Add a warning system to rule enforcement The Twitch Rule enforcement system needs to be updated. The hardline enforcement is incompatible with the "per-case" approach when it comes to users being reported on the platform.
I believe that the system in its current state makes it too easy for bad actors to abuse the reporting system and use it as a means to remove streamers for violations that didn't happen, and I also believe that it makes it harder for streamers to defend the violations (via appeals), as when a streamer is suspended/banned they cannot review their VODs to see if or even when a violation took…

harassment Require verification to follow a channel.
Over the past couple years on twitch a person, or group of people have been DOXing me constantly using their usernames to do it. I think the best way to deal with this is use the email and phone verification and allow streamers the ability to have verification as a requirement for following. I would specifically go with phone number myself.
This has again been going on for years and twitch has been no help when reaching out to them to stop this from happening.

Don't warn the chatter when their message wasn't sent due to moderation settings When a chatter sends a message containing a banned term, they are met with the following message:
"Your message wasn't posted due to conflicts with the channel's moderation settings."If the chatter is a harassing chatter, they will most likely just find a way to get past the banned words filter.
Example, in this scenario the word 'apple' is banned:
-> Chatter: 'Man, I really love this apple!"
<- Twitch: 'Your message wasn't posted due to conflicts with the channel's moderation settings.'
-> Chatter (trying to get past the filter): 'Man, I really love this app1e!' (notice how app1e gets…8 votes -
Can we please have more alternative options for blocking people? I want to suggest that there should be an alternative option to blocking users. I feel it should be with the Report button on the About tab. I am aware that there are other ways to block users, I just feel we should also be able to do it on user profiles.
And if they somehow have you blocked already to where you cant block them on their profile, then proceeding to typing /block [username] in your chat would be the next step.
I hope this idea is considered, I'm sure its been considered before but really there are so…

Release ban reasons to those who were banned in a channel Just an idea that the person who is banned from a channel should be informed of who banned them from the channel (broadcaster or moderator of the channel) and the reason included (if a reason was given).
This shouldn't just be for the mods and broadcaster of the channel. This wouldn't be shown to those who aren't banned from the channel unless they're also banned from the same channel.
"<User 1>, <User 2>, etc. are banned from <channel name> by <broadcaster/mod's name> because of <applicable reasons>"
This would help the person understand why they're banned and if it was an…

Watermark Feature To help mitigate content theft across Twitch channels, please consider adding a Watermark Feature so that Streamers can place a watermark somewhere on their content when they're streaming and/or on their VODs.

Content/trigger warning system like the tag system I'd really love to have a content warning system similar to the tag system. It would auto-populate based on the current game or let streamers add warnings for Just Chatting or Talkshow streams. I'd prefer the system to be more opt-in than a popup every time you enter a stream. It would have a button near the category and tags part of the UI that reveals relevant warnings. It would be super nice if it could be user configurable to display a pop up only if a user navigates to a stream that contains a warning they've chosen to be…

Susension account time line. I have been suspend since April 2022 of this year. The Twitch staff has not told me how long I am suspend for. Can you please make it more clear when accounts are suspend.

SWAT safety This might not be within twitch's power, but perhaps some kind of SWAT safety database made available specifically for law enforcement. Just something for law enforcement to reconcile an accusation (swat worthy) against streamers, as they are easily targeted. I acknowledge this is a rare event, however this seems like a small overhead to implement

help against harassment and sexualization of women in stream Create a department of referents to help women streamers defend themselves against harassment campaigns. To bring them a real help and support tool so that they can more easily file a complaint in their regions and to offer administrative models according to the countries.
To make bad sexist behavior visible and make this look old-fashioned1 vote -
Blocking another user should prevent them from seeing your messages If I block another user I would prefer they not see my messages in chat at all due to safety, not just me not seeing their messages, please make this possible, thank you.

Chatbotting/Viewbotting Why won't you enable human authentication???????????
Such as, "Select all photos that are showing traffic lights..." etc...
Twitch bots are ruining your platform.
Honestly its not that hard to get rid of them. Your monitoring/authentication process is atrocious. It wouldn't surprise me if Twitch was supporting these botting sites and allowing BOTS for more ad revenue/publicity and numbers.
Embedded and fake views should not count. It's not that hard to get a server, run some simple python commands that create accounts in the thousands. Then let them chat, and even mimic other user's input to make them seem authentic.

Prevent Banned Users from Joining Raids Block users banned from a channel from joining a raid from the channel the users are banned from to the raided channel, and also not notifying the banned users the name of the raid target channel (specifically the notification appearing on the top of the chat when the raid is about to happen).
As with a raid, the raiding streamer will be in the chat of the raided channel, and the raiding and raided channels usually have related communities, malicious users can use this opportunity to continue harassing the streamer or spreading damage to related communities, despite being banned from…

A way to suggest games to be banned from Twitch. Sometimes a new game gets released and its not listed under banned games even though it should definitely get banned from Twitch. There should be a way to suggest new games to get added to the list... Don't know why you don't have one already.. this is a gaming site...........

block whole channel!! block whole channels! i blocked a streamer that sucks as a person and i keep getting raided into their channel anyways - if you guys won't delete his stream for the multiple reports of bullying from multiple users, pleasssse at LEAST make an option to stop me from winding up on his channel. i know my view isn't counted on a raid, but i don't want it to even look like i might be watching

turning off host feature and HOST 2FA please allow streamers to turn off the host option.
we can block raids, but we cannot stop channels from hosting us, which is now being exploited and bad actors (some evading bans) are now hosting accounts with a malicious intent.,in addition to this
i would also like to have the option to ONLY ENABLE HOSTS/ AND RAIDS FROM USERS WHO HAVE PHONE NUMBERS VERIFICATION added to their accounts11 votes -
More tools for Creators to prevent minors from watching their channel It's great that you have a "mature content" label as an option, but any kid can still simply click through that, they don't even need an account. Many creators that I watch simply don't want kids in their streams for various reasons.
Make it so that creators can also require a login for the video stream of their channel to show up. Maybe when you click into the full stream it gives you an alert that you need to login.

Those who make a purchase (e.g. bits, subscriptions, etc.) should be treated as phone-verified. Those who make a purchase (e.g. bits, subscriptions, etc.) should be treated as phone-verified. I only use a VoIP phone number, so I can't phone verify. But I do have an Amazon Prime subscription, so I can get 1 free Twitch subscription every month. My payment information is on file, so if I end up being a creepy stalker guy, you can easily trace me through the credit card, right? That should be good enough to stave off trolls. Let me be treated as Stage 2 Verified (stage 1 only requires an email address) if I either have my payment…

Option to not remove mod and editor when timeout Many streamers does timeout on mods as joke or redeem by channel points.
But is a hassle to have to put it back mod and editor on some of them.
Would be better to have an option to the mod/editor role to be not removed on timeout, and act like the vips who can be timmed out without losing the role.
