1. Control at partners in live chat

   I've found that affiliates can get donations from you if they do enough. Yesterday I discovered a streamer who during a Minecraft game told in detail pornographic noises and sexual preferences in the live chat, if people in the chat obscenely teased them or you were against it, the sentences in the chat were deleted directly by a moderator.. ...Since it's against the rules for a partnership on Twitch, and the streamer becomes money for dirty content, my idea is that words spoken live such as sex, private parts etc should be heard and muted the same way as when a piece of music is recognized and also a warning should follow. As well as then playing a counselor, where she said that she regularly hurts herself and was in psychiatric care, is not exactly a role model for children and every child can see that without registering!

   I reported it immediately and the "Just Chatting" section contained almost only live pornographic posts, you don't have to look for them, they are there immediately, what can you do about it to protect the children and the Twitch brand ?

2. Hard Tracked Bans with Channel Tags Data

   Some users on twitch unfortunately harass and target minority groups that being members of lgbtqia+ and PoC. If users are repetitively banned in say like 20-30 lgbtqia+ or PoC (tagged as such, like mixed race, african American;etc.) streamers channels, their accounts should be suspended then possibly sitewide banned, if there is a repeat offense post suspension.

   There should data that collates this info and action as a result based of this also.

   Being a streamer who fits into both these categories sometimes it gets a bit much having to ban and then also report these users, half the time i don't bother with the report.

   An auto feature that can track harassment will be great, this will also fast disable burner accounts made to harass people.

   Having a system where people can appeal to twitch also when banned, will fix any issues in this system.

3. Don't bleach copyrights

   Companies cannot gain trust if they do not comply with laws and ethics. Some streamers watched anime in their stream without getting permission. That is completely illegal.
   The streamers sometimes choose particular words for their streams tag for avoiding a ban. So Twitch had better improve AI which scanning streams or give punishment to particular streamers for not obeying the copyright law.

4. Freedom of expression and individuality

   Content creators need a way to express how they feel in any way. The First Amendment guarantees our right to free expression and free association, which means that the government laws does not have the right to forbid us from saying what we like and writing what we like; we can form clubs and organizations, and take part in demonstrations and rallies. Although this would be a legal act if anyone infringed on copyright rules. The whole idea of punishing people for expression is non sense. DMCA needs to re-evaluate it's core fundamentals which should be to help everyone.

   Force streamers to utilize overlay extensions that identify artists when using copyrighted music. This is free advertising for those artists / record labels. It's a feature that is already built into StreamElements Media Request streaming tool. This is no different than streaming games and you know it. If you refuse to use an identifier, you get hit with DMCA.

8. By asking the Creator who is the real owner of that music/sounds

   I had my vod muted and after verifying who was the owner and listen to the song, I discovered that he's not the owner at ALL!
   That song or part of that song is a mere copy/use of Apple Loops music and samples free to use even for commercial use or broadcasting by Apple Inc. That package of DVD song/sound/sample is part of the Apple product "Final Cut Studio" that I OWN! So I have the license to use it in Twitch or any other broadcasting use.

   Now the problem is the external company that ask Twitch to mute! Those guys should be in jail for fake claims!
   They first should send a notice to Twitch, that once received notify the Creator and ask him to send proofs of his right conduct and licensed use of that song/music/sample. If the Creator can't produce any proof then Twitch can have the right to mute. Only in that case.
   It's time to STOP those ABUSES from copyright company that do not verify anything a part from using a kind of Shazam system to recognize that 2 different Creators are using the same samples licensed to both by Apple inc?? They must jocking!!!

9. On the crazy feature of blocking

   The “block” function is the greatest exercise of power in chatting on twitch. This feature has the function of eliminating spam bots, political propaganda, and other obviously harmful entities that make comments knowing that they will be blocked.
   However, I think there is another side to this feature. This is the “monster-making machine” aspect. First of all, except for comments that are intentionally blocked as mentioned above, the first thing a blocked person does is to create a sub-account. I’ll skip the discussion of whether this in itself is a good thing or a bad thing, as that is not the purpose of the message I want to convey. First of all, we can see here that the “block” function does not work at all. The detailed mechanism will be explained later, but at this point, the user feels as if he or she has been attacked in some way. At this point, users can either say, “I did something wrong, so this block is reasonable to some extent,” and start chatting normally again, or they can say, "This block is unfair, and I’ll stick to this distributor and attack him. In the case of the former, the person will chat again without worrying about the block and with some degree of remorse. In the case of the latter, the person will continue to sticky and attack the distributor until he or she is satisfied.
   But there’s more to it than that. One day, the former person’s account will suddenly stop, and a notice will be sent to his email address, stating that his account has been suspended for "repeatedly circumventing chat bans. The user who felt attacked for free will now get a follow-up from the management. Twitch uses every conceivable kind of bot to prevent people from “repeatedly evading chat bans”. They can even identify a sub-account just by changing the email address link. The reason for this, I assume, is to prevent the creation of sub-accounts for “people who are obviously harmful and know they will be blocked,” as mentioned above, but the effect extends to people who have been blocked for mere comments.
   In this way, Twitch has built a system to chase down people who have been blocked over and over again. By chasing after people who have been chatting with some degree of remorse, they have succeeded in creating the “this block is unfair, and I’m going to stick to this distributor and attack them” monster mentioned above.
   Now, let me explain why people feel attacked by this block function. First of all, people other than the “obviously harmful and knowingly blocked” people mentioned above are not intentionally misbehaving, for example, if they are tempted to put up ASCII art in the chat room and play a prank, or if they are hungry or have a fight with their girlfriend and are in a bad mood. For example, if you’re in a bad mood because you’re hungry or you’ve had a fight with your girlfriend, you might react to an attack that you would normally overlook and end up fighting in chat. Of course, this is not the only case where people violate the community guidelines, but there are many other cases where people violate the community guidelines not intentionally, but because they have to. This may seem intentional from an objective point of view, but the people themselves act in such a way because they have to. And even though the probability of this happening is low in twitch, which is watched by tens of millions of people, there is a certain number of people who act this way because the denominator is large. There is no malicious intent on their part. However, the twitch system does not consider whether there was malice or not. If you are blocked, you can’t even see the comments. In other words, it means that you are banned from the community. Users enjoy not only the delivery of the distributor, but also the sense of community unity and chatting with the community. It means a permanent and almost irreversible ban from all of that. (There is a recently added feature that allows you to request to be removed, but it’s so limited that very few people actually do it.) No matter how sorry the user is, no matter how much he regrets his actions, the result will be the same. No matter how sorry the user is, no matter how much he regrets his actions, the result will be the same: he will be locked in the same blocking cage as the spambots and political propaganda accounts, with little to no chance of getting out. Blocking deprives you of the greatest enjoyment of streaming with the community. When someone who has been watching for months or years is blocked, the sense of loss is immeasurable. You have to admit that the loss is your fault. I think it’s not hard to imagine that there are few people who would continue to watch a feed where they can’t comment or chat. There is such a heavy meaning to not even showing comments. Now that you’ve seen this, I’m sure you understand why you might feel attacked.
   Also, psychologically speaking, if you ask people to choose option A and option B, 80% of them will choose A, while the remaining 20% will choose B. This has been proven in various experiments. This has been proven in various experiments. In other words, even if you tell people to follow the community guidelines, 20% of them will not do so without any ill will. Banning them permanently from the community without any extenuating circumstances is too extreme in some respects. In addition, there are almost no people who read the community guidelines thoroughly before commenting, and the rule of twitch is "follow common sense. However, common sense varies greatly by region and backbone. In other words, common sense differs greatly from person to person. Even in the case of failures due to these cultural differences, Twitch’s answer is

   Here I would like to suggest some alternatives to blocking. First of all, while keeping the name “block” intact, the function could be changed to a one-year ban at the very worst, and a system that determines whether the new “blocked” person’s expression is an excessively malicious spambot or something else, and if so, block the person as before. Also, instead of blocking people out of the blue, the new system allows users to create sub-accounts for a week at first, then a month, then a year. If the system encourages users to reflect on their actions and structure their accounts, rather than forcing them to create sub-accounts, it will make people who violate the rules without malicious intent reaffirm the rules and reflect on their actions. In addition, the blocking feature of not being able to see comments is excessive in some respects, because in the state of excitement after being blocked, the reaction of the chat at the moment of being blocked may cause rage, so not letting people see comments for an hour after being blocked, or even permanently, is It is excessive. It would also be effective to make the unblock request in the form of a chat so that the user can show remorse and reconfirm the rules, rather than just once. It would also make a big difference if there was a cushion, such as blocking those who attack the distributor or moderator.

    Muted Auto be shouldn't be Muted when exported or downloaded! It is at our risk to upload that somewhere else! It is already muting my commentary and dialogue too, and most of the time in game music has other dialogue and sound effects going to so there will almost never be clear music for anyone to get copy of!

    Hi, did anyone notice in Twitch Global, in Turkey, a lot of charges is coming right now Twitch about bit fraud. All local Twitch members are ghost for now.(also they closed their social media even official TR Twitch twitter account) I have a suggestion; please hire some professional local team. And sometimes audit bit, sub or channels globally. I am a watcher of Twitch nearly 7 years. Please hear Turkish community. This is ridiculous dont do anthing quickly...

14. Gambling Streamers should include these in the title of their stream for viewer safety and knowledge

    As a safety feature, people who stream gambling content should include both (Regulated Casino and Country's Currency used to gamble) or (Unregulated Casino and Crypto-Currency) in the title of their stream so people know if the streamer is using Regulated or Unregulated sites so people who gamble in general and/or have a gambling addiction know what they are getting themselves into if they choose to sign-up to the gambling site that the streamer is playing on.

    Reason I included people who have gambling addictions is because regulated sites have the feature for the gambler to self-exclude themselves from gambling but unregulated sites do not have that feature to help/protect gamblers from further harming themselves.

    By the way, maybe this site should have an option on it where users can actually contact support instead of making us jump through hoops trying to find a way for contact when there isn’t a way t do so !!!

    I'm a DJ most of us are in record pools and receive the digital music from distributors. So we have fair use. The funny thing is that these companies know that.. How else would artist really get recognized and stay relevant...

    I suggest Twitch create a category for DJs and give DMCA the list and say these DJs most who are professional Djs and say these people are protected by the fair use... Every one of my videos on FB are overturned because I report fair use...

19. Negotiate With Game Devs

    So I would 1st like to point out that there's a lot of missing links on the DMCA talk.

    Most of these have to do with the Categories being streamed and what those Categories have Pre-Built in them.

    A fine example of this is with EA and 2K and all the EA and 2K Sports Games.

    These games contain 1 Major Flaw that will impact the DMCA and that is the Game Soundtrack Music.

    For many years the In-Game Music in the Sports Games are all gonna be DMCA Hits as the music is picked by the Athlete(s) on the Cover Art to the Game(s).

    If I was to look at an EA Sports Game and I see the Soundtrack has some of my favourite artists in it. I'm gonna be unhappy because I'll have to disable that In-Game Music.

    Now think if it's the Athlete(s) who picked the music to be in the game and they chose to become a streamer on Twitch. They're gonna be unhappy and say "I picked this music to be in the game and because of DMCA I can't even listen to my jams?" Now you've lost another Content Creator.

    You see this a lot with the UFC and the Impact Wrestling Channels on Twitch. All the fighters have their own Entrance Music they walk out to before they fight. This is Technically a Copyright on it's own as the entrance music picked by the fighter was Licensed to the Broadcasts Or Game(s) so the fighter can hype up the crowd.

    Now take that into a Perspective as a Content Creator who's big into watching the Combat Sports. They've acquired the game and have chosen to start a Content Series where they're gonna make their own custom character and go down a career path in the game to achieve a goal.
    The creator may be facing an AI Character for the other Fighter. But the same time, these other fighter(s) have the same music they enter to on the Broadcast put into the game.
    Now the Creator's in a bit of a pickle. They're not supposed to be playing Copyright Music on their stream. But at the same time, it's unskippable as it's part of a cutscene in that game and therefore they're hit with a DMCA notice. What's going to happen to this Creator now that they've been going for over <Time Span> with the game and then they are hit with a DMCA because the game did it to them?

    This needs to be brought to the attention of the Game Devs even more than Creators. If the game Devs are putting the music into the Game(s) and the Creator(s) are the ones being punished because of the music. Then this needs an appeal to ensure all creators are secured and have the freedom of the In-Game Music on their content.

    This still doesn't even hit how much harder it is for the Rhythm Game Creators.

    Heck! Even Creators who do Art always have music playing on their stream. I personally enjoy the Music while I'm doing art as It's a form of Inspiration to something I may create live on stream.

    Prime example of myself using music with what may include DMCA Music. I'm a Multimedia Artist who does Film and Photography along with Video Editing and Graphical Arts. On Saturday 09/18/2021, I went out to a bar for the 1st time in a long time to see some Live music that my friends were performing. My friends are part of an 80's Hair Metal Tribute Band. So every song would technically be a DMCA hit on my end. But the issue of this part is that I was the person behind the camera filming a subject. I then took this subject and started to Edit the video and add in graphics and remix the Audio Levels. Just by me doing this is a DMCA? That doesn't seem fair as it's a form of inspiration to a Work of Art I'm working on at that time.

    I personally was on a Long Twitter Thread earlier on 09/28/2021 where multiple Content Creators I stream with said "I really wish I could play <Game Title> on Stream. But at least 1/2 of the music in the game would give me a DMCA.

    So I would 1st like to point out that there's a lot of missing links on the DMCA talk.

    Most of these have to do with the Categories being streamed and what those Categories have Pre-Built in them.

    A fine example of this is with EA and 2K and all the EA and 2K Sports Games.

    These games contain 1 Major Flaw that will impact the DMCA and that is the Game Soundtrack Music.
