1. Make email verification mandatory

   With the ongoing outbreaks of follow and hate bots "raids", the creation of multiple accounts is simply too easy to abuse on the platform. Creating an account on Twitch does not require an authentic email address before using its services: watching content, following a streamer, sending messages in streamers chats, modifying the account details, etc.

   Many streamers are being harrassed by bots and "IP Grabbers" by:
   - Mass following streamers with inappropriate names and account details;
   - Mass spamming chats with obscene languages and characters (ex: racism, homophobia, transphobia, nazi, etc..);
   - Having extensions on their user profile which allows them to grab the IP Address of Twitch users, and broadcasting them.

   At the moment, when creating an account, you do not need an authentic email address and you are not required to verify the account since there is a function to verify at a later time with "Remind me later" (Example of account creation: https://youtu.be/1waYtIUHkz4)

   My proposition is the following:
   Before using any of Twitch services, the account must be verified by email, and there should not be any way to by-pass this verification process. To sign-up to Twitch, the user should be inserting their email address, in which a one-time registration link could be sent out to.

   Doing this will slow down the creation of fake accounts used to mass follow & mass hate streamers.

2. password requirements

   The password requirements are truly insane for the average user. I shouldn't need a password so secure that it'd take years to *****, I need a password I can remember. This is a streaming site.

   If a streamer wants a super secure password, they can make that themselves, but imposing insane guidelines on people who just want to follow a few people is super annoying.

3. Too easy to register new accounts on here when a user gets blocked

   To easy to register fake emails on here and harass someone defiantly need to not make it easy to create multiple user accounts on here which ultimately will lead to malicious activities.

4. Twitch its time to change signups old and new accounts / bans

   It's 2021 New Era.
   Time for Twitch to get out of its thick skin.
   All Technical Twitch issues, some 99% of which arise from BOTS accounts.
   This is a FAQ last days BOT attacks. and suspect Ddoss.

   Twitch management Its Thick headlines Don't leave any suggestion through their thick skin. and deny well-meant security to streamers and viewers. to build in.

   Foreword bots.
   - Spam bots.
   - FOllow bots.
   - Hostbots.
   - Scam bots.
   Started last weeks before Christmas. attacks from bots.
   and server problems worldwide on Twitch. and DDos attacks.
   (ddoss I suspect also comes with bots)
   We streamers are **** off

   Two years ago by Email I submitted a proposal to Twitch HQ usa.
   Until now Jan 2021, twitch has done nothing with this. and the problems only increase.
   We strarmers suggested some very good protections.
   For new Accounts and existing accounts.

   1- Max three accounts per user language.
   2- Name, address, zip code, ect and telephone number required.
   3- Passport or driver's license must be over 18 years old.
   3A- As soon as this is checked in waiting room open account access. As soon as the authenticity of an account is proof.

   Through Control passport, Driver's license or other legal. That a person is real. and not a bone. ect. Why? Below the following example

   After checking for Viewers as streamers ids.
   Can twitch do more when abused

   • Ban on IP address
   • Ban on Name address ect
   • Ban on thier Computer and mobile phone (SMartphone) software operating system DNA tel DNA code
   • Ban in Thier PC(Computer DNA) Exemple GPU serial nr chip ect CPU chip, Main board dna ect ect.
   • every PC or smartphone have Unique DNA serial numbers and bios and so on.
   • VPN ban

   Why?
   Why work like this?
   Ban on only E mail or and Ip is insufficient.
   You create new free Email or VPN ip ect.

   It only helps to banish like more game makers already do.
   on everything ips and well known vpn ips, besides pc bios chip, cpu / gpu chip ect.

   Now it becomes a very expensive joke for scamers, bots, Trolls ;-)
   they can buy new tel or pc laptop, ipad ect. haha.
   If they think they are screwing up other streamers and their viewers, this becomes very expensive.

   Ban on everything you can from IP to control system and CHIPS DNA IDs, including thier name, address, IDs.

   just look after account numbers, How many accounts there are. what's the use of FAKE accounts. by viewers to increase a streamer Followers numbers ??? A streamer wants real people in chat and as a follower FAQ I mean the serious streamers they want to see through an honest followers FAQ.

   Twitch can ban perma ban on IP / EMail.
   This has little effect, they create vein Email address and vpn ip.
   and spam, bones scam again.

   Twitch needs to get out of its thick skin and bless Enough is Enough. We let our streamers and viewers break their day. But we at Twitch also mess up our servers bandwidth due to trolls bots, scam bots, follow bots, hostbots ect. fake accounts.
   Ultimate Protection 2021 and beyond Is more important than ever.
   Twitch can secure a lot more than they do. Kixeye game bans on everything above mentioned. DNA gpu / cpu ect. Why not Twitch?

   Twitch underestimates the problem.
   Twitch Underestimated Serious streamers have the power.
   No streamers No Twitch. We streamers spend so much money on Twitch from subs bits ect. 50% That they build in good security control system and ban system.

   What can you do as a streamer?
   - all on the same side against Twitch
   - vote on our proposed new ban system
   - New account registration.
   - Old existing accounts confirmations
   - Not active accounts can be removed for up to 24 months or invisible.
   - Ban channels can no longer look after a streamer.
   For example if facebook / Instagram / Twitter already do.
   They no longer see a streamer's contact, as if the account no longer exists.
   Streamers continue to progress hand in hand for better collaboration and protections.

   Streamers and viewers partnered with Twitch to create fair and fun-filled streams. But knowing Twitch, they don't do anything about it like they have for years. Yes BAN they don't see your chat anymore. thats all

7. Personal Verification & Account Approval

   This may require a bigger team of course to implement, but I just signed up for a freelance website and the sign up process, is actually an application to use this site. I was required to verify my identity via uploading a photo of my ID AND a verifying statement such as a paystub, utility bill, etc. And also address verification (or at least a mailing/billing address) which should be added to the account anyways since payment information is stored for subscriptions.

   I know that twitch has a younger population so that may not work, but it may also be a better way to minimize hate content if people know that usernames WILL be linked to verified personable accounts. That information can then be stored only for account verification purposes so no one can create an account using the same ID twice. If an account is voluntarily deleted, they must wait 60 days to sign up again using the same ID. And banned account cannot create other accounts using the same address as banned account or ID.

   Just an idea to deal with hate raids and being able to identify culprits. It may take down viewership or the creation of new accounts essentially, but I do believe this will make Twitch a safer place.

   For existing accounts, give them x amount of days to comply with the new requirements prior to accounts being forcefully suspended or deleted.

   A workaround will have to be established for minors or Twitch may have to have a parental feature or an age restriction verified by ID.

8. Verify someone owns the email address they sign up with, before creating the account

   I currently get regular spam from this site as people sign up using my email address, and I have to delete the accounts myself.

   It would be better (and standard practice) to force the email verification to be a mandatory part of account creation.

9. Better Way to Create New Acount

   Create a better way for old people using the app or have a human suport to help new users on how to create a new account. I have did a tutorial it my self that can be accessed here http://djrudphd.com.br/entrartwitch/ but I gess that is not enough . I guess a that a phone number should be get automaticaly when on a form starts to be filled and after it be sent, Twitch could sent login infos in an SMS with login infos or a button or a link to do the first login where user can fill other options like user name and passaword like WhatsAPP used to do

10. Digital Identity in Italy (SPID) - Can solve insults and threats

    In Italy they have created a Public Digital Identity System (SPID), for any request within the city or province you must have this Digital Identity.

    Twitch's problem, I would say the biggest, are threats and insults, a very important solution is the BAN but it's not enough!

    We must note that there is too much chaos on the web!

    By applying the SPID system at least in Italy, Twich "Beta" could test this reality and then maybe expand it in Europe and maybe even around the world!

    With digital identity we will no longer have insults, threats of any kind!
    I often read comments in the chat of racist, sexist, homophobic type, with this identity putting the face to the comment we will have much less problems.

11. TWITCH RPG Sign Up issue

    TWITCH RPG Sign Up in Taiwan ask for enter lastname for least two character, even for Chinese. But most of Chinese user do have only one Character in their lastname.
    Please fix that.
