Fix Advertising Bugs I have consistently had buggy ads for over SIX months.
The ads will roll very intrusively as usual in the middle of the best parts of streams and causing you not to hear or see the stream. Overlay Ads Live programing is different than pre-recorded. Therefor, the ads used should be different.
Overlay ads, like what used to appear on TV, would make sense. Either shrinking stream (like Twitch did for a brief period), or having a dedicated portion of the screen they would overlap (so streamer could plan accordingly). But visual only ads, no audio. The benefit is that viewers are more likely to actually watch the ad too, instead of switching to another activity, as the content they're involved in is still going on. Unrelated Drops (Ads) Twitch Drops being used as ads is disgusting.
When it's a promo related to a game, that's one thing. But what is this Apple TV/Music? These streamers aren't using Apple TV/Music. I'm 100% certain if they were streaming THE VERY CONTENT OF THE DROPS, that they're be muted or DMCA struck. And EVEN WORSE IS OPT OUT!!!!! Why is this on by default? Every other drop you have to turn on. This is the most disgusting Ad thing Twitch has ever done. Not leaving such streams open. And it's REALLY not the streamers fault.

Werbung abändern Die momentane Werbung, die seitlich vom Stream eingeblendet wird und dadurch Streamfenster verkleinert und danach wieder vergrößert, macht einen kopftechnisch nach gewisser Zeit kirri. Möchte nicht wissen, wie stark andere das negativ wahrnehmen.
Bitte macht die Ads meinetwegen, wie teils schon, unterhalb vom Stream wo eigentlich Titel etc. steht, hauptsache nichts am Streambild wird skaliert. Da könnte man auch die Werbespots für andere Dinge machen, wen es interessiert wird schon drauf klicken.

Add a way to skip ads with bits If a streamer runs ads at a bad time, add a way for viewers to skip ads at the cost of 1 bit per advertisement. This would help viewers not have to sub if they can't afford a sub but also be able to not miss any content if they wanted to see that part of a stream

Give Creators More Options for Ad Frequency The games I play and my content style does not lend itself well to ads every hour. And, to be frank, 3 minutes isn't a long enough time for me to actually have a proper break and get the things I need to get done done during my breaks.
I would greatly appreciate being able to run longer ad breaks less frequently to better work within the shape of my content.
Specifically, I think the addition of options for 4.5 minutes of ads every hour and a half and 6 minutes every 2 hours would be very helpful so that…

COUNTERMEASURE for trying to bypass ads is for ads that play joining stream or refreshing the stream will be chained/multiple ads so that audiences are more inclined to sit through the 1 ad or less ads than joining.

Spanish ads in Poland. Improve ads targeting There is huge issue with Twitch targeting ads. In Poland there is massive amount of Spanish ads. Issue exists for couple of months. Please improve ads targeting and stop displaying worthless ads that no-one understand in Poland

Tone down the greedy/scummy practices How about not being so scummy about ads... if I want to not watch a channel the ads will pause... imagine if cable used to do this. I barely use twitch as much as I used to solely because of this.

skipping ads bug I noticed on darthmicrotransaction's live stream that I can skip the ads by pressing the ""resubscribe"" button, the commercial ended immediately and I went right back to the live stream. I dont know if this is a bug or not, but I choose to be honest about this.

Incentive program does not show estimated value since January 2023. Hello everything is fine ?
Let's go, in 2022 I joined the Twitch ad incentive program.
At that time, until December 2022, the panel showed an estimate of how much I would earn.
However, since January 2023, the value only for minutes no longer appears.

Additional ways to Earn bits to YOUR account. As the title states, we REALLY need something like this, the Ads for bits was great in its prior state, then "multiplayer' ads came about and wrecked it. Twitch rpg surveys were nice too yes they basicly became ads but at least they paid. why not revive twitch rpg and give it daily ad surveys that pay 30~100 bits for a 10 minute survey? or for that matter why not an extention that harvists your browser data, serves and ad or two and exchanges it for bits? the reason for this is earning free bits is techicly still around but…

offline money making idea Making extra money. Most of these big channels have many users in offline chat chatting all day. Run ads in these channels when user is off line for extra income. Make it so it doesn't matter if they have a Sub or Turbo. They still get a pop up ad if they are in a offline chat.
I used to chat on yahoo and ICQ both if not all chat rooms have ads. Aol chat rooms had ads.Why not run offline chat room ads? The Users are in these rooms chatting.

Variation of the Advertisements Right now i am getting one and the same Ad sometimes 3 times in a row in the same Ad-roll, and most of the time during the next Ad-roll as well. Although Ad's are to support your streamer, spamming the same Ad 3 times in a +3 minute Ad-roll is getting very very annoying.
Is it possible to make some sort of algorhythm (or improve that one) so you won't see the same Ad every Ad-roll, or like +/-6 times every hour? More variety would make the ad'sperience more natural.2 votes -
Predictable Ads - Best solution for both sides? I very often get ads in the middle of an intense situation or an interesting conversation. This is very frustrating and in the last weeks, I just turn off Twitch because unpredictable ads in the middle of the stream just don't work in a live stream for me.
If there are no ways to reduce the ads mid-stream, maybe give the viewers more control when the ad is played.
So for example let's say there has to be X ads in 30 min, just give the viewer the option to start the ads at a given time.

Amount of ADS I keep trying to watch ads, but it's only about 3 minutes of consecutive ads :(
