1. Watch Time scale for ads BY VIEWER

   I don't watch twitch. But I did. I have been actively avoiding it for a couple years now since the ads literally stole absolutely everything I enjoyed about viewing a stream. The first time I wrote a comment, and got a streamer's attention - and then RIGHT as they were reading and answering my comment - boom - 30 second taco bell ad...
   It's the most greedy, lazy, and ham handed approach.

   Really, my idea will ONLY work if you wake up from your fever dreams of infitine growth and infinite profits - and start LEARNING HOW to CREATE INFINITE PROFITS ... If you set the margins too high my idea won't work.

   Basically, I'm a twitch account user. I go inactive for a number of months... When I go to a stream and have to PAY UP FRONT by WATCHING ADS, and then know that at any time I will get a straight DISRESPECTFUL INTERRUPTION ... I leave. I tell my friends that "Sorry, I won't watch twitch". My 5 dollar channel subs expire and - why - STREAMERS EARN IT!!

   Infrastructure costs - that is fine. Operations costs, ok. But thiis is a BRAND you guys have, HUGE, with how many people all farming paychecks pushing PAPER in a CIRCLE... while STREAMERS WORK, they Play, they Engage... the good ones. They WANT to grow this is a PROJECT for them... and you all stomp your fat feet in front of them and ABUSE the very people they are trying to ENCOURAGE. ...

   You're awful, and why should I come here to tell YOU - "PROFESSIONALS" - how to do your job? HOW to DIGNIFY your Brand, how to RESPECT your customers. How to CONDUCT - MFing BUSINESS. I'm a LOSER that many wish death on PRINCIPLE of POVERTY ALONE and yet - here I am.

   This is a lil ranty but this has been coming your way for a long time twitch.

   Look, if someone only watches once or twice a MONTH, no more than 10 minutes at a time... No ads for them. Makes sense? .... YOU are INVESTING in MY EXPERIENCE. ... Just like I had to INVEST in TWITCH and YOUR SHAREHOLDERS by missing MY moment to have MY comments read, to be a part of MY "community" as you *****-balls call it... Do you understand?
   The more a viewer WATCHES, you slide the ads up to the NORMAL AMOUNT.

   Wouldn't it surprise you that - accounts that watch the MOST, that roll all your ads no problem, are probably being streamed to places where people have a different setup, a second screen, a way to WALK AWAY during ads because we ALL do... So they give the LEAST value to your advertisers while at the same time taxing your hardware the MOST...

   So fix the inequity. Encourage newer and first time viewers. Give them VIEWER FRIENDLY ADS, and less of them, until they rack up enough time that week that they need to start seeing more ads to "cover your bottom line" as your ham-handed CMs would probably word it. ...

   Your awful and greedy and BEYOND saving, STEAMERS will be BETTER OFF without PEOPLE like YOU there at twitch - making stupid decisions that harm their projects.

2. THANK YOU: Audio only ads

   I just want to say THANK YOU to whoever thought of and implemented audio only ads overlaid on the streamer’s video stream, like a podcast. I am actually still engaged with both the ad and content. Such a great improvement for users to stay engaged with the stream AND still listen to the ads. To any advertisers who would still prefer video ads, READ THIS FEEDBACK: if you have a video ad, I will just go on my phone and ignore u, but with the audio ad, I actually listened bc I still had attention on the stream. Twitch I hope this gets you more advertisers willing to do audio overlays only!!!!!!

5. Option to run ads for longer times

   Currently the max you can run with one button press is three minutes (one hour of no pre-rolls). Allow us to increase that to whatever we want, for example I would like 6 minutes of ads (2 hours of no pre-rolls).

6. ads are annoying please implement them better

   I missed so many very important moments while watching bc of 2-3 min long unskippable ads that covered the whole screen. I rarely watch twitch anymore bc the ads are super annoying and block content so that I miss important moments in peoples streams. I think it would be nice if there was a skip button of some sort so people can continue to enjoy the streams and not like a min in jus like 5-10 sec ads PLEASE.

7. Fake engagement

   I have seen many unengaged creators using artificial mechanisms to earn money with ads. In addition to being an unfair way, this can cause problems for Twitch by taking money from ads without having the audience to do so. Today there are many mechanisms that appear to be authentic public but are not. With Moss.gg for example. Lives by creators who are part of this type of "networking" often have dozens or even hundreds of people watching them, but they do not represent a real community. This is easy to see when you see that there is no engagement in new subscriptions, bit donations and even no one typing in the chat. It's as if they were ghost communities to make money from ads and gain false attention. I, as a content creator who works organically and in a real way, feel harmed and worried about the future of the platform because I don't understand what people are doing to circumvent the guidelines and make non-existent mechanical engagement. I think that Twitch should better supervise the progress of its community and take action against the use of false engagement, as in addition to harming real creators by causing a mess in their channel highlights, it takes money from the platform that they have no right to have

10. New Audio only adds are way too loud

    Much like with radio or spotify ads, the new audio only ads Ive experienced are much louder than the content I'm watching. It may technically be made to match the sound level of the content, but often these types of ads are compressed to seem much louder. Hopefully ads content is reviewed ahead of time before they are published and can catch this type of artificially boosted loudness. Ive not experienced the same problem with regular ads.

11. Skulls & Bones Ads Are EXCESSIVELY LOUD

    Watching a stream, which at a point it was very quiet, immediately a short "Skulls & Bones" ad plays & it was uncomfortably loud, I could hear it 2 rooms away. Ads love to have loud volume to catch the viewer's attention, but people who have sensitive hearing could get very anxious, or panicky. other ads are nowhere near as loud as skulls & bones. it was extremely obnoxious.

14. Will not watch stream with bright white letterbox ad, way too bright on Critical Role

    I'll watch the ads at the beginning and the middle. I have for years. I understand the need for advertising. But letterboxing the stream inside an ad is ridiculous, especially one so bright it's going to give me a migraine. Until this is fixed I will only watch Critical Role on Youtube. Goodbye.

    thank you for pushing me to use an add blocker. i can barely enjoy a stream with all the adds and FORGET about browsing streamers, 2 min of adds just to see whats going on lol. The last 2-3 months have been awful. thank god my favorite streamer started multi streaming to youtube so i can hangout there as much as possible. I understand that my feedback doesnt mean **** but i just needed to rant about how awful twitch has become

16. ban all sexual content from twitch

    If twitch does not revert all changes allowing nudity and sexual content, I will be cancelling all subscriptions, myself and my teenagers will no longer visit the site, and I will reach out to any and all advertisers that I can to express my discontent. This is disgusting and outrageous what this site has turned into.

17. Stop giving me French ads.

    Its been over a year and still receiving French Ads. I don't care you guys give us ads, but just because some of us live in Canada, does not mean we want French Ads. Give us an option to disable bilingual ads or something.

20. Please remove the Verizon Trumpet AD it's way too loud and causes me physical pain(i suffer from migraines from such abrasive noise.)

    There is a Verizon trumpet Christmas ad I'm sure they paid very handsomely for. I also know the CALM act only applies to broadcast TV and not your online ads. However this ad is ridiculous and plays constantly. It's literally loud trumpet noises in your ear for 30 seconds and has given me painful migraines. Most of your users wear headphones and get blasted twice an hour with that ****. Come on guys.
