos. What if you could do business with YouTube to have it when Streamers watch these videos, the viewer count from the stream is contributed towards that 1 view from the streamer. Also maybe you could imbed some way to have an Ad play on the side that one would've seen if they clicked on the video themselves.
Then again, idk all of the legal stuff and such that would have to take place. Also it's probably way more complex to have done than…

Add Scheduled Streams to Game's Browse Page Now that Twitch has in-platform scheduling, can we also have upcoming scheduled streams show up on the Browse page for specific games? This might require the initial development/implementation of the Calendar Schedule system being discussed.

Add filtering by tag to endpoints that return streams (Get Streams, Search Channels) We can get stream tags, but we can not filter streams by a tag ID. However it can be easily done from the official app. Like to get streams tagged as "Family Friendly" or "Squads", or "Mode: Battle Royale" etc.
Please provide API for 3d party developers :)

Create a song-competition.live category there is a new updated version of the existing songbattle.live website which is already a category. It includes many new features and is meanwhile more often used then the old one. unfortunately there isnt a category for this, maybe we could change that.

Turn off View Count for a Day and move channels from the bottom to the top. I would like to see Twitch stick to their word when it comes to being a community for all and not just for the "Top" streamers.
I believe by turning off the viewer count for the public however maybe leave it in our panel, we would see a range of viewers going to new channels they never visited before. It would also help to see Twitch shift around the top streamers or channels from the bottom to the top to allow more visibility.
Twitch could call it a Twitch Black Out and I believe it would help to bring the…

is there a way to some how better organize the chat area to find a streamer? Is there a way to some how better organize the Recommended chat areas while searching for a streamer. I spent nearly an hour trying to find some one in both Just Chatting and also Food and Drink to find certain streamers, but seemingly there is no organization in either area. Is it possible to either alphabetize/search by user name or by listing viewer counts from highest to lowest in the Recommended for you areas? It is very frustrating to find someone when it is not alphabetized or listed by viewer count.
For example, the first streamer name in a given…

Per-Console/Platform Meta-Categories Every console and platform should have its own category, especially older ones.
If you look at Retro right now, you'll find over 20 years of games represented because "Retro" is a poorly-defined term- it means something different to everyone. For many people that makes it fairly useless for discovering new interesting streamers.
Conversely, people generally know what Atari 2600, SNES, PSP, Dreamcast, etc. are, so it would be nice if streamers didn't need to resort to the punt category and getting buried in the noise (which sucks to sift through as much as it sucks to be stuck in). This…

Better discoverability on twitch My concept is to put more discoverability on the platform by putting a button along side the notification and follow button when viewing a stream and will pop of a side menu of creators that are like the channel you are currently watching. However it is setup that while you are browsing you are not missing any moment from your favorite creator. I demonstrated this concept in a YouTube video of mine: https://youtu.be/4ERv5dqNMZ4

New and Upcoming Streamers Tab I was just thinking about an idea that would probably help people who are new to streaming on Twitch to have a tab list of New and upcoming streamers who have like 100 followers or less to see an entire list of new streamers who haven't had that many followers to be easily seen to give chance for them to be noticed by channels who have slightly bigger followership and viewership. This would give new streamers a chance of being noticed and checked out, and also gives opportunity for bigger channels to drop them a raid too, because part of…

Blur Previews of Streamers with Partially Exposed Breasts There are many streamers that have their breasts partially exposed, with an excessive amount of cleavage, which is not appropriate for all end users.
The feature request involves a Blurred Preview for these streamers, and the enforcement of the "Mature Content Filter".
This would allow Twitch users to be able to choose the type of content they are exposed to, instead of the select few streamers forcing this content upon all users. It should also enable other streamers, that offer more 'wholesome content' greater success on your platform, and as part of the Twitch Community.
