Chatbot presence restrictions Chat bots are intended for a channel owner to engage and moderate THEIR chat and channel. It is inappropriate, unwelcome, and absolutely NOT HARMLESS. You would NEVER in your right mind allow some stranger (or their spy cam and mic) to lurk unwelcome in your home.
Chatbots should not have the same account-like status as real people. They should be restricted to their owner's channel and chat completely via implementation. They should not be permitted to roam freely.

More professionalism, less corruption, less suspending people for standing up to trolls and match ruiners!! Twitch have been 100% disgraceful and corrupt as of late, firstly they take 10 years to reply to a ticket urgent or not, they support cyber bulling and suspend people who stand up to trolls in streamers chat or game being played, they suspend you for 7 days and it lasts 14+ days which a joke...twitch really need to pull their heads out of their a$$es and this point.... twitch should be ashamed of themselves

When Host I've been spending a lot of time at Twitch for the last two years. I see that there are still very important problems that have not improved in time. This is one of the problems: for example, when large broadcasters host small broadcasters at the end of the broadcast, in the small broadcasters' chat room there can be some users who share inappropriate links, make toxicities, and make spam. Small or new publishers remain uninformed in this event. I mean, they can't handle what's going on in the chat rooms. So the broadcasters cannot do their job properly. Foreseeing that…

How to reduce unwanted users/bots Dear Twitch Staff,
I know my opinion is just a shoot in the abyss and nobody will ever read it. Despite this, I am going to make a small attempt.I decided to write this, because I witnessed how a single user with a fake account can force to "expel" my viewers. It was not a regular troll, because he harassed not only the broadcaster (me), but also the normal users in the chat. In addition, he followed me, so he will receive information when exactly I will start a stream. I saw pointless to ban him (even if I…

Gracias

We need an option to restrict the chat to accounts banned from x-number of channels If the account was banned from, let's say, 5-10 other channels, it will not be allowed to chat in yours.
In order to limit the accounts just trying to get ban the fastest.
Yes, they can create new accounts, but it will limit the number of trolls and hate speech in chat.1 vote -
Suggestion method for removing copyrighted songs Twitch likes to just mute out the whole audio sections from a clip when there is copyrighted music. Which makes that section odd to watch since there is no audio at all. My solution to this would be for twitch to instead of just muting out the segment, they should just take the copyrighted song, and apply an inverted signal to it. So that way, the song would essentially be silenced/ canceled out by the two signals, however, everything else would be fine and you'd be able to hear streamer, any sort of in-game sounds or irl sounds. That way,…

Add the ability to stop someone from following you If you are a smaller streamer and don't want the harassment of someone unwanted you, you should be able to remove & block them from following you.

Limit Simultaneous Logins Limit the number of streams/chats that a single account can be logged into simultaneously. I've noticed that there are a lot of bot-accounts that appear in EVERYONE's chat rooms, but never as viewers. These accounts seem highly suspicious, and I personally would feel better if they were no longer able to "infect" twitch with their frivolous logging of every chat's activities. Besides the fact that the chat replies from Twitch could be used as cheap DDoS source, they could also be exploiting the chats to infect their users in some way.
I think that a limit of 10 chats/streams for…1 vote -
Changing how Bots appear in Chat determined by individual Streamer I have an issue with bots in my chat. I don't need to see them listed alongside real users. What I ask for, is that you can right click them and "label as bot". Putting them into a different kind of 'listing' on the 'see who is in your chat' popup. This does not mean you kick them, or ban them or etc... it just means that "you" can see whether they are bots or real users. Or any User on your channel when opening up the list of viewers, can see that they are at the bottom, listed under…

Simplify/Streamline the Reporting Process It takes 4 clicks, then a description to report someone in chat.
Surely there doesn't need to be 3 pages of a dozen choices each in order to sort the reports. I'm not aware of any other platform that approaches reporting this way.
In cases where a busy chat is being raided by malicious actors, you will let most of them through without being reported, in the time it takes to report one.

Have an "other" option when reporting someone's stream For lesser offences when it's not a huge deal or if someone fell asleep on stream or if someone has been afk for multiple hours and only simply need their stream stopped and not needing a ban

Assign a unique ID to users Assign a unique ID to users connecting to streamers (based on hardware ID if possible, IP is too easy to change) to make creeps and toxic people easier to get rid of. If that's even possible, I have no idea but it doesn't sound too hard. I don't know for sure what this means server-wise, I'd imagine you'd need some place to store these IDs and this place would get pretty cluttered if every user is assigned an ID per stream but... food for thought. Maybe have it be assigned after a message is sent? this way you wouldn't have…

Allow helmet cams for Live Streams on Motorcycles. Moto Vloggers from YouTube are making a transition into Twitch but in the TOS you arn't allowed to drive and stream. I think you should be able to have the Helmet Cam while on a motorcycle.

Inform broadcasters of potential alts on the same IP as a punished user Many streamers have the same problem where someone is abusive in the chat. In this case, they are banned. It is more than common that the same user would come back on an alt to continue being abusive in chat.
My suggestion is to notify broadcasters/chat moderators of accounts that are on the same IP as someone who has been banned or timed out, so that they could deal with them accordingly. This could even be extended to allowing broadcasters to IP ban people from their chat.
Yes, there may be a problem with people using VPN's, however this is…

Ability to block of viewing live stream by IP address for fighting with "stream sniping" I have a server for playing. Too many users watch stream and use information from it in the game. I know IP address of each players on my server and want to have ability to ban them on twitch. The idea is that when player connect to my server then my server call twitch API to ban user for viewing stream, when user exit from server then server will unban him.
I think that it very good feature to help in fighting with stream snipers.

Add a feature that bans an email, instead of just the account, it would then be harder to create new accounts to troll Add a feature that bans an email, instead of just the account, it would then be harder to create new accounts to troll.

Vote banning or muting A mod can't always be watching or all knowing, why not let the chat be allowed to decide who is spamming or being rude to the streamer. I propose a system in which a person in chat can select the person who is being disruptive and issue a stream wide vote. If majority or a certain number of people vote yes they will be banned (or muted) for a certain amount of time. Maybe if they are banned through this system mutiple times they will get increasing longer bans. This system will allow a chat keep itself tidy without the…
