New and Upcoming Streamers Tab
I was just thinking about an idea that would probably help people who are new to streaming on Twitch to have a tab list of New and upcoming streamers who have like 100 followers or less to see an entire list of new streamers who haven't had that many followers to be easily seen to give chance for them to be noticed by channels who have slightly bigger followership and viewership. This would give new streamers a chance of being noticed and checked out, and also gives opportunity for bigger channels to drop them a raid too, because part of being a community is supporting each other on the platform, and sometimes we just want to help out these smaller channels and give them a little boost.
Having connections, and friends to come watch your streams is nice and all, but in the grand scheme of things doesn't really do much for growth on the platform. It would also make new streamers less discouraged by their growth on the platform not feeling like it's going anywhere, and being stuck with low viewer counts. So make a list of 100 New streamers or something like that.

Create a separate browsing and search tab for "New and Small Streamers" you can find these streamers out by using our analytics that you already have after we stream. For example, you put people who stream an average of 15 hours a week and have a consistent viewership of like I don't know 10 viewers each stream and you filter them into this new search tab. This is so that users will easily be able to find new and small streamers who are also consistent and hard working. There's been so many times where I have to sit and go through so many channels to find a small streamer who is GRINDING and I feel like this would help a lot. Not only for the streamers and viewers but also for the company. So many people complain about how the discovery on just Twitch alone is worse than it has been in the past due to the saturation that the site has now, and sadly that is true. But it doesn't have to be and I believe this idea could help that a lot.

I think this is a good idea if it filters only channels with less than X followers IF they have been live for X amount of times in the past week/month. There are many channels below 100 followers that hardly ever stream and I don't think that channels that only stream once every 3 months should be recommended.

This would be really useful for smaller streamers that get lost in the world of twitch. I like this idea.

This is very true and would be great! I was going through and looking at the total audience community for Gears 5 and the max is like 2.4K viewers. That is insignificant when compared to Fortnite at 153K viewers. So having something to help create incentive for viewers across the community to tune in would be really helpful.
