Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.
For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

If AI is going to be trained off of my livestreams I WILL be cancelling all of my subs, deleting my account, and moving my content elsewhere.

automated opt-in is a terrible idea, and making only "some" features have the ability to opt-out from is tipping its toes to theft and lying.

This happens, and trust will permanently be shattered and will NEVER recover. People will leave the site - Streamers and Viewers alike - and all that nice Cash that this is being done for will ultimately dry up in the long run.
I cannot imagine who looked at how the world is finally catching up to the grift that is LLMs/GenAI with an anger that can and will take companies out, and then decided "Yes! This is a good idea!~"
Don't be ******* stupid.

I'm tired, man... Generative AI has absolutely no place what-so-ever in any creative space, as it is built from the ground up off of scraping pre-existing material, then recobbling it together into some mass of algorithmic output.
I have already had to opt-out of AI related features within moments of going live and have blocked global emotes confirmed to have been generated by AI.
For what purpose?
Doesn't this open Amazon to possible mass lawsuits? How many video game companies would be against such a thing? They barely give us grace as it is. We already have TV and Movie studios watching Twitch with a magnifying glass. Music companies wait for just 3 notes of something they own to be played to mute your stream.
Surely this will only cause problems for everyone.
For me, a smaller streamer who's trying to find their place out here, this makes me want to just give up.
I am too old. I am too tired. I am more willing to get food from the soup kitchen than to get my grocery money from entertaining my community on twitch anymore.
If this comes out in full force, I am done.

Forcing opting us into genAI features is an astronomically bad idea.
You have an entire platform made of various creators - without, said platform would fail to exist. The VTubers on your platform would have to leave due to the terms behind their models' existence, too. Our artists almost always have a "no genAI" ruling when it comes to art and general usage, and this would make it to where we either just don't have our models on screen, or we don't stream here at all.
I am genuinely asking y'all at Twitch - ask your streamers before you start adding stuff. I assure you, we can help with deciding what's useful for us, since it's nigh apparent that y'all don't have streamers in the team to make good choices.

Generative A'I' has and still is just automated plagiarism. It shouldn't even be around people who want to strictly police the exact shade of purple they want their promotional materials to be for the sake of branding, seeing how the tools you're endorsing are practically incapable of following such a simple command as 'don't deviate from this specific value of purple.' Expect people to deliberately mess up your branding and excuse it on said flawed technology.

If twitch goes forward with stealing content to feed slop, I'm deleting my account and cancelling all my subs. Opt out is not enough.

If you implement AI scraping or training that is not opt-in by default, I will take my community and go. I will take the dozen or two subscriptions I have on your platform and invest them elsewhere. I do not consent to having any of my artistic works, my voice, my character, or my stream used to fuel such a worthless technology as Generative "AI". The writing is on the wall for this technology and any potential gains are merely speculative. YouTube Shorts is dead. It is a wasteland full of slop. Do not deign to turn Twitch into the same. Do us all a favor and avoid the reputational freefall that will happen if you implemented such integrations.

I don't consent to any of my content being used for AI purposes. Opt out by default is a step, but we would vastly prefer it if you didn't use ANY content for AI at all.

The principal of everything that i do requires that none of my content be used for the training and generation of Langauge, Image and Music generating software. I will leave the platform entirely if my voice, my likeness, my music, my humor is used for the profit of someone else at the expense of my planet's health. I refuse to participate in a platform that would willingly rob me of my ingenuity to sell it to the highest bidder

Twitch, you need to, at the very least, make these AI features opt in/out. I don't want my streams scrubbed for use in Generative AI under ANY circumstance and this completely destroys my enthusiasm to stream if it's forced upon me.
Best case scenario, these features aren't implemented at all.

Seconding everything Aoigeofthegrove said because they're the first comment I saw and more importantly their words summed up my feelings better than I could articulate right now.
"As a streamer I don't appreciate having AI shoved down our throats every time we want to stream. All the other streamers I know on this platform also don't want Gen AI in their streams as well and I feel that this will do more harm to the platform than good. Please for the good of all, don't make our content be used as training for Gen AI"

If you invest money into AI you will go bankrupt once the bubble bursts. Then we'll just lose Twitch altogether. You can be smart about this or you can let some silicon valley MLM shmuck take your entire business.

I do not consent to having my data used to train AI. The fact that you have to keep shoehorning things in and hiding it behind opt-out means that you know no one will sign up for it so you have to juice your numbers and make it seem like its an in demand feature.

We do not want AI, we do not need AI. Gamers hate it, creatives reject it, common folk with common sense see no need for it.
It does nothing but a money sink for the rich people who own Twitch and Amazon, and the “people” who support them blindly.

First, AI shouldn't be used at all. Second, features like this need to be opt in by default.
Implementing this is a platform killer as far as I'm concerned.
