   I’d like to suggest a change that could significantly improve the experience for many streamers on Twitch, especially newer and younger creators. Currently, features like Polls and Predictions are locked behind the full Affiliate onboarding process, which requires tax information and payout setup. While this makes sense for monetization tools like subscriptions, Bits, and ad revenue, it doesn’t align well with how Polls and Predictions actually function.
   Polls and Predictions use Channel Points, which are a free, non-monetary system earned by viewers simply by watching streams. Since no real money is involved, requiring financial and tax information to access these features creates an unnecessary barrier. Many streamers don’t intend to monetize right away—they simply want to make their streams more interactive and engaging.
   This issue becomes even more impactful for younger streamers between the ages of 13 and 17. These users often need a parent or guardian to complete tax and payout information, and not all parents are comfortable providing that. As a result, these streamers are locked out of key engagement tools that could make streaming more enjoyable and interactive for both them and their audience.
   Without access to features like Polls and Predictions, streams can feel repetitive and less engaging. This can reduce viewer interaction and even discourage streamers from continuing, as they don’t have access to tools that help make their content more dynamic and fun.
   A potential solution would be to separate Twitch’s features into two categories:
   Monetization Features (require tax and payout setup): Subscriptions, Bits, ad revenue, and payouts
   Engagement Features (no financial setup required): Polls, Predictions, and Channel Points-based interactions
   This change would make Twitch more accessible, especially for newer and younger creators, while still maintaining proper requirements for monetization. It would encourage more engagement across the platform and help streamers build their communities before deciding to monetize.

2. viewer recognition and view detection

   I mean, the issue is, that views and so on often aren't detected by twitch (or being not seen as what they are) while you still get channel points by chatting and being on the stream

   I gain a lot of channel points even as passive chatter (as some streams I simply enjoy watching and listening too especially when being sick in bed) and yet the streams simply sometimes won't be registered as actual views for a streak, but the channel points get more and more.

   So one thing I ask myself is, why doesn't it register you as a viewer when you not muting the stream or tab? Could it be possible that as soon as you need to switch windows for example to reply to a mail the stream gets seen as "background playback" and not being noticed anymore? And if so, why is it possible, to activate background play on mobile devices anyways?

   I mean, I don't get it why things are like this in the first place... you want to motivate users to be more active on twitch and watch more streams of the streamers they like and then you basically punish them for things that are out of our control anyways?

   If a viewer does not get detected for what ever kind of reason it basically says "you missed a stream, bye bye watch streak" (even when you have been an active chatter and clip creator).

   So the thing is... if activity on the channel should be detected by active things... why is it, that on some streams that I mostly listen to I get watch streaks and on others where I chat a lot I am ignored by twitch?

4. Watch Streaks not being logged for some users

   Watch Streaks are not being logged for some users.

   I have seen chatters in multiple streams, including my own, saying that they are not getting the notification to share their watch streak, nor the interface to view it at the bottom of the chat etc, in any channels ever since the site-wide roll out.

   This also applies to myself, despite being involved in the beta as both a streamer and viewer. I have Watch Streaks enabled in my dashboard, but no one in my chat is able to earn them, and I also do not earn them myself as a viewer. I know some of the streams I regularly watch definitely have Watch Streaks enabled as I can see other chatters sharing their streak in these same chats that myself and others do not get the pop up or interface for.

7. Favouritism and Trolls

   This person named buckythemascot is a troll because he is always a coward and a trolling around the chat on maedawn's chat and i can't stop him for spamming redeemed because buckythemascot always up to something. Whenever to talks and left few minutes or hours. buckythemascot is the last straw that never to seen him again especially favouritism streamers.

9. Channel Points Conversion

   I have several channels I watch with channel points completely idle and nothing to spend them on and others where I actually want channel points to spend. I'd like to be able to convert these idle points that I can't spend into points of other channels. Maybe something like 10:1 conversion from 1 or more channels where you have up to 100,000 points (points can't be pooled from multiple sources) to up to 3 other channels in a single transaction each for 3 total transactions per month. 100,000 cap per transaction from a source channel to 10,000 points of another channel.

10. Multiple Channels Points

    I would like to submit feedback regarding Channel Points accumulation for users who subscribe to multiple channels. When watching several subscribed channels simultaneously, Channel Points are only earned for a limited number of channels (approximately 2–3). As a result, subscribers do not receive Channel Points for all channels they financially support.
    In many of the channels I support, Channel Points are used by artists and illustrators as a way for subscribers to redeem creative rewards, such as YCH (Your Character Here) drawings. These rewards often require a high number of points, such as 30,000 or 50,000 Channel Points.
    I subscribe to these channels specifically to accumulate points faster and actively participate in these community-driven art activities. However, when multiple supported artists are live at the same time and Channel Points are only granted for 2–3 streams, I directly lose the benefits I paid for in the remaining channels.
    This limitation significantly affects the value of subscriptions, especially for users who support multiple creators and wish to participate in channel-specific activities and rewards.
    I understand that not earning Channel Points for channels I do not financially support would be reasonable. However, this situation is not acceptable when it affects paid subscriptions.
    If this limitation continues, I would be forced to cancel memberships beyond 3–4 channels, particularly in channels where Channel Points are the primary form of engagement and rewards. This could lead to fewer viewers, fewer active members, and reduced support for creators who rely on Channel Points to maintain interaction and community participation.

11. I wish I could see how much I won in a past pradiction.

    Sometimes a new prediction starts right away so I miss how much I won. and its really frustrating when I want to check and see. even if its only the past hour! I would still like a bit more time or a better chance to look.

14. Prediction screen is bugged it is too high up and the notification is blocking my the predications

    When i try to participate in a prediction the prediction screen is too high up and clips into the top of the chat where i cannot see it and the notification for the prediction is also blocking the actual prediction which means i cannot take part

    チャンネルポイントを使用した予想のときに、ポップアップが非常に邪魔。
    4択だったとして、一番上の項目がポップアップに邪魔されて非常に選びにくいし、項目の文字も見えない。無駄なポップアップは消えるようにした方が良い。
    ほかが快適な分、とてもストレスに感じる。

16. Option to Disable

    Give us an option to disable predictions. I don't want to use them and should be able to no see them ever when I view streams. Its very annoying see half of chat gone because of predictions. I know you won't do anything about this cause I have seen like 100 other things saying the same so if you see this help out please.

17. Watch streak not updating

    I was recently watching a stream. I'm on 74 streak and it was supposed to increase to 75. I watched only the one stream, got points, tried different browsers and even the app.

    It didn't update whatsoever. The streak stayed the same, it didn't reset (yet) nor did it increase. I've seen other people addressing the same issue.
    I contacted twitch support, but they just told me to come here without addressing my issue or offering me help in knowing what is going on with my streak.

    There should be a manual check in which could be used once per stream, not this system which tells you if you have a streak or not. The users themselves should be able to claim the streak. The automated system is buggy and inconsistent. Current system can be kept, but an alternative option should be added.

18. When you click on the GREEN channel point button it should not move

    When you click on the GREEN channel point button it should not move arround or give you links and info about EARN POINTS - That is totally not needed. If you click it 2 times by mistake it pops up a 3rd un needed useless screen now. Started around 2 4 26 and needs to be removed ASAP! Your wasting our time with this screen.
    Who ever thought this was ok does not watch TWITCH at all!

19. stop ! LAYERING THE CHANNEL POINT BUTTON.

    When you click on the GREEN channel point button it should not move arround or give you links and info about EARN POINTS - That is totally not needed. If you click it 2 times by mistake it pops up a 3rd un needed useless screen now. Started around 2 4 26 and needs to be removed ASAP! Your wasting our time with this screen.

20. Visual cues that you are earning a stream streak

    Currently stream streaks just vanish because the view count doesn’t change. You get no message saying you missed it and no way to make it up. Add a visual showing if you are getting credit for the current stream each time and saying why you aren’t in no credit is being given. If twitch gets money for the commercials viewers deserve credit for watching the stream.
