1. Stream preview sidebar

Stream preview for hovering over all channels in the side bar, so you dont have to leave your stream window to "zap" through your next streams.

Thought of it so many times by now, as a quality of life feature on the plattform.

2. Twitch Support Quality Control

Many times when I have reached to support, the twitter support, email support, and live chat support will give me 3 different responses, sometimes helpful, sometimes not. There seems to be little quality control options and a severe lack of consistency. I would love to see a report button or escalate option for when serious issues arise and the response isn't appropriate. For example I recently reported that several parts of my creator dashboard was non-reponsive and some parts missing entirely. I confirmed that this wasn't an update and something was wrong and when I reached out the response was to send me the help page for the feature that disappeared, and one for a feature that was unresponsive. When I attempted to explain that I understood what the feature was, but the issue was that it was broken in my dashboard, they closed the ticket and said they couldn't help me any more than sending the help page link. I would find it helpful to have had a report or escalate option in that situation, as an issue such as the creator dashboard breaking is fairly significant and when support closes a ticket or responds unprofessionally, there doesn't seem to be any quality control reporting options. I feel like not only would this help to unify the support teams on each platform, but also help users feel more heard, and help notify Twitch when their representation isn't adhering to their standards.

3. Mobile Interface

The popups on the mobile app completely change the viewing experience. Not only do we have to manually close the Subtember notification that appears and covers the top of every stream, a lot of partnered streams have an “Includes Paid Promotion” popup that appears at the bottom of the screen, and instead of disappearing it leaves a gray line across the bottom of the stream where the only fix is to change the orientation of my screen and change it back, or shrink the window and open it again. These popups are unnecessary and ruin the viewing experience.

4. Save your Streak has less information than Followed Channels

I am honestly baffled by " Save your Streak " in the " For you " category. When I watch someone I am interested in what game they are playing. The " Save your Streak " info in the " For you " category removes this information, and even worse the channel is not visible in my " Followed channels " - therefore I cannot quickly and conveniently identify what the streamer is playing at the moment and decided whether I am interested or not. Please either add what game is currently being played in " Save your Streak " or do not hide the channel in " Followed channels " .

5. Fix Website Style issue below chat box

   Clutter near Channel Points/Sub Drops/Drops

I am pretty sure this is a system-wide style design issue from Twitch, but is anyone else facing this when you have a large amount of channel points, plus there is a sub drop/drop icon (this one is those and slow chat) where it pushes the chat up?

Used to be a BTTV issue, but that was fixed by them, then last week when Twitch changed more things

Its occurring in channels where people are Moderators too

6. Twitch Support e-mail autoresponse does not suggest which section on Uservoice would be best for questions redirected here

Recently I submitted a ticket regarding a specific issue that does not appear to have a dedicated section on Uservoice, despite being told in the response e-mail that I must place my question in the right section.

Since there does not appear to be a matching one, I am forced to pick what is in my opinion the least-worst match, which may still be flagged as invalid.

Had the response e-mail pointed me in the right direction, I would not have to guess. And what if there is no valid section? Then there would be no way at all to address the issue.

Thus I'm submitting this meta-request before I submit the main one so that perhaps no-one else might have to face this dilemma.

7. i do not like the yellow flame thingy

hi i love your site but i am not a fan of that yellow flame thingy staying in the follow channel box with the number of streaks by it under the name of your streamers if that makes sense. i liked it better when that wennt away. i have no idea why you changed it that is just confusing about if the streak is locked in or not. brfore when the yellow flame went away you knew your streak was sfe. it is also distracting for me

8. Moderate Harassment

On September 2nd 2026, the partnered twitch streamer, channel twitch.tv/centralcommittee, made a call to violence against another partnered streamer, twitch.tv/hutch, during a livestream on twitch.tv. CentralCommittee was reacting to a clip of Hutch's, where he was expressing his criticism and dislike for Hutch. During this segment of the livestream, he made this statement directed towards Hutch:

"In Ancient Rome, they would declare someone an enemy of Rome, as an act in the Senate. And they would say it was a moral obligation, for every Roman, to do them harm in any way."

In the context of the segment, and the tone of the streamer, the intent is clear and incredibly worrying.

Later after the stream had ended, Central_Committee deleted the VOD off of their channel, but this partner has made multiple calls to violence or used similar violent rhetoric on their channel in the past.

At the time of writing this e mail, no action has been taken. The Partner has not been banned.

Twitch must not allow this kind of language to persist on its platform.

A partnered twitch streamer making threats of violence against another partnered streamer is clearly against not only Twitch's Terms of Service, but also violates Twitch's Partnership Program Agreement.

This appears to mark a trend on the platform, allowing for open use of violent language, calls to violence or even threats of violence, against others. I urge for this to be escalated inside of the appropriate legal, moderation and safety teams at Twitch, in order to be properly addressed, due to its distressing nature and the troublesome precedent it sets.

I will be cancelling any active Paid Subscriptions, Including Twitch Turbo, Individual Channel Subscriptions and Amazon Prime membership until action is appropriate action is taken and this user is banned from your platform.

9. Creators and Viewers

I’ve been thinking about why people often seem more attracted to chaotic, unserious streams than to serious or intellectually demanding ones, and I think part of the reason may actually be built into the structure of streaming platforms themselves.

A stream is not just content being broadcast by one person. It is communication between the creator and the audience. But today, the creator communicates through video, voice, personality, identity, followers and the entire visual space of the stream, while the viewer can usually contribute only through short text messages in chat.

Even if nobody intends it, that creates a kind of emotional hierarchy: the creator feels like the “real participant,” while the audience becomes a temporary stream of comments underneath them.

On chaotic or unserious streams this hierarchy is often weakened naturally, because the creator behaves more freely and the whole space feels socially flatter. But on serious streams the creator often becomes more formal, the audience more passive, and the distance becomes stronger.

I wonder if this could be changed with something surprisingly simple: give viewers their own interaction layer.

Not direct control over the stream, and not more spam inside the video itself — a separate viewer panel.

Creators would have their side of Twitch, where they compete for viewers, followers and subscriptions. Viewers would have their own side, where they could build a following and reputation through the quality of their participation: good questions, useful answers, interesting arguments, ideas, corrections, observations or other contributions.

A creator could still be a viewer whenever they watch somebody else. The distinction would simply depend on what you are doing at that moment — streaming or watching.

This could create two equal social roles instead of one active role and one passive role.

The most interesting part is that viewers could follow other viewers. If someone repeatedly contributes intelligent, useful or entertaining ideas, people could start recognizing and following them even if that person never streams.

That would create a second social network inside Twitch itself: not only “Which streamer do I follow?”, but also “Which people in the audience do I trust, enjoy or find interesting?”

And because this interaction would exist in a separate viewer layer, it would not need to interrupt the stream, trigger sounds, cover the video or create a flood of actions. Only the most interesting contributions could cross from the audience layer into the stream itself.

I think such a small structural change could have a surprisingly large effect on the culture of streaming.

Instead of viewers competing for a few seconds of attention in chat, they could gradually gain social value through what they contribute.

And that might make serious streams feel less like a lecturer speaking to a crowd, and more like a shared space in which both sides actually participate.

10. Let us turn off in-chat watch streak notifications

Maybe I'm in a small minority of viewers here, but PLEASE let me turn off all watch streak notifications. I understand why watch streaks are a thing and I'm sure some people really like it, but I genuinely could not care less about streaks and I'm so sick of getting these popups that linger in the chat box until I click to close them. Apologies if it is already possible to disable this and I just couldn't find it.

11. Remove this duplicate category

Currently, there is a SCP: Containment Breach with 75.2k followers but a much smaller SCP Containment Breach category that people often mistake for the real one (the IGDB page for the non colon one was delisted and wasn't even showing the real game!) It would be better for everyone to remove the fake / duplicate category.

12. more options to customize,"Channel Surfing", pls rework the "tag system"

For example, more options to customize the Twitch page. The "front-page carousel" is great, but it’s annoying that it shows me VODs for things I haven't actually watched. There should be a way to turn off the front-page carousel or modify it so those VODs don't show up in my history. P.S. It’s really poor design that users from my block list can appear in the front-page carousel.
More options for working with the tag system; the current system is too cluttered given the sheer number of tags.
We users need the ability to hide tags we have absolutely no interest in—like English, German, and other languages.
That kind of info could just be embedded in the stream overlay alongside the "Live" status and viewer count.
Blocking tags is important, too! Why? Well, "a happy user is a good customer."
Why do I have to sift through 200 streams I’ll never watch just because I don't like the stream style—tags like ASMR, VTuber, gay, LGBTQ+, NSFW, Furry,
and others that feel more related to the streamer's sexual orientation than the actual content? And if the content is sexual in nature—why is it on Twitch?
Finally, an idea that 90s kids will recognize: "Channel Surfing" I’d love the ability to flip through channels—categorized by main page, games, categories, etc.
    This only makes sense if we can block tags and prevent every channel we briefly check out from cluttering our VOD history;
otherwise, the video and channel recommendations would get completely skewed.

13. Add filter on streamers beyond just types to include exclusions like VTuber

Can you please consider adding the functionality to auto block certain types of streamer (i.e. vtuber, etc)? I have nothing against it and I'm happy others enjoy the content but it's not something I'll ever watch and as you can already filter out certain tags like ASMR, etc this feels like it would take very little to add this functionality. Many thanks for your time and consideration.

14. Use more prominent and clearer promotion terms

TLDR version - on the just expired Audible Dungeon Crawler Carl Chat badge promotion - use the term "live channel" more prominently on streamer page, on the Twitch.tv/drops/campaign page and the blog page that pops up when you click "About This Reward"

If indeed, the badges only qualify for subs purchased on live channels, how hard would it be to include that on the same line in the drops/campaign line before the Summary description "Earn up to 3 Audible Dungeon Crawler Carl Chat Badges. Buy 1 Twitch sub for EnchantedBigBoiBoxers badge. Buy 1 more sub for both PrincessDonutPink and PrincessDonutBrown badges. Terms apply."? It's two or three words and there was lots of blank space after Terms apply.

Likewise in the blog page, put the "live channel" requirement at the TOP of the blog post, not buried at the bottom in the official terms and conditions (live was mentioned only once in the entire blog). I clicked the blog post link to get more details about both the sub requirements and what I would get for an Audible reward and only happened on the official terms accidentally. I see now that "live was mentioned below the About This Reward link and the images but I assumed the blog post would be clear. There was lots of mentions of buying a new or gift sub but only ONE mention of "live" on the entire blog page and only in the official terms (which, be real, most people don't read)

Perhaps also drop "while live" in the description on the streamer's channel.

I quibble about this because several of my favorite streamers are on vacation and therefore I couldn't purchase new subs while they were live... Plus seriously, why did they have to be live? I can purchase subs when they are offline and Twitch still gets the benefit.

17. Stop making banners permanent. Stop making **** annoying.

Stop making **** annoying. Stop giving INSTANT ADS the moment somebody starts typing in chat, what the **** is that? Stop giving us banners that won't go away no matter what we do, what the **** is that? I'm actually less convinced to buy subs because the "bonus subs" banner won't go away above chat.

19. Twitch Drops Streamer Management

One of the biggest annoyances I have with Twitch Drops that I think drastically needs a re-work, is that sometimes they only have one or two streamers and the drops are unique drops for just that streamer, so the only way to get the drops is to watch that one streamer who is playing that one game. Then you go to the streamer's channel and he's playing a different game with drops off. Then you go another day and the same thing. And another day and the same thing.

Twitch should make rules with their streamers when offering drops that they have to play the game and offer the drops at the very least a minimum amount of time. If that system is in place then the minimum time should be increased. It is the most frustrating thing ever to want to get drops as a viewer, but to never be able to find the streamer online or never find the streamer playing the game that the drops are for.

Alternatively, if they want to promote certain streamers alone, then they should offer the drops for watching that streamer, even if they are playing a different game.

20. Miniplayer
