Too easy to register new accounts on here when a user gets blocked
To easy to register fake emails on here and harass someone defiantly need to not make it easy to create multiple user accounts on here which ultimately will lead to malicious activities.

I really think that twitch should implement a phone verification process, especially for new accounts. A phone number can only be tied to one account. This will prevent from users continue to being able to harass streamers through the use of fake accounts, follow bots, etc. Please consider this idea as people are still able to follow bot, spam the chat with awful comments, etc through the use of VPN's and 3rd party software. Thanks!

This is definitely a must do solution for people who create multiple accounts not just to harass streamers but also joining in raffles with multiple accounts just to increase chances of winning. It's not fair plus it's taking advantage of streamers who are trying to celebrate and be generous.

Hello my user CrashNOX has been banned, another user created a clip in which he came into my game lobby and said racist things. I reported the clip to Twitch myself (because I wanted to be helpful to Twitch) well at the same moment I quasi blocked myself? I mean I could have deleted the clip, too, but I thought I'd report the clip first and then delete it. Why is it so easy that I lock myself even though I meant it well? -

I think there is a problem that I can make a lot of Twitch IDs while watching Twitch for two years. If there are streamers who don't like it, they keep making IDs and do many bad things such as swearing and sexual remarks harassment, and this behavior makes many streamers struggle and bad things happen. If you can make one ID each by using a method to verify yourself, such as a cell phone authentication, this will be less likely to happen. I'd appreciate it if you could add it as soon as possible.

The inability to limit account creation and spam is the price of existing on the internet. It's just the way things work. It isn't much more difficult to create infinite phone numbers that can be checked for SMS than it is to generate infinite email addresses. There are literally free services where you can get a phone number in any state in the country and use it for SMS authentication. Preventing multiple accounts for one phone number would negatively impact people who have reasonable purposes for doing so while not actually preventing untoward people from doing anything.

Phone verification does sound like a good option.

Right now people can create several accounts with just a new e-mail address (or delete an old account and create a new one). People that are harassing streamers usually does this, and it's unacceptable.
Twitch needs to do something about this, because it's gone too far. Bind accounts with a mobile number and let the owner change his/her name Once, because the name we chose 2 years ago might not be suitable today.
When a user register a new account on Twitch, they need to verify their identity with their phone number (for example sending a code via SMS that they need to enter to verify). And of course people can't just delete their account and create another one with the same number, it's locked to that specific username.
This will drastically reduce the harassment and bullying on Twitch.
