Reduce the time of ads A 2min ad in a LIVE stream its the worst user experience ever. If you wanna play that amount of ads that are being played right now, it needs to be fast and under no circunstance take away the streamers screen.
I have been watching a live for the past half an hour and im getting 2min comercials every 6 minutes. Thats the type of thing that makes de users to quit watching.
Unbelievable bad experience.

Delaying adverts when raided When a streamer ends their stream and shares their community with another via raiding.
They are currently subjected to the raided channels ad settings (preroll vs midrolls). With midrolls they can raid in just before an ad break starts, which subjects them to the adverts.
In some cases this can happen within seconds of joining the stream.I propose a way to automatically snooze an incoming ad break when a raid comes in. We already have the ability to snooze ads manually and if I remember correctly gift bombs and cheers can also delay adverts, so why not raids?

Improvement for the ad manager to disable pre-roll ads Would we have a way to make sure the ad manager to make sure that pre roll ads. I will give a example of the issue I run into and what I would like fixed.
you start and have a 3 min ad - pre-roll is off for 60 min
after the 60 min the ad manager plays a 90 second ad for 30 min pre roll getting turn off
hour latter the 90 second ad will play and now you have pre rolls off

Provide AI real-time feedback to creators for ad and tag overlap Easy solution for twitch and for everyone. Have an AI listen to the videos and tag them appropriately in real time. Have each tag display the percent of total ads that that tag is okay for. This gives direct feedback to the Creator when they can easily see what topics they need to avoid if they want to keep the highest percentage of ads and revenue. And each time an AI applies a tag, have it give them a direct quote and timestamp from their VOD and maybe even a short clip tied on their account that they can review…

Display how many ads were actually played in the analytics tools Currently you can either run ads manually, or have an ad scheduler play the ads. But ads are not always available to be played, and some regions may not get ads, or ads may not be played for a variety of reasons (viewers being subscribed, adblock, etc).
I think it would be great insight to be able to see exactly how many ads/ad time were actually played during stream in your analytics.

Toggle Option to Adjust Midroll Schedule Based on Manually Run Ads When ad length and frequency is set to manual, if the streamer triggers a manual ad break before their ad break would normally occur, the system properly skips the next scheduled ad break.
HOWEVER, it does not adjust the ad schedule to compensate for this new "ad time".
EXAMPLE:
1- Ads set to 3 minutes of ads every 60 minutes of stream.
2- 50 minutes into stream (10 minutes before the ad break would start), streamer manually invokes a 3 minute ad break.
3- The scheduled ad break at 60 minutes is skipped (as expected).

If you're going to increase the preroll time from 30 seconds to 45 seconds, let your users know and have them be skippable like youtube There has been no word about this from twitch, but after testing it myself as a viewer and streamer I've noticed that preroll ads are now 45 seconds long.
I am not tuning it at the tail end of midrolls, I tested this earlier today (10/31/2024 at 2:38AM Eastern). I do not have the ads manager on and I only run 3 minutes of ads during my starting soon screen to disable ads for the first hour of stream and let prerolls go after that.

Offer "Run 5m Ad Break" As A Quick Action Button I have my ads set to run 3m per hour, however, there are times during stream when I'd like to run a longer ad of up to 5m (grabbing a stream snack, refreshing my coffee / tea, or using the restroom). Can I have that longer ad stream button?

add problems A few months ago, I started seeing ads on channels where I normally pay for a sub. I thought the issue would be solved if I upgraded to a higher tier subscription, but instead, the problem spread to other channels as well. Sometimes it’s a 40-second ad that skips after 15 seconds, or it shows four ads but only plays one. I think it’s glitching, and lately, it’s happening more often than I would like

Hear Stream while ads play without paying please I hate that in order to continue hearing the stream I have to pay. Ads block all sound of stream and I dont mind having ads on but I'd like the ability to still hear whatever stream I am watching without having to pay. The ads are incredibly loud compared to the main stream at full volume too. Even if u limited ads to only be set half volume when playing I just wanna not have to miss half a conversation from a stream.

Allow us to accrue more time without Preroll ads The main reason I stopped running mid stream ads is because it is MORE disruptive than prerolls if you do longer streams (12+ hours) like I do.
To put it into perspective, if I wanted to disable prerolls for at least an hour every opportunity I can I would have to run at least roughly 30 minutes of ads, that's ridiculous.My suggestion is that we are allowed to accrue at least 2-4 hours of no preroll ad viewing, then after that time is up we could run midroll ads during a break and have things even out more smoothly…

A way to get a ad free month - watch one ad then opt in for more. A new idea for making ads less off-putting. This may not even be possible. I was thinking that a panel ad starts (I love them, by the way). Then, give an opt-in button to get more ads. Then, after each ad, you get a point. With enough points, you can get stuff, from emotes to whatever you guys can think of. But at the top end, you get a free month of ad-free viewing—not a sub, but just no ads for a month.

Stop playing overlay ads on live streams Stop playing 30 second unskippable ads over videos. Change the volume of the ads Some streamers have very quiet voices, and some keep their voices down because it's nighttime.
If you turn up the volume to hear them, you end up with loud, uninhibited ads that threaten to burst your eardrums.
I heard that when watching a streamer you don't normally watch, there's a grace period before ads start playing, and that's one reason.
It's certainly a nice consideration, but I don't want to risk my health because of it.
