New Power-Up feature and it's shortcomings. Please update it! Power-Ups are a new feature that add to channel points. At the moment it's 3 bit redeems that you can spend. There's "Gigantify emote" which makes an emote huge in chat,
"Message Effect" which makes your message extra flashy in chat, and "On-Screen Celebration" where you choose an emote to spam on the screen and make a celebratory noise.Here's suggestions to fix the complaints people have about Power-Ups
- Allow people to toggle them off! (If nothing else, fix this)

watch streak resets i have recently experienced on a couple streamers i follow that my watch stream streaks automatically resets without knowledge of whats going on and why it reset. it is very frustrating having to have your count reset when you continue watching these streamers on a daily basis. there should be a fix to make the watch streaks not reset.

Watch streaks for all streamers I would love to have Watch Streaks on my channel. I have seen it in other channels & I think it's a great way to help people gain channel points for other activities in the stream. This should be for every Affliate & Partner :)

Watch Streak Resetting Despite Not Missing Streams It is incredibly disheartening to have created the goals of reaching at least a 100 watch streak on your favorite streamers only to have all of your watch streaks reset on the same day, presumably due to either work on the system or a bug.
I'd rather not have watch streaks if you aren't capable of keeping them tallied accurately.

Moderation settings for preventing Channel Points usage on unverified accounts There should be a Moderation section in the Channel Dashboard committed to Channel Points. Allowing the channel owner to block access to using channel points for anyone not already following, or anyone without a verified email or phone, would all be immensely beneficial options to prevent harassers exploiting a system intended for the fun of actual chatters.

Channel Points Twitch alert bug I have added the browser source to OBS and have an alert set in Twitchs own alerts service which should show in OBS when a channel point redemption is redeemed.
It is not showing. If I click 'send test alert' in Twitch alerts the graphic displays as it is meant to HOWEVER upon redeeming it refuses to show. I've tried all sort of trouble shooting and googled to see if others have been having a similar issue and there are many who are. Bring option to turn off/on channel points back I turned off my channel points on June 8th before the roll out of the Power Ups. I only wanted to do it for 1 stream.
After the update rolled out, I am unable to turn my channel points AND power ups back on. Please fix this!!! My community can’t gain channel points let a alone use ANY rewards.

Allow up to 6 channels to count for points and as views I have had complaints from multiple chat users today that their channel points were not collecting. On further investigation myself I have concluded that Twitch have AGAIN changed their policy on how many channels views/channel points count for and have now reduced it to a maximum of TWO CHANNELS?!
This is RIDICULOUS!? It impacts viewers negatively as many channels they watch will offer giveaways/rewards/etc. for channel points which they like to collect. In addition it impacts streamers negatively as it significantly lowers their average viewership.

Channel Point Leaderboard Having a Channel point leaderboard visible to everyone and allowing viewers to opt in to show off how many channel points they have (some lurkers won't want to be displayed on the leaderboard) kind of like how there are gifted sub and bit leader boards this will encourage people to stick around more to climb the leaderboards (could also make it optional for monthly channel points/ all time)

Selectable Point Profiles Allow us to select channel point redeems and save them under a profile/page that we can switch to.
ASMR stream? ASMR only redeems.
Silly Just Chat? Have silly redeems profile that clearly wouldn't have a place in ASMR.
It would be a lot more convenient than having to toggle redeems on and off prior to stream depending on content of the day.

Set redemption prices to points and/or bits With the latest feature where three new redeems are added that costs bits instead of points, it did give me an idea:
Let us set the price of all redeems in points and/or bits. You have to set the price in one or the other, and if you leave a field blank (or at 0) you can't pay in that currency.
When choosing a redeem, there can be two buttons, one for points and one for bits. Always display both, left for bits, right for points, regardless if it's available, so the buttons are always in the same location.

Add "Gigantify Emote" for channel points if streamer wants to Some streamers really enjoy the Gigantify Emote feature for bits, some don't. I have heard from some streamers and myself that we want to have a feature for some of these power-ups to be as channel points too.

Smart Costs The Smart Costs function that is available for standard rewards should also be available for custom rewards.
Ideally, this should also be extended to include other things such as the length of the text when "Viewer must enter text" is active.
Would be super practical if you combined this with tts or generally play sounds and these are spammed.

Major Watch Stream Streak Improvements I think these watch stream streaks need major improvements for a few problems I have encountered since the watch streaks were started between November and December 2023.
For example: Almost a month ago back in February 2024, there was one streamer I regularly watch (who I will keep anonymous) had some internet issues on their stream and it caused a lot of people to lose their big stream streaks, including me, from a combination between the internet problems and Twitch combined. Channel Points For Different Sub Tiers Right now, there are only badges and additional channel point accumulations to incentivize Tier 2 and 3 subs, plus whatever the streamer builds in as rewards, but I would love to add a third benefit to this list, that would also help streamers. Having the ability to assign different channel point redeems to different sub tiers would be a great tool to be able to take a system that is already well known, and add to it, without having to find 3rd party outlets to incorporate. Watch Streak notification removal from the Channel rewards Pop up for Viewers Hey, my Idea is rather simple. Give the viewers the possibility to hide the "Watch Streak" notification. It takes up ALOT of space in the Channel Rewards Section.
PS: i checked the recommendation of disabling it in the Channel points section of the Dashboard, but thinking about it, that is not an option every streamer wants to take and the watch streak notification in that section is rather useless anyway.

New redeem-type: dropdown menu I would like to propose the addition of a new type of redeem that I think would greatly improve the user-experience on Twitch. This new redeem type will be a dropdown that offers the viewers with a selection of pre-defined choices to pick from.
