Giving/Sharing Channel Points To Other Viewers

I think users should be allowed to give their channel points to other users. You choose who you want to give your channel points to and how much channel points you want to give them. It could be useful in multiple circumstances.

For example, a user has 45k channel points and wants to redeem a reward that costs 50k. A different user may be generous and then give the first user 5k channel points so they can afford the reward.

Since streamers have infinite channel points for their channel, they could give users points too. For example, they could have an event where chat plays a game and the streamer gives 50k channel points to the winner.

Also, you could add a setting for streamers so only certain users can give or receive channel points, such as allowing only subscribers to give channel points to other users, including non-subscribers, or not allowing only non-followers from receiving channel points from followers. This could work in case streamers don’t want non-subscribers or non-followers from receiving free channel points or something.

Allowing users to share channel points with other users could allow viewers to interact in ways other than just predictions. Plus, this would allow streamers to create their own ways of allowing viewers to receive channel points without requiring multiple complicated new methods.

    guys i found a new program called lumia stream this is a great program for streamers u can use it to set ur own channel points up ppl can gamble there points and give points to others on it iv been use it for awhile now just thought id let u all know

    This would be a great feature. I know some streamers use the StreamElements points system because you can give and add points. The downside is that the points can only be used with tools attached to StreamElements and cannot be used in Channel Predictions. I have well over 5 million channel points in one streamer's channel and wish I could share them with the community. I look forward to the day this can be added.

    It would be great to be able to Transfer Channel Points between viewers. Sometimes I see someone lose all their points and I would like give them some of mine so they dont feel so bad.

    you could just redeem the challenge for them instead. but adding a /givepoints [user] [amount] would be a good idea too!

    Now that Predictions are a thing, how about letting viewers manage their points?
    I mod and therefore cannot use my points in that channel so I'd like the freedom of gifting a regular viewer or sub with user-defined quantities of points that cannot otherwise be used by me... or any mod for that matter.

    This would give incentive for viewers to be more polite and more interactive.
