pin I would like the option to better format the pinned messages. For example being able to list a few bulletpoints. Right now it clumps it all together no matter what and that makes the message not come across that well. Or some other way longer messages could be shared with good visibility.

No more reverse chat in Twitch! Windows 11, Google Chrome, When I Alt tab, then go back to the chrome window with twitch, text it typed backwards in the chat box. It would be nice if this didn't happen. it only happens with twitch and not other websites. It's not related to ctrl+shift, and its not related to related to the insert key. Pls Fix!

Chat Highlighted Messages Currently there is a chat highlight setting for raiders, my idea is adding an individual highlight for the person who sent the raid. I've been raided a few times and lost the raid sender's message within all the raid hype messages.

Click Chatter Username to Shoutout Give channel moderators the power to shout out someone in chat by clicking their username and selecting a "shout out" option (another way of shouting them out vs. using /shoutout @username).

Pinned Messages disappear. I think there should be a way to post these permanently unless removed by the streamer.

2 votes -
restrict Add a twitch API endpoint for setting /restrict [user]. We can use PubSub for subscribing to the events and we can check suspicious user status. But there isn't currently as far as i can tell a documented a way to set restricted mode outside of chat message.

Fit screen video and column chat in landscape mode On mobile, revert back to video adjusting size to fit column chat when viewing in landscape. Currently, when column chat mode is enabled, it covers part of the stream on the right versus before both stream and chat fit the screen. Since there is a chat overlay mode now, change to the old way column chat was.

Open/Close Chat window via keyboard Often while enjoying Twitch streams, I find myself wanting to easily open and close the chat to stay updated with the ongoing discussions. Since I predominantly use the keyboard over the mouse, it can be a bit inconvenient to switch to the mouse solely to manage the chat. I was wondering if it would be possible to incorporate a hotkey function that allows users to toggle the chat window. This would greatly enhance the viewing experience, providing a smoother way to engage with the chat without interrupting the stream. Perhaps something akin to the 'F' key for fullscreen mode could…

Option to clear or remove users when logging in. I do not want to ban the users that are hanging around in the chat, but when I first log in there are users still sitting in the chat from previous streams. Could an option be added to "kick" everyone out. Or place a system to where at the start of the stream any users who are lingering from previous stream/s is cleared out?
So they have to actively enter the new stream if that makes since.

Block Hype Chat Hype chat, like most twitch ideas is astonishingly awful. It will serve the singular purpose of enabling the most unwanted messages, by the most unwanted viewers to be completely unavoidable thereby handing them the elevated levels of attention and annoyance they have always desired. Please put in an option to block and not see these messages … ever. I understand Twitch wants and may even need to make more money but, who in their right mind would want to stare at messages by the most pathetic among us? I’m not saying to get rid of it. I’m just asking for…

Hide subscription notification (There is no X to close it) I saw in a different thread that there is an X to close the subscription notification. I do not see it. There is only the "three vertical dots" button.

Do something to fix this very common TTS racism that is rampant. I had someone come into chat and use a popular play on words using the words knee, and grow. It is disgusting and should never happen. I get it happening once. But he was able to make over three accounts and keep using the same phrase over and over again. I did everything I can to ban as quick as possible but as a platform you guys HAVE to do better. That is a very common joke I see used in tts all the time. You guys need to ban it. The phrase should be inaccessible. On top of that…

Backseating educational popup/warning Adding new features that punish backseating is shortsighted and ignores that many users simply don't know better yet and would behave differently if they knew. A non-punitive, private reminder popup about backseating should be issuable to individual chat users or to the entire chat as a reminder. To describe the rationale more fully, here's a breakdown of the problem and a proposed solution.
Problems:
1- Many users don't know what backseating is, or do not completely know every behavior the term covers. Many users simply engage the chat and only discover later that what they said constitutes a backseating problem.…
