  1. Allow editors of a channel more permissions, either basic default ones or ones that channel owners can allow/disallow as needed for individual moderators/editors.

For example, changing the Go Live message and adding/removing VIPs. I believe if the channel owner trusts the moderator/editor enough to have access to ban, change titles, edit/delete vods etc, they should be allowed to help out with go live messages and other stream/chat maintenance.

  2. While I can understand the rationale behind channel chat and whispers being treated separately, the fact is that users who are banned for inappropriate behavior often follow up by harassing the streamer directly through whispers. Here is a potential workflow I can think of:

Whenever a mod bans a user from a streamer’s channel, it triggers some kind of message/notification to the streamer that a user has been banned and asks if the streamer would also like to block/ignore. Additionally, there can be an option for the streamer to auto-block in these instances where mods are trusted and there may…

  4. 18+ Tag or Filter

Since there is a lot of interest in allowing nudity on Twitch with games and art, it would be best for them to implement a proper 18+ filter or tag allowing the user to clearly see. The mature warning you receive before watching the stream is mostly ignored, so adding some restrictions for users under 18 would help a lot with future streams.

  5. Give streamers an IP ban button. To avoid bots abusing it, Twitch looks at a combination of x follows, x hours streamed, x average concurrent viewers, and x subs and makes a determination if the streamer gets access to this button. Aka, if someone has streamed for thousands of hours, and has 5k followers and 100k total views but 5 average concurrent viewers, they get it. But if someone has 75 average concurrent viewers + many subs, but only 5k total views, they also get it.

Twitch compares the IP to a database to check if it is a VPN,…

  6. Hey guys,

I would love if there was a way we could ban/disable anonymous cheerer/gifter as a option for the streamers. I'm not a fan of the fact I have no control over this.

    Thank you.

  7. Asmr and cosplays should have mature audience warning or enter age to view stream. Most of the Asmr sessions and cosplays are adult oriented not suitable for children to view. Some Asmr sessions are ****** noises and cosplays are usually nudity. Also helps to put a mature warning on there channel. Like NC-17 or Rated R. Enter with caution.

  8. Today, the only available options are to report abusive actions are to report individual people, ie either the streamer or someone specific in a chat; basically individuals.

The problem is, moderators on some chats get the power in their hands go to hteir head, and since some rather big streamers delegate this job to them precisely because they cannot monitor what happens, it creates a void in which allows abusive behaviours to happen.

The moderation problem is specific in the way you don't know who issued an individual moderation action against you, hence you cannot even talk to him/her (provided…

  9. Currently in the title and category editing page, editors are not allowed to change the notification, for those like me who use the help of the moderator when they are organizing the prelive, and who customize the notification based on the broadcast, it could be convenient this feature!

  10. It baffles me that this is not already a thing considering there are so many insufferable narcissistic twats and rotters streaming these days but PLEASE for the love of god allow or give us the functionality to BLOCK streamers so that they never appear to us at all.

Yes there is the function whereby we can remove them from appearing if sorting by "Recommended for you" BUT they still appear if sorted by any other means which is often because if you sort your channels by "Highest Viewer" count for example, you can't avoid some of these. PLEASE PLEASE Allow…

  11. This feature would allow creators to allow and disallow follows to protect against spam, such as followbotting. If a user starts to get followbotted, they can turn off follows, and problem fixed. It will lead to less issues in the future going back and forth with support and stressing about whether or not you will be banned from Twitch.

  12. Please create the option for an account age chat restriction (similar to follower only mode) so streamers can restrict newly created accounts from trolling/harassing in chat.

When necessary, brand new Twitch accounts could be restricted from chatting by allowing the streamer to pick the length of time accounts need to have been created for before they can chat. (24 hrs, 7 days, 14 days etc).

This would potentially be even more effective at dealing with certain types of harassment compared to a 10 min+ follower only mode because it would allow for the average twitch viewer to still interact with…

  14. Add a "Testing Mode" for those given mod permissions on a channel.
Currently, only admin/channel creators can manage emotes, channel points, alert gifs, etc. but many times, someone else creates custom gifs and images for the creators. It would be very useful if mods could activate a "testing mode" that allows them to manage emotes and other channel images (avatar, banner, channel icons, etc.) unofficially (doesn't save, but can see how the channel will look with the new images.) This would be useful because it would make artists jobs easier if they need to test the pixels sizes and resolution…

  15. Moderators on the browser and desktop versions of twitch have incredible access to moderation tools such as mod icons, mod view etc. this makes handling larger chat rooms incredibly easy for a group of mods working together.

Unfortunately I, like many others, am in a position where I am a mod for a larger community, yet am often on the go and find myself using mobile twitch far more often than desktop. This makes it so much harder to keep chat under control, as the current moderation process on mobile is utterly laughable. Messages that would be deleted instantly if…

  16. Give streamers the option to tag their content as Ultrawide for viewers who may prefer watching in a 21:9 or wider aspect ratios.

  17. A lot of the time, users get banned for saying things that could be considered hateful or homophobic in Deere's chat, but it's hard to process an unban request because there is no real context around what was said.

It would be nice to be able to be able to click a message in someone's chat history and be able to expand the rest of the chat around the time the user said said message.

  18. It would be nice if we could have a second chat view that we could be provided with filter criteria, like "following less than X time" or "Account is less than X days old".

A lot of the time, troll accounts are throwaways and it would be easier to catch bad actors quickly, especially in situations such as raids where chat moves fast and it's hard to follow.

  19. Can we possibly get a feature that Mods/Editors of a channel can use to hide certain extremely toxic comments from the Streamer?

  20. It would be a rank of "Channel Moderation Manager" and "Channel Administrator". The rank would still be the legendary sword but with the background in yellow. This would be available to Affiliates and Partners. Max 2 per chain.

It would be used to add / remove moderators. To be able to manage them (I saw the idea for the integration of a channel so that the moderators can discuss between them, it's a very good idea)

To be able to access admin functions such as changing panels, see badges / emotes / Channel points.

The goal is to help the…
