Add/create "gift sub to active viewers" Just like there's a "Gift Subs" Category (to random Twitch accounts), create an option to "Gift subs to Active Viewers" (at 5,10,15,20).
Maybe it would be easier to create a separate Tab Category label it:
"Active Viewer Gift Subs" with, 5 subs, 10 subs, 15, subs, 20 subsI personally would prefer my gift subs be given to the viewers that happen to visit or follow a Streamer I'm following or watching...!
I'm aware your "gift sub" works on some algorithm, but you should strongly consider my suggestion! Viewers WILL love it!

Notify users two days before their subscription renews If twitch is going to take the time to store user emails and phone numbers it wouldn't hurt to send a text or email a day or two before they charge your account.

Gift Sub Bomb weighting It’d be nice if the gift sub engine was a little more... thoughtful? Channel/community-centric? Basically, when you gift sub bomb a channel with (x) subs, the subs I’d like to see the gifts be given in this order:
- First, be given to the most active people in chat for that stream session.
- Next, subs are gifted to remaining viewers in the current live stream session.
- Last, if EVERYONE watching is already subbed, gifts are given to non-subbed followers of the channel based on their follow age.

Gifted Twitch Turbo In the drop down menu for the Gift to the Community for which tier sub you wish to give (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3), add the option to gift a month of Twitch Turbo to viewers as well.
This would incentivize massive amounts of support across the entire site, as now the out reach of hype trains and subathons of each streamer would benefit everyone everywhere.
The viewers would be encouraged to watch longer streams with the lack of ads anywhere, while the streamers would receive additional Twitch Turbo revenue due to there just being more turbo viewers on…

Give us the ability to gift Turbo subscriptions! I believe that implementing the ability to gift Twitch Turbo to other users only provides benefits. Not only does it generate more money, it allows users to browse streamers ad-free leading Twitch enjoyers to find new upcoming streamers instead of only watching the streamers they're subbed to.

Give bots a non-paid sub role. A lot of Twitch streamers, affiliates and partners alike, use services like Nightbot and Streamelements for automated services. They are bots and do not contribute financially to Twitch on their own. Twitch bots also periodically use emotes in certain automated tasks, and require a sub for them to use these, among other things. It would be nice to be able to give known bots a non-paid sub, -OR-, allow bots to use channel emotes and other sub-related services permissible by Twitch.

Subscription to Stream / Watch in High Quality If Twitch has troubles to be profitable, why not make a subscription to let Streamers make content in high quality (like 1080p 60fps 6000kbps~8000kbps or more) or Viewers watch high quality streams ?
And the free limit would stays around like 720p 60fps or 1080 30fps with 4000~5000kbps, for example.
On mobile in particular, I think its worth due to the screen size, the diff will not be that annoying, and in bonus it will be less energivorous.
In hope to see less "features" that beg money depending on the generosity of people, more revenues for streamers or even less…

Twitch on PlayStation & Xbox I am a regular Twitch consumer. I watch Twitch mostly on my PlayStation 5. The experience on the app is however, not as satisfying and flawless as in other devices, such as PC or mobile. There’s so many ads that play throughout streams, and there is zero way to subscribe to the channel you’re watching. It is not the most convenient thing to log into your PC or mobile just to subscribe.
Overall, I think you should be able to access these things on the Twitch PlayStation app: Subscribe to a channel in all tiers, subscribe to Twitch Turbo, collect…

The Way You Disperse Gift Subs is BS I've been monitoring gift-sub dispersal lately. I was just in a stream with 50 viewers and someone dropped a 10 gift-sub bomb. Only 2 users in the channel got a gift sub, the other 8 went to people who werent even in the channel. As usual I got passed over for a gift sub.
I think you should re-think your gift-sub dispersal algorythms.
Another time I was in a not so popular streamer's chat with 5 viewers, a 10 gift-sub bomb goes off and I get passed over. Seems Legit......

Sub cancellations were outside of my control due to hardware/living situations. This is just a smack in the face. I did NOT get the choice if I WANTED to stop streaming, I HAD to stop streaming. My computer was dying and thanks to crypto and scalpers it took six months to get a graphics card for a new build. Gee, I wonder why my subscribers didn't renew? Option for viewers to upgrade sub tier for a specific time period Allow viewers to upgrade to a tier 2 or tier 3 sub for a specified time. For example, upgrade to tier 3 for a single month to celebrate a special occasion, or just as extra thanks to a streamer, even if the viewer isn't able to sustain a more expensive subscription. Allowing a set time lowers the reluctance to try out higher tier subs for the fear of forgetting to lower the tier back again later.

Greater transparency in the number of subscribers for all viewers It's hard for viewers to see how many subscribers a channel currently has. In my opinion, this number should be visible to everyone as well as the number of followers and current viewers. Some of the streamers display numbers (but for the most part they don't). Sometimes new subscribers are counted per stream, sometimes the current month is mentioned and a number and a target value, but it is not clear whether these are absolute values.

Pay as you want subscription Allow a pay-as-much-as-you-want for a subscription.
Give the option to subscribe from $1 or 1€, up until as much as you want, as basic or extra support for the streamers

Unfair to region For american/canadian users the price of a sub is $4.99 tier 1, and an affiliate gets just under half of that amount. In the UK we pay minimum of £4.99 per tier 1, which evidentally means we are paying more than americans/canadians but after conversion rate we are receiving less than americans/canadians.
We pay more yet receive less and i think that is totally unfair for a tier 1 sub at $4.99 is roughly almost $7 yet we only get just over $2 for that sub, thats almost 70% profit from the EU you make as you pay us less....

Overpriced in New Zealand The blog posts states that “the price of a Tier 1 subscription on the web is roughly the equivalent of $4.99 USD in every country”. In New Zealand it costs $9.99nz for a tier 1 sub which is over $7us. This also needs to be addressed before assessing new sub costs based on cost of living in New Zealand. I currently use bits more to support streamers but these are probably also overpriced for New Zealand.
