1. Watch Streak breaks on random even though one is active in the stream.

   I mod for quite a few channels on Twitch. While modding for someone, I lost my watch streak even though I was actively modding for the person. I never got a notification to keep my watch streak or to recover my watch streak. At that time I had 3 streams up and only two out of the three got counted. Is there a restriction on how many streams we could be viewing when counting watch streaks? This happened about 2 months ago.

4. Human support

   I am sorry to report that Twitch Support is quite non-existent. The 'live chat' feature via the help page is fully AI, the 'bot' transfers you to an 'agent', it's AI

   I put in a ticket nearly 2 days ago via Twitch Partner help tickets, no reply. This is not good enough!

   I stream for a living, I had a multi-accounting troll with new accounts have the ability to spam report me and get me banned by AI. My appeal was successful but then still resulted in me not having access to Twitch chat/streaming for 48hrs, this is NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

6. gifs

   Fix the ongoing issue with GIFs in chats. I've spoken with customer support multiple times and they don't care or want to fix anything. Sometimes a GIF works and others it doesn't at all. Again, don't roll out new updates that are broken. Everyone is irritated with this issue and it is across all platforms (PC, mobile, etc). Please make sure stuff is working properly before rolling out new updates. This bug of selective GIFs only being sent is doing nothing but frustrate and enrage the consumers. Please fix your bugs as soon as you can.

   <3 Give Creators Historical Gifter Data <3

   The Problem:
   Currently, Twitch’s Creator Dashboard is built for an accountant, not a creator who wants to appreciate their subscribers and top gifters. While I can see exactly how much money I made on a specific day via the "Revenue" tab, and i can export my sub fata and read over it in Libre office.

   I cannot see a simple list of the human beings who made those gifts once the live stream ends. The "Top 3" leaderboard in chat is fleeting, and historical data for the Day, week and month is just not enough.

   Why this is "Cold and Forgetful":
   As a smaller creator, my community members aren't just "numbers" or "transactions." They are the reason I can keep my stream running. I use monthly "Art Rewards" (like custom YCH pieces) to thank my top supporters, but Twitch makes it nearly impossible to tally these rewards at the end of the month without using third-party bots (like StreamElements) to do Twitch's job for them.

   What We Need:

   A "Supporter Ledger": A simple, filterable list in the dashboard where I can select a date range by month (e.g., "January") and see a ranked list of gifters by name and quantity of gifted subs, top cheerers, etc.

   The Bottom Line:
   Gifter's are real people. They are the backbone of this platform. Treating their contributions as mere data points in a revenue graph is a bit wild. We need tools that help us see and thank our people, not just count their money.

8. Recycle Former Partner Usernames After a Reasonable Holding Period

   Twitch’s current username policy states that when a Partner changes their username, their previous username will never be made available to anyone else. This means that every username a Partner has used can remain permanently locked, even if it has not been associated with their active channel for several years.

   I understand giving Partners additional support and protecting their established branding. However, permanently removing every previous Partner username from circulation feels excessive and unfair to the rest of the community.

   A Partner could potentially change names multiple times throughout their career, leaving several desirable usernames permanently inaccessible. Those names are no longer being actively used, yet smaller creators and longtime Twitch users are never given an opportunity to claim them through the normal first-come, first-served system.

   This creates an uneven system where Partners not only receive additional assistance obtaining usernames, but can also permanently lock every name they previously held. Twitch’s Partner program currently includes special username-change and username-revert assistance, so Partners already have protections and benefits that ordinary users do not receive.

   I am not suggesting that a former Partner username should become available immediately. Twitch could instead introduce a fair holding period, such as:

   • Preserve the former username for two or three years after the Partner changes it.
   • Allow the Partner to reclaim it during that period.
   • Notify the Partner before the name is released.
   • Continue permanently protecting names where there is a genuine impersonation, safety, trademark, or fraud concern.
   • After the holding period, return unused names to the public pool through the normal self-service system.

   Another option would be to permanently protect only a Partner’s original or most recognizable username, rather than every username the account has ever used.

   This would still protect established creators from impersonation and accidental loss while preventing potentially dozens of unused names from being locked forever. Twitch usernames are limited, and many clean names already belong to inactive, deleted, suspended, reserved, or former Partner accounts.

   The current policy does not seem proportional when a Partner briefly holds a username, changes away from it, and that name then remains unavailable forever despite no longer being connected to the creator’s public identity.

   Please reconsider the permanent exclusion of all former Partner usernames and replace it with a long but finite protection period. This would create a fairer balance between protecting Partners and giving the broader Twitch community a reasonable opportunity to claim genuinely abandoned usernames.

9. Extending the use of commands to give users roles.

   Twitch should add a command to give roles like editor and artist. For example /artist gives a user the artist badge, and /editor gives a user editor permissions. And you may ask why? I believe as a streamer it would be way more convenient if i want to add a user then i can use the command instead of working through roles manager. It would save much more time!

    I'd like to share some feedback regarding Twitch's new GIF feature for Tier 2 and Tier 3 subscribers.

    First, the GIF library provided by the current platform feels very limited and outdated, with a poor selection of GIFs compared to other popular GIF websites. It would be great to see an integration with a more comprehensive and widely used GIF library, offering a much broader variety of content.

    Second, and perhaps more importantly, a large number of GIFs simply don't work when users try to send them in chat. This makes the feature frustrating to use and significantly limits its usefulness.

    The feature has a lot of potential, especially as an additional benefit for Tier 2 and Tier 3 subscribers, but the GIF selection and reliability need significant improvement to make it worthwhile.

    I hope Twitch considers improving the GIF provider and fixing the issues that prevent GIFs from working properly. Thank you for your time and for continuing to improve the platform!

11. Remove option to gift subs anonymously

    While in theory and in practice the thought was a good idea initially and for a period of time following the release of the feature it has become a liability for streamer's payout.

    If someone that the streamer know's (or doesn't) comes in gifting a substantial number of subs over a period of time before disputing it with their payment method because they had a falling out or are complete dikwads the streamer has no recourse for the negative payout they'll be set at (Assuming it isn't less than their current payout balance).

    If someone is financially punishing someone for malicious reasons then the streamer should be able to permanently remove said user from doing it to them.

12. Mod University

    First, let’s address the elephant in the room:
    Yes, streamers make their own rules.
    Yes, every community is different.
    Yes, what one streamer and their mod team allow, another may not.

    Now, with that established, Twitch has Streamer University to help streamers improve. Why not a Mod University?

    Twitch’s Terms of Service (ToS) and Community Guidelines (CGs) supersede streamer preferences. Period. As moderators and stewards of our communities, we should recognize violations immediately, even when our streamer may not. That is why Mod University makes sense.

    Like Streamer University, moderators could apply for selection and attend a program led by actual Twitch staff and experienced official moderators. Training would cover interpreting the ToS and CGs, handling difficult situations, exercising sound judgment, and improving our ability to protect communities. Graduates could then share that knowledge with fellow moderators and their streamers.

    This is NOT about telling streamers or fellow moderators what to do. It is about improving ourselves, protecting our communities, and giving our advice greater credibility. Imagine returning with a graduation certificate or exclusive badge (kidding, we don't need another badge!). We would gain no extra authority, privileges, or powers. It would just be better training and knowledge that could make us among the most capable moderators on our teams.

    Partners: A trained moderator strengthens community safety and reinforces the professionalism they have worked hard to establish.

    Affiliates: New and growing streamers gain a knowledgeable moderator who can help them build safer, better-managed communities. Let's be honest: anyone can become a moderator, but not everyone is suited for the responsibility.

    Mod University would benefit everyone: Twitch, streamers, moderators, and the communities we serve.

13. Stop requiring phone verification to change alerts

    There has been a bug where twitch wont send out a phone verification number and so when someone wants to set up alerts and such, without phone verification, they can't. I've personally been trying for DAYS to get them to send me verification and nothing has come through while other apps have no issue.

14. Twitch could improve channel discovery by introducing optional daily, weekly, and monthly viewer challenges with platform-wide rewards.

    The goal would be to encourage viewers to discover new communities while rewarding meaningful engagement across the platform.

    Examples of challenges:

    • Watch a newly discovered channel for 1 hour
    • Follow a new channel during the challenge period
    • Send messages in a channel you have never chatted in before
    • Redeem a channel point reward in a new community
    • Return to a channel you recently followed
    • Watch streams from multiple categories
    • Support a creator through a subscription or gift subscription

    Possible rewards:

    • Exclusive Twitch badges
    • Bonus channel points
    • Special chat identity customizations
    • Profile cosmetics or collectible achievement badges
    • Temporary Twitch Turbo discounts
    • Free Twitch Turbo trial periods
    • Discounts on subscriptions or gift subscriptions

15. Option to reset or remove Channel Points for unfollowed or specific users

    As a streamer, I would love to have a feature to reset or manage Channel Points for specific users, especially when they unfollow the channel.Currently, when a viewer unfollows, they keep all their earned Channel Points. If they return later, they can instantly redeem expensive rewards, which can sometimes be used to disrupt the stream or bypass the community structure. 16. Please fix the twitch mobile app

    When I enter a livestream, half of my messages full on disappear, my badges randomly appear/disappear, my emotes don’t load half the time and when I send a message in chat, it closes my keyboard so I have to click on the field to bring it up again in case I want to send another one. Minimizing the stream (swiping down on it so it goes into PiP mode) is extremely unfluid, just like the rest of the app after the newest update, constant popups almost everytime I open the app asking me for my data etc. No one likes your app in its current state so please read every complaint and take action. Love you.

    i wish your payouts would count so long as you reach the treshhold before the 12th, what is the point of doing calculations on the 12th if everything between the 1st and 11th only count for the next month over? maybe either change the date of the calculations OR allow us our payouts so long as the treshhold is met before the 12th

18. Block "Suggested Streamers" Inclusion

    We already have multiple options to prevent interactions that we don't want such as blocking receiving gifts on channels we don't follow, prevent incoming raids, disable emote attribution, and so on, I would like to request an option to prevent other streamers from adding you to their "Suggested Streamers" shelf, there may be many reasons to want that, and regardless of what it is this should already be a feature.

    Can we get a tool to remove our data from specific third-party websites one at a time? Right now, if I don't want some random tracker, stats site, or fan site scraping my info, it’s really hard to protect our privacy. We should have the right to choose who sees our data and who doesn't. We need a setting in "Security and Privacy" to remove data by typing in the name of the site to request data removal, forcing them to stop showing that user's data on the requested site. 20. AI Streamers & The Use Of AI In Streams Needs To Be Banned

    I personally just can't stand that Twitch allows AI streamer's to stream on Twitch, when they will literally never break the rules, unless they glitch or unless the TOS gets changed & they somehow weren't updated for that. What makes it worse, is that it's extremely frustrating to not only face every day & see it only get worse on every platform, but no amount of reporting or complaining about it, changes anything. These companies treat it, as if they are people & other real people, are just flat out discriminating against them for existing. They are AI bots... you can't claim bigotry, if the "person" isn't even real, imo. Then, you try to self advocate to try & see if you can maybe influence the problem to make things better. So you try interacting with it, playing nice, talking to it as if they were anyone else, be that nice or mean & just see what happens. Half the time, they just want to be your friend if you're nice to them or they just try to encourage you to be less of a troll. That still, doesn't change anything. So then you try and do some more research on your own and go to other platforms like Google or Bing or any other search web browsers to see what they can help you with. But the results are usually very unsatisfactory because all you're gaining in return is a barely a refresher on the information that you already knew. Sorry, you can't do much about that. Sorry, there's no way to change anything. Sorry that the world doesn't work in your favor because the world doesn't revolve around one singular person, unless you're Trump, but that's debatable. So you gain nothing from it, just a simple that sounds frustrating, in whatever way that they worded it. And again, it doesn't change anything. So the problem continues and people, even though they're tired of it, and again, you ask any person and nine times out of 10 they tell you that they don't understand it and they wish that it didn't exist, regardless of what any side has to say about it. There is literally no divide line. It's either get used to AI being a thing or it sucks and we wish that it was used in a different way than how people have been using it. And with the streaming thing, every person is like, it sucks. We hate it when websites are riddled with AI and everything is taken over by AI, regardless of if you use the features or not. It is forced down your throats. You can't do anything about it and these algorithms just push it until it is literally everywhere and you can't escape it, which happens the second that they update something. So it is again, a problem that is yet to be fixed and no person, not even the individuals who made the AIs, has a solution to these issues. It needs to be removed from the platform & outright banned!
