  1. As a user, I would prefer that my social actions not cause any notification to the broadcaster or the chat.
Such actions include (but are not to be limited to) following, subscribing to, and hosting a twitch channel

  2. Basically I would love to have a follow and un-follow alert notification when someone followers or un-follows my Twitch channel. I am surprised it is not already a feature on Twitch. It would be very convenient to have for us streamers who "follow support" each other. Please consider a follow and un-follow alert for streamers. It takes a lot of time to maintain.

  3. Allow there to be an extra option to let other streamers contact each other, instead of messaging. A drop down option of a calender with open time slots with options for other streamers to play with each other for an allotted time. The streamer picks from the games that the other streamer plays and twitch sends an email to the streamer showing the request (the game and time slot) allowing them to accept/deny it. To make this feature only available to fellow streamers it would have a required number of followers set by the streamer whos allowing incoming request. That…

  4. In 2022 Twitch, based on the feedback, provided the link to annual recap instead of including the data into email. Today, Jan 14th, this link is not working already. I.e. all my data - as a streamer and viewer - lost forever. And I could not compare them with previous and next years, which for me, as content creator, provides a lot of benefits.
Could we include both ways - link AND actual data in email - for 2023, please?

  5. We are all still very confused when there is a raid and we can't host the next stop. People who are left behind, people who walked away from their computers, people who got the notice too late and clicked, come to an empty channel, or a channel with an autohost that is not where all our friends went.

Because you removed Twitch "friends", we can't see where our friends are that way either.

This is a daily frustration for us.

Idea: "Autohost raid recipient" option which works similar to how hosting used to work. If you enable this option, then…

  6. Currently the way users can look into previous VODs or Clips is in a very limited form.

    Past broadcasts:
    - Add the ability to limit the searches based on custom time ranges
    - Add the ability to search by keyword/title

    Clips:
    - Add the ability to limit the searches based on custom time ranges
    - Add the ability to search by keyword/title
    - Add the ability to search by category (similar to VODs)
    - Add the ability to search by username of person who created the clip

There are some 3rd party websites that have these features but they are…

  7. Hi there!
I recently noticed and enjoyed the new Monthly Recap feature on a few of my favorite streams I've subscribed to and I really enjoy the stats! Then I noticed I received an email stating that my stream was one of the ones selected to participate in the test of these feature. Excitedly, I shared the notion with my friend and first subscriber (who has been consistently subscribed since I reached affiliate) and we were quite bummed out to find it wasn't working. Normally, I'd have just guessed that I wasn't chosen, but I was specifically emailed with notification…

More Info Needed  ·  darkstorm responded

    Hey everyone!

The team has let me know that the issue with panel 3/8 should now be fixed. Could you please let me know if you're still experiencing issues? If yes, please explain the issue in more detail.

As for the Monthly Recap not being visible, you should be able to see Monthly Recaps either on the Creator's channel page or on your Subscriptions page.

Please let me know if you're still not seeing this and we can go from there.

    Thanks y'all!

  8. I really didn't know where to post this, but I'm bored of accounts doing folliw-unfollow just to get attention. It's useless, annoying and only fools the system and the streamer. I've been target even of well established channels.

My proposal is to restrict the follow-unfollow to a certain time (e.g. 1 week) or penalize a channel if it has a repeated f-u behavior.

  9. Basically, this idea would be for if a person were to unfollow a channel, a prompt would show up asking them to give a reason as to why they're unfollowing. For example, a streamer's content has been "getting old or repetitive" could be a reason, or they are "not interacting with their chat" as much, or any other reason like that. A streamer could enable or disable this feature depending on whether or not they want feedback from the people who unfollow them. The Twitch users who do unfollow can also choose to not answer why they are unfollowing, and…

  10. We need two buttons to be able to activate on our security panel:

+Only e-mail verified accounts can follow my account

+Only accounts created for more than 24hrs can follow my account

I sincerely believe that this would help prevent bot attacks or at least, be a shield for those already suffering from them to buy some time for Twitch admins to delete all bot accounts.

  11. A lot of the time achievements are done to show them off, and on Twitch you can't see what people have accomplished stream-wise! I think it gives viewers and other streamers an idea of how a channel is doing in terms of progress and how active they are

  12. There seems to be a persistent issue where custom panels on the about page are cropped oddly on the right and bottom sides of panels. This has apparently been an issue that has been going on for years and hasn't been fixed. Resizing the bottom and right side of a panel can only do so much but it still crops out part of the image automatically. This must be some sort of bug in the coding to cut off that much of an image. Please fix this issue.

  14. As a streamer you know you can use/set panels underneath your stream, but sometimes you just want to disable one, it's not possible you find out then and you'll have to delete it. It would be handy if you can disable them to not need to make them entirely again (i'm talking about the text and links with them now btw)

  15. The about section has a limit of 300 chars, which it doesn't stop you from breaking; it just truncates what you entered. This can lead to lost edits, which antagonizes creators who want to use the site's features.

  17. Highlights misleadingly have the text "Check out this <game> stream from x days ago," which isn't appropriate, since highlights are very different from full streams. These videos need to at the very least have a prominently displayed title, and it must be very clear whether a video is a stream or a highlight.

Example: After the trailer, my first featured video is a highlight from 21 days ago of me reacting to a hype train. I don't want it misrepresented as an example of "a <game> stream" with no further information.

  18. While streamers may stream at the same time every week on their schedule, they may not stream the same thing on each day. Having common presets for titles, categories and tags for games or activities that we actively cycle between will make it easier when for scheduling rather than having to retype them out whenever we change things up.

  20. I would like the ability to turn off the view count number. As a streamer, I don't want to feel overwhelmed by a view count. But I still want to be able to monitor the followers and be able to access my panels and twitch channel without having to worry about a view count. I think the ability to toggle off the view count would be a small but good option for a streamer. Maybe even have an option under channel and video settings that says something like Turn Viewer Count Off or something like that.
