1. Get rid Child predator and Spam Bots

   Okay Twitch so here is the Simple Idea - why don't you track chats of new accounts (chatter what they write and new streamer what's in their chat) and games often used by bots and children. e.g. Fortnite, Rocket League, Brawl Stars, Standoff 2, ASMR, just chatting.
   Track the words predators and bots use e.g. challenges, Creator code, feet, mouth, ***, "code is", also the common Emotes 🍑🍆💦
   I have this Idea because of the massive spam of “use my creator code” and pedophile activities. I’ve seen a boy dancing naked because he thought he got a 1000$ Donation and see kids show feet because they think they get followers. Twitch only react if there is someone to report. If no one reports these accounts are tree to do whatever they want.

   My idea in Detail:
   Categories:
   Check your actually most banned categories where underage reports were done. So these are the mail categories where predators are. For the bots it’s the same group and also most popular games.
   Account selection:
   Intense watch of accounts younger than 1 Month. Most predators and bots are made one week ago.
   Less Intense but still watch chats of live streamer accounts in the selected categories 3-6Month.
   You could also Involve just started stream with less than 10 viewers to track them the first 2 hours.
   Chat trigger:
   Again check your reported accounts for Scam, Bot , sexual stuff and against underage
   Check for common words and phrases.
   Use a Rating – High Priority and low Priority. In my opinion a new account using one of these words / phrases are inappropriate.
   High priority:
   e.g. challenges, mooning, show feet, 🍑, 💦,🍆, creator code, /me donated, face reveal, shirt off, add me, snapchat, designer, **, **, follow 4 follow, follow me back
   I would instantly ban these new accounts only reviewed if ppl use the tools to unban. Don’t forget the phrases from the reports you see – because also the spam bots change the text like “code is hind” is now something like “get free rare skins use hind”
   less priority:
   e.g. add me on discord, where do you life, do you have a girlfriend / boyfriend, wisper me
   Reviewed if used often. Exclude the known bots like Streamelements Nightbot Moobot ...
   You can also think about a kind of “Point System” – If in the chat of new accounts is just the word “foot” “feet” it’s not bad but e.g. someone telling “not to show feet” or “don’t take shirt off”. If ppl use in a new chat 5 or more times they will get reviewed by the support but not instantly banned.
   Probably KI can also do this and decide what is a good or a bad phrase. The “Point System” could be good to also filter old accounts who were not identified yet.
   I never did anything with Python and I took me only 12 hours to make a bot – that did in parts the same. Filtered a list of live Fortnite streamer and watches the chat about some trigger phrases. Not Perfect bc I would still need to make the list bigger, get the new accounts first and more categories. Also I would still need to report the accounts manually. Especially the bot I don’t care to report them by hand. BUT! You have all the data and also know the new accounts chatting. And you don’t lose time if it is automated.
   So PLEASE Twitch – I’m quite sure it’s not that big effort for your Team. You can easily try the system with the massive bot spamings from tion hind itsplunja and streamrise. So you can quickly save the children not to be naked, show feet or open the mouth really wide on Twitch anymore.
   Not Chat but also against bots: You could check profile pictures and compare titles of new live channels bc the sex bot streams often use the same picture – links in bio and stream title.

2. VOD chat transparent and less obtrusive

   For people watching VODS, let people use the transparent chat like you can do during live streams. It would allow you to have a much cleaner look and be better than black bars taking up some of the screen and making the video smaller.

4. Setting "unpin message if categorie gets changed"

   I suggest to create a setting for pinned messages to get unpinned if the categorie changes.

   Often pinned messages are only relevant while the stream is in a specific categorie.
   A setting to account for that and make it possible would make moderating easier. This would be a great feature especially in big streams on channels which sometimes change their categories.

6. Remove VIP badge via ban

   I'd request a feature as following:
   Remove the VIP status of a user if this user gets a ban.

   Sometimes VIPs change and they need to get banned. So it would be helpful to represent that people who violate rules might loose their vip badge.

   This feature would enable mods to remove the VIP badge from users, which would be really helpful and much more easier to do in general.

8. Chat block

   Since I noticed that some streamers assume that the same person is behind these accounts, even though they are two different people and these streamers have no evidence of this and block both accounts in the chat, that's what the streamers do reputation-damaging statements.

   That's why I would like to have a way to report reputation-damaging behavior regardless of when the comments were made or when the chat was blocked.

10. Increase the total amount of users that can be blocked

    The total amount of users that can be blocked is capped at 1000 users. Sadly this is inadequate in channels with large communities. In larger channels there are often people who spam chat with incessant ant pointless posts, and the 1000 cap for blocked users just doesn't do enough. I'd recommend upping the total to 10000 would be a better standpoint to help users control what and who they have to see in the communities various chats.

11. How The Followage Is Tracked.

    The current way isn't perfect and could do with a revamp.

    I believe this should be changed to the amount of time followed in total instead of showing the date the user followed.

    This will solve the problems with users accidentally unfollowing their favourite channels and then having to completely restart their followage.

    It could work a bit like the subs. Where it shows the amount of time you're actively subscribed. And when you stop subscribing it shows how long you've been previously subscribed for.

    For Example It could say 'Following For (active follow time)' when the user is following and 'Previously Followed For (active follow time)' when the user is unfollowed. It will only add the time on when the user is following the channel.

12. Include Subscription Tier in IRC Tags

    Currently there is a tag for viewing if a user is subscribed or not, but it doesn't provide the context of which tier the user is subscribed at (1,2, or 3). As such, developers have to make an API call either for every message, or concoct a cache system that becomes needlessly complicated.

13. Phonetic spelling for Twitch usernames

    TLDR; Twitch members would really benefit from users having an option to add phonetic spelling to their profile.

    Whenever someone comes into chat, I like to ask how their name is pronounced. This often means that new followers’ first message is how their name is pronounced, or lurking users may be pulled out of their lurk to explain how it is pronounced. For some, requests like this may even be microaggressive.

    A solution to this would be an opt-in feature for phonetic spelling, where the phonetic spelling of the username is available on their page and when hovering over their username in chat.

19. Raid Chant - Bring Chants to Raids

    SCENARIO - A Broadcaster is Raiding another Broadcaster and asks Chat to Copy & Paste a Raid Message

    BACKGROUND - A Broadcaster needs to program their Raid Message(s) into a bot, and then the Broadcaster/Mod must manually trigger the command(s) in chat pre-raid. Users must find the correct Raid Message based on subscriber status, in a moving chat, and then manually Copy & Paste once the Raid is complete. If the User doesn’t have Pause When Scrolling enabled - this is a frustrating task. Additionally, New Users on Twitch do not know about Pause While Scrolling, making this process the most difficult for newcomers, adding friction to on-boarding.

    PROBLEM - This is a poor user experience. It requires significant set-up, especially for new Broadcasters, and manual input(s) from each Chatter each and every Raid.

    This also leads to poor uptake in Raid Messages. If a stream has 100 Viewers, 60 of which are Chatters, they might have 20 Chatters post the Raid Message.

    It’s overly complex. A Broadcaster needs to make sure to Copy & Paste their own Raid Message while signing off, and performing the Raid itself.

    SOLUTION - Chants. Use a slightly modified Chants feature to bring Raid Messages into the Raid Command as a first-party feature.

    When Raiding, once Chat has been redirected to the raided Broadcaster, a Chant box would appear in the Chat with the appropriate Raid Message pre-filled. Chatters would only need to click a button to send the Raid Chant. (A new term to distinguish this Raid Message from a traditional/current Raid Message)

    This would eliminate/replace manual commands pre-raid, as well as Copy & Paste for each User. It would also eliminate selection errors, where unsubscribed Chatters select the (wrong) subscriber Raid Message.

    ADDITIONAL BENEFITS -

    1 - Disable Raid Chant: Not all Broadcasters are appreciative of Raid Messages. This feature would enable possible additional controls for the Raided Broadcaster to disable or limit Raid Chants

    2 - Emote Lending: This feature would enable a possible additional feature - where all Raiders would be able to send a Raid Chant with Channel Emotes regardless of subscription status.

    3 - As a whole, Raid Chants would serve as a foundation for other Raid/ Raid Message features

    I do not own a cellphone. I have been on Twitch over 12 years and this new safety feature effectively made it so that I cannot post a whisper to anyone. I think users should be able to have an option to click that enables recieving all whispers from the user they select.
