3. Reappearing notification about cookies.

   I keep receiving notifications regarding my cookies, both in OBS, and the web-browsers Firefox and Vivaldi (Chromium).

   Every time when the web-browser or OBS is restarted the cookies needs to be accepted once again!

   How do I get the cookie notifications to stop on Twitch after accepting them, just as cookies works on other websites?

4. Change Ticket Product when changing username

   Currently when you change your username, your ticket product (the name that appears on subscription receipts) stays as your old username. Please make it match your current username so people don't refund subs thinking they are subscribed to someone else.

5. Confirmation before username change

   When you go to change your username, there is no confirmation to make sure the change was intentional. It should ask for a confirmation if you are making a 2-6 month commitment. It should just ask "You are about to change your username, is this correct?" As it is now, you can be trying out different things and if you accidentally hit enter, then you have to live without a username of your choosing for 2-6 months. I am really shocked this hasn't been implemented. I can't even look at a website without confirming my choices about cookies, but I can commit to a 6 months name change I didn't want. This is not right.

   I would like to see the ability to toggle notifications for our followers.

   Sometimes I don't want all my followers to see I'm going live, especially on days where I may stream multiple times. Some days I would like to go live without sending out any notifications.

7. Use discretionary usernames for new sign ups and for people who don't stream

   It is next to impossible to change to a new username for two reasons:

   1. The majority of user accounts are people that view only and don't want to stream. There are 140 million active users and only 7 million streamers!!!
   2. It takes forever for an inactive or closed account to release the username, much longer than the "advertised" 6 months, and it's been already 8 years since you said you'll do something about it.

   A good idea would be to use aliases/discretionary usernames for existing and new users that are not affiliate/partner (active streamers), like discord with the #xxxx. Once a user reaches affiliate then they can choose a username of their own.

8. Allow diacritics in display name

   Diacritics (accent marks over/under/around letters; e.g. ú, ÿ, ç, å, ē) are important in spelling rules for many languages. There are a number of situations where a diacritic can be the difference between a common word and a horribly inappropriate one.

   The display name field on Twitch should be extended to allow diacritics alongside capitalization changes to a username. This would add at least some level of support for a large number of additional languages with a relatively simple change.

9. Connecting to Discord occasionally fails

   This is a kind of bug report.
   When I connect from Discord to Twitch,
   Discord didn't appear in Twitch connections page.

   As a result, when I'm streaming in twitch, my Discord status doesn't turn into "Streaming".
   Of course I enabled streamer mode.

   This issue seems to occur for seven years.

   I solved this by repeating reconnecting until Discord appeared in Twitch connections page.

    In my opinion, Twitch is showing weakness by wanting to make changes at the last minute to ❝Fight❞ against the competition.
    TWITCH is bigger than that. Twitch has always shown stability and that is very important in this area. Stability that no competition (streaming platforms) manage to have, no matter how many streamers they hire, they return to Twitch (no matter how much they throw hate speech at the purple platform). There I wonder if it is necessary for Twitch to make changes or simply go more aggressive.
    My question is, if Twitch is not profitable, why do the streamers come back after finishing their contracts on the other platforms? And if they can't come back, would they leave?

    What other platform achieves:

    • Traffic of people
    • External advertising that decides to advertise their products, games, etc., on twitch.
    • Games that decide to broadcast their competitions and tournaments on twitch
    • Spectators, because when a transmission closes they continue browsing the site in search of another.
    • Fidelity
    • Variety of streamers.
    • Once the transmission you are watching closes, you can continue to see content of the same or better quality on the site, just as captivating
    • THE MOST IMPORTANT: STABILITY. Because the years go by and twitch is still stable, it doesn't do crazy things to attract big streamers.

    Therefore, for me, a suggestion is to veto people who decide to go to another platform. Because those who leave know that they will end up coming back. THERE DOESN'T EXIST, nor will there ever be a stable, sustainable platform that people feel comfortable with. And I don't want to name the others but you already know what happened with encouragement, booyah, facebook, mixer.

    There are things that cannot be bought with money. Spectators, people traffic, without them there are no streamers. And that is provided by twitch.

    For this reason, I wonder what will happen the day that Twitch decides to ban those who decide to go to other platforms for life. Will they really leave? None manages to be sustainable and profitable over time. They leave and come back haha after throwing hate on twitch, why do streamers come back if it's not profitable? There they are, in the past, cheer up, booyah, facebook, mixer, because they believe that with money they have an audience and it is not like that. There are things that cannot be bought.

11. Merging Twitch accounts.

    Merging Twitch accounts.

    Twitch is quite a young platform. But in the future the number of “dead” channels will increase, the so-called “Internet graveyard” will be formed. I propose, add a function “merge accounts”. Here's how it should work:
    For example, a user has two Twitch accounts (either his, or he was passed the data from the account, so to speak by inheritance). And the user wants to use the “merge accounts” function. He enters the data of both accounts (confirms). Then the user opens a page with the data of the two accounts (like a comparison table), the page displays all the data: account creation dates, follow (date), channel points (number and their spending on channels), paid subscriptions (their duration and other paid features), the number of posts (make them more than the limit of 999 +, as it can be called part of someone's history and Twitch itself). The user, can choose the setting from one of the channels. Important: except the name of the account, as it will be added to a special “Account Tree” (about this at the end).
    In more detail:

    The first channel named “qwerty” has the following details:
    Registration date: September 3, 2018.
    Username: qwerty
    Following channels: A, B, C, D, asdfg
    Channel scores: A=480, B=15670, C=460, D=28400, asdfg=300
    Total number of messages on all channels: 4784 (can be done separately for each channel)

    The second channel named “asdfg” has the following data:
    Registration date: October 18, 2020.
    Username: asdfg
    Following channels: X, S, B, C, qwerty
    Channel scores: X=67020, S=14880, B=34060, C=7810, qwerty=300
    Total number of messages on all channels: 68943 (can be done separately for each channel)

    Note: The second account is always the primary account. Integration settings will be made on it. This means that phone number, email, 2FA will remain unchanged from the second account unless the user wants to change them.

    1. Registration date: September 3, 2018 | Registration Date: October 18, 2020.
       The user selects “Registration Date: September 3, 2018.”

    2. username: qwerty | username: asdfg
       The user is left with the name “asdfg” and the name “qwerty” is sent to a special “Tree of Accounts” (about that at the end).

    3. Following channels: A, B, C, D, asdfg (tracking date) | Following channels: X, S, B, C, qwerty (tracking date)
       1) Channels that are not following from the main account (second account): The user can choose to subscribe to channel A (start tracking again) or import the date from the first channel.
       2) Channels that are following on both accounts: As channels named B and C are repeated, the user can select them by tracking date. For example, the user selects channel information (B and C) from the first account, accordingly the tracking date will be earlier.
       3) Channels which are only following on the main account (the second account): The user cannot re-track a channel, as settings are imported to the main channel. Which is already tracking this channel. In this case, it is not possible to import settings.
       Note: If the account names used in the “merge accounts” are the same as the accounts being following on both channels, they cannot be imported. Since the first merge, account is sent to a special “Account Tree” (about that at the end).

    4. Channel scores: A=480, B=15670, C=460, D=28400, asdfg=300 | Channel scores: X=67020, S=14880, B=34060, C=7810, qwerty=300
       Depends on the channel actions. Channel scores are combined into one.
       Channel A – The user can transfer points from the first account or start watching again.
       Channel B – Since the user is following the first account and the second account, they can combine them into one. That is 15670+34060=49730. Or choose the number of points on the main account, 34060.
       Channel C – The same case as in “Channel B”. 460+7810=8270 or 7810.
       Channel D – If in (3. Following channels) the user decided to import from the first account, the points are also transferred. On the other hand, if the user started following the channel again, the points are not transferable.

    Note: If the nicknames of the accounts are the same as the merge accounts, the points are not transferred in any way.

    1. The total number of messages is displayed in the User Card. The number of messages from the main account is displayed first, followed by the number of messages from the first account in parentheses. It looks like this: 68943 (4784)

    Possible limitations of the “merge accounts” feature:
    To avoid spamming this feature can be introduced a restriction, if the account is registered on Twitch less than 5 years, then the merge is not possible.

    Special designations: For example, you can change the color of the data that have been transferred from another account or make a special mark next to them. Like “*”, “this data was imported”.

    Rewards: You can create special badges. For example, “More than one”, given for the first merger of accounts. Also, in each user's User Card, add “Account Tree”. It is transferred from account to account with each use of the “merge account” feature, starting with the first merge account. The “Account Tree” displays basic information about the account.

    Hi, for those uses 2 or more Twitch accounts, can you make life easier for changing the user. every time I switch the user Twitch asks me to enter password send to email. Like twitter, instagram, TikTok we should be able to change twitch account easily. Thanks

14. Option to view and manage permissions for connections

    To help users manage security for their accounts: I propose the Settings > Connections page should list the specific Permissions (or OAuth scopes granted) For each account connection.

    And there should be an "Edit" button. Instead of completely revoking a connection: We should have the option to Remove or withold any granted permissions/scopes of a connected app that we want On this menu.

    There should also be some options to block/remove some of the requested permissions on the page at the time when initially authorizing a connection.

    I propose that the Highest-risk permissions which Apps can request be made so that the account owner can Always choose to block some of the requested permissions by an app individually when authorizing apps, and 3rd party app developers are not allowed to know or prevent witholding high-risk permissions, such as:

    1. Send chat messages
    2. Read stream key
    3. Mod/unmod users.
    4. Delete videos/clips
    5. Change automod settings
    6. Send/read whispers

    Many apps don't need these Or don't have to be designed to request these to provide the features people want from those apps, even if there are some features that require one of those permissions.

    Security should take priority over convenience for 3rd party app developers in the case of the most sensitive account permissions.

15. Clarify username change limitations before sign up

    When creating my account, I was stuck on what username to use. Twitch showed a message during the sign up which said something like "Don't worry, you can change this later."

    So I thought, ok I'll just put anything for now, and once my account is set up, I can change it to something else.

    But after I finished making my account, I went to the settings to find I had to wait 2 months before I could change my name!

    I feel like I was provided some false reassurance and now I'm stuck for 2 months with a name I didn't want. The message provided was misleading and resulted in a poor user experience for me.

    The username message at sign up should clarify the timeframe required for username changes, as it currently gives the false impression that I can change my username immediately after I sign up.

16. PassKey Account Login Feature

    Please consider adding a new feature called PassKey for an even more secure way to log In to your account on the Twitch Mobile App on iOS. PassKey allows you to login to your account without a password instead you receive a text with a code on your mobile device that you use to log In. 20. disable 2fa without switching numbers or using authy

    there needs to be a way to disable 2fa without having a phone number or needing to sign into authy (which requires a phone number as well). i have gone through your automated support since December of last year with no resolution other than "Our policy is typically to not remove Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) under any circumstance, as doing so would defeat the purpose of your account having that extra level of protection.

    When reviewing the information provided for the account we were unable to verify ownership and as a result, we will not be able to remove 2FA from the account in this instance."

    so there is no way for me to regain access to my account at all because there is no way around your automated system.
