I keep adblocking the notifications, yet every few months a new one slips through. I understand marketing types can't comprehend human interactions they can't reduce to a quantifiable number, but this has to stop.

You don’t need to gamify stuff that I engage in for entertainment. The notifications are hugely annoying.

Honestly just let them actually be configurable per channel.
I don't mind the notifications, but it seems random when I do actually get a streak breaking notification. I wouldn't mind getting them for certain channels *every* time I miss a stream, and don't care about them for other channels.

They are very annoying to viewers. I see two such notifs now. One in green and one in purple. This does not drive revenue to streamers as it makes people not want to watch streams or go to another platform. Every single streams we watch and we get this spam we never asked for. It distracts from the stream content as another ad when we already pay for Turbo. Either remove the feature or give viewers the option whether it is on. It should not be forced on all users.

Yeah these need to go, I'm getting them from 3 different sources now, it's quite obnoxious, and quite obviously playing on peoples anxiety

Turn them off. Get rid of the feature, frankly. Weaponized FOMO that preys on addictive behaviors. Shame.

1000% this. I’m tempted to turn off all notifications because of it. The only way to stop getting them is if every streamer you watch turns them off for their channel. This sucks.

This is monetizing fomo, disgusting

Also viewers are now opting out of the go live notification for channels because they hope that that will disable it.
A great way to lower the reach and viewer numbers.
Please make a specific toggle to disable any and all messages related to the watch streaks

You can see the notification item shows group "Recommended Live", but turning off this notification group does not stop the spam. This is super annoying.

My current solution to prevent spam from these notifications is to disable all channels notifications. Which is obviously not ideal, and probably a net loss for Twitch.

Hopefully they will add some granularity to the settings to disable the streak notifications.

This is needed yesterday. Watch streaks clog up notification feeds, have no "cooldown" and cannot be turned off at all. It's spam, plain and simple.

+1

watch-streak notifications are not adhering to any rules, so im getting notifications pushed to my mobile when any streamer ive watched recently goes live. i might have to disable all mobile notifications until this is fixed

Noticed this too, please add a setting for this.
