thumbnail API to make stream snapshot and use it as next live thumbnail.
People should be able to have an option to choose their next/preferred thumbnail if they desire.
Currently, as i understand for live content thumbnail is randomly taken snapshot of stream every 5 min.
Some streamers stay/pose in one position for some time to get thumbnail that they want. This kinda takes time and adds awkward pause to stream.
Some don't know or don't bother about it.Would be cool if they could run a command that will take snapshot from stream and use this snapshot for next thumbnail.

In the 'Clips Manager' screen of the creator dashboard, you cannot hit 'Watch full Video' until you go to the page that clip is shown on yo In the 'Clips Manager' screen of the creator dashboard, you cannot hit 'Watch full Video' until you go to the page that clip is shown on your page, requiring an additional navigation step that forces you away from the creator dashboard into a new view to access the Watch Full Video button. you should have that same button in the clips manager to cut out additional steps in that desire path. I think another critically useful feature would be a lightweight vod editing timeline, that works in tandem with channel clips, showing individual sub clip timeline-esque dual scrubber bar sections…

solicitud I'd like to request an adjustment to my account. I accidentally misspelled a letter in my name. My current name is "el piscol," but I meant to write "elpiscot." However, my keyboard has been malfunctioning, so I can't see the letters clearly and made the mistake. I kindly request that you correct my name to "Elpiscot." Thank you.

Watch Streak chat posting setting is missing I used to have a setting to turn off allowing chat to post about Watch Streaks or receive notifications. I had it turned off. That Setting is now missing and when you click the link while searching Settings, it takes you to the page that used to have it, with the option missing. Currently the setting is clearly back on in my channel.
An affiliate friend of mine still has the toggle. I have reason to believe this was disabled for Twitch Partners specifically.
You are contradicting settings that I set for my channel that I use to help foster…

Social Media Badges I'm simply writing this to request that the social media badges be released. I have earned up to the Pro level badge and Twitch says that I have received it, but I still do not have the badge yet. I'm aware that this is a BETA, but when are we actually going to be able to use our newly earned badges? I would like to use it and promote Twitch's new features! I also would not mind getting involved in Twitch's new features that come out in which the company can use me as an example of a creator that…

Clips having issues recently (accuracy) I often help clip for streamers, trimmed nicely so that they have a well organized collection on their pages.
Just this month though I trim nicely, the output of the clips have been oddly inaccurate, as if shifted 1-2 seconds earlier than what I intended.
Also, while clipping today, the clip interface says clip has been made, but it does not exist in my content.
Tried another browser but issues persist.
Hope someone can look into this really minor issue that hasn't and shouldn't suddenly exist.3 votes -

Alert for Watch Streaks I think it would be amazing to incorporate an alert for watch streaks in twitch alerts so our community members can feel extra special for watching our streams

Do not impliment the AI auto clip tool Twitch has implemented a sign up for an AI alpha auto clip tool. This is very unethical in many ways to not just content creation but also to things outside content creation.
I ask twitch to remove this sign up and not engage in any use of AI when it comes to content creation.
Facts about AI usage
- Google’s single Iowa data center alone consumed 1 billion gallons of water in 2024. The first way AI uses water is for cooling. Data centers run thousands of powerful computers around the clock. As these machines crunch numbers and manage data, they…

Potential Copyright Abuse and Fake Artists Not sure if this has been known, but I got a copyright warning for streaming Minecraft using the in-game music. But the problem is that the examples given to me (I.E 'my lil n**** by Sunny Bogues) is definitely not music from Minecraft. At least I only got a warning, but this can quickly become worse if nothing is done about this possible abuse, or misunderstanding. Not to mention, I don't even think that Sunny is a real artist, as I could not find their name on Spotify. (Edit: For clarification, the creator of Minecraft's music, C418 has allowed his…

Watch Streak Settings Enable Streamers to be able to customize watch streak alerts, for streamers with more than 100 concurrent viewers the watch streak messages can be too frequent, making reactions insincere from the community.
Allow Streamers to enable "sharing" at a set interval of their choice [25,50,100,etc) (for example: can only post first alert at 100 day watch streak). The Next Alert Message would also be customized by the streamer at their decided milestone [25,50,100]. This would allow streamers to take advantage of the tool as well as recognize large milestones instead of smaller numbers.
