1. Do not go through with implimenting "Facial age estimation technology"

   According to a post by Zach Bussey, Twitch is planning on implementing "facial age estimation technology" to ensure that the account's user is of the age they claim to be. There are many reasons to go against this, like security of the pictures or videos used, preventing false claims like people claiming to be a famous celebrity to evade age regulations, amongst others, but for me personally it's the limitations of these algorithmic based systems on people like me who look much younger than my written age. I'm in my late 20s but a few months ago when picking up something for a client, I was questioned if I was even old enough to drive. In a previous instance, I was struck with a temporary ban on TikTok because they assumed someone under the age of 13 was livestreaming when it was just me in a onesie in my early to mid 20s. It's partly why I switched to Twitch and use a vtuber model in the first place - to reduce the chances of bans for trying to stream because people misconstrue my appearance as younger than I actually am.

   As I mentioned earlier, another concern is storing data of our faces. If a data leak happens again, there is now a face with the account information (in theory). If the streamer or chatter never showed their face on Twitch, using this form of age verification becomes a liability for them. It's even more important for vtubers who limit exposure of their physical appearance, or for those trying to evade stalkers, abusers, or domestic violence. It takes one malicious person to take a data leak of that high a significance to make it seriously dangerous for those using the platform.

   My other point is that people might try to evade the system by using another person's face for age verification. We've already seen this happen in other platforms like YouTube where people tried to get around picture based age verification by using either video game characters or pictures of famous people. This undermines the actual purpose of the age verification method (ensuring minors do not interact with adult content). Some adults might do this because they don't want to have their face be used for age verification, and so will kids who think they are mature enough to be a part of the adult club. Because of this, some platforms have gone and done more extreme measures of ensuring age regulations are met, like YouTube's use of AI monitoring of watched content. With Twitch's set up, that extreme measure would be hard to implement, so you'll probably have to prune anyone using video game characters, famous people, or stock photo people as means to bypass the "facial age estimation technology" limitations. That brings up the issue of actual famous people or the actors/actresses that do stream on Twitch who would use their actual face for verification. You'd have to do additional monitoring/moderation to ensure that you are only pruning those that are using someone else's face, which adds more work to the moderation or security teams. It'll be more work overall to use this system.

   I hope these points help to illustrate the issues this technology might cause. Please reconsider the usage of "facial age estimation technology" to guess a person's age.

2. Verificado/ Visto, como o streamer, para o Moderador do Streamer

   Que tal o verificado/ visto, como têm alguns streamers, para também o Moderador? Por exemplo, eu, e como também muitos outros moderadores, acho que também já mereciam alguma atenção ou merecimento. Fui moderador, e ainda alguns mantém-se, de vários streamers portugueses como, o MoveMind, TioTino, QuinnyRP, loud_sirmota...e mais os outros streamers como, o GuitarTuga, e outros mais que já não estão ativos. Os moderadores, como eu, também ajudaram muito, não parece nada mas ajudam bastante os streamers. Fica aqui uma ideia. Tudo de bom para vocês. Abraço.

3. "Guest Appearance" Notifications for Streamer Collaborations

   Issue: A guest streamer is on host streamer's channel without going live themselves, there is no way for guest's community to know about this collaboration.

   Individuals that have notification on for guest are very much interested in going to host channel if it means they get to see their streamer and community member. Often to navigate this issue , guest go live themselves and screenshare the host stream. This is a hassle to set up and waste of resources to do essentially a rerun, leading to a lot of streamers to just not bother with it.

   This is a big loss in potential viewer retention, and loss on possibility of viewers getting more involved in other twitch community. This also allows streamers to easily collaborate without much setup.

   Solution: A guest appearance ping should be added by default on the "all" notification. Disabling is possible in advance settings.

   When a guest appearance is going on, the host stream should appear on the follow channel tab/side bar as if the guest streamer went live.

   For streamer to be a guest appearance, they would need to
   - not be streaming themselves
   - have login to their and host's account, where they can verify the guest appearance by either qr code or something.

   I want to display names be slightly smaller in the mobile version of twitch on Android also I want see a text font in stream chats along with the have the stream streaks showing up next to stream category and show the day the account was created, and the gif's take up to much space in the chat please fix this for mobile users

6. Ajouter un véritable éditeur de clips Twitch

   L'outil de création de clips actuellement proposé par Twitch permet de sélectionner facilement un extrait, mais ses fonctionnalités s'arrêtent là. Les créateurs sont rapidement confrontés à ses limites et doivent se tourner vers des solutions externes pour tout travail de personnalisation. L'idée d'intégrer un véritable éditeur directement sur la plateforme mérite donc toute notre attention. Cela éviterait aux streamers de jongler entre différents logiciels et simplifierait considérablement leur processus créatif.

   Voici un aperçu des possibilités qui pourraient être envisagées :

   • Ajouter des transitions et des effets visuels pour dynamiser les enchaînements.
   • Moduler la vitesse de lecture : ralenti, accélération, arrêt sur image.
   • Insérer du texte entièrement personnalisable (police, couleur, animation, positionnement).
   • Générer automatiquement des sous-titres, avec la possibilité de les ajuster manuellement pour plus de précision.
   • Intégrer des emojis, des stickers et des animations pour donner du relief aux clips.
   • Manipuler l'image grâce au zoom, au recadrage et aux mouvements de caméra.
   • Accéder à une bibliothèque de musiques et de sons libres de droits.
   • Exporter dans plusieurs formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) afin de faciliter la diffusion sur TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels et autres plateformes.
   • Sauvegarder un projet en cours pour le reprendre plus tard avant de le publier.

   Mais pourquoi une telle évolution serait-elle bénéfique ?

   Dans la pratique, de nombreux créateurs se tournent aujourd'hui vers des outils comme CapCut, DaVinci Resolve ou Adobe Premiere Pro, ne serait-ce que pour effectuer des ajustements relativement simples. En proposant un éditeur intégré, Twitch leur offrirait la possibilité de gagner un temps précieux et de centraliser toutes leurs opérations sur une seule plateforme.

   Les retombées positives seraient multiples :

   • encourager une production de clips plus soignée et plus attrayante ;
   • rendre les techniques de montage accessibles aux créateurs qui débutent ;
   • accroître la présence des contenus Twitch sur les réseaux sociaux ;
   • et, plus globalement, offrir aux créateurs une expérience plus fluide et plus agréable.

   En définitive, l'ajout d'un éditeur moderne et complet permettrait à Twitch de s'imposer comme une plateforme de création à part entière, bien au-delà du simple hébergement de streams. Une avancée qui profiterait à toute la communauté des créateurs.

8. Version 29.9.1_BETA Mobile App For Android.

   The new update is pretty buggy and I miss the Audio Only feature. It was handy for lurks. Now when I back out with the pop-out player and go back into chat, the livestream is stretched to full screen for a sec before it gets to the chat. The new interface is a little hard to tap to select options, too.

   Also, whenever I go to select the highlights feature on my channel on the mobile app, it goes to past broadcasts instead. It's been like that for a while and it would just be nice to have access to older highlights than just the recent ones or only being able to search the recent ones site wide with the search bar.

9. Allow whispers from strangers that I've already messaged indefinitely

   Right now we have two options: allow whispers from everyone or block them for strangers.
   If we message a stranger, they have a 48 hours window to answer, after that they're blocked again
   Can we remove this time limit? It seems arbitrary. There's still the ability to manually revoke the permission, if needed

10. Fix the "Verified Accounts Only Chat" on every channel issue

    "Verified Accounts Only Chat" was inexplicably applied to every other channel for me, except for those I'm VIP in; in those, any attempt to use the chat results in a prompt popping requiring phone verification, which as far as I'm aware should not be happening for VIPs.

    My most likely guess for why this is happening is that my account was accidentally flagged by some anti-botting measure that doesn't appear in the Appeals Portal (the page says I don't have any enforcements applied on my account).

    I do not have a phone to do that kind of verification, and most of my attempts of explaining that to Twitch Support are responded with ignorantly suggesting I use a phone number.

    I was only just now recommended to submit feedback here on UserVoice; hopefully I can get an actual transparent response as to how this problem came about and how to fix it as well.

    I watched World of Tanks-related channels for two hours today, yet my AMD OLS drop progress is only at 7%. How am I supposed to get OLS drops if you don't give them to me? Last time, I watched for over three hours and didn't get a drop. It's very poor. I am disappointed.

    i was just involved in a dispute, in Twitch Moderators Club, which i might lose because of popular culture. i said, "i have a feeling that i know what's about to be said to me, and i have one question [for now]: ..." which indicates both that i am already actively listening to the person who is typing and that i am willing to hear what they are about to post. popular culture thinks a different way, so i am currently made out to be condescending and cruel. i would like to be welcome to defend myself, not to be gossiped about amongst however many on that club's Moderation Team then Banned because it's decided that there is no defense for my wrongly perceived behaviour.

    to be fair, i could have presented the certain question a different way--and that post might have not sparked the cascade.

    on the other hand, the other two people involved in the dispute had superimposed a pre-drawn narrative onto any given thing that i had said or might have said--and it is that narrative which upset them and prompted them to approach me with hostility. {if the narrative was exposed in no other way} one of them tried to quote me and they failed to, except that they are convinced that they quoted me spot-on.

    {... and i don't understand why i was timed out for dropping a "salute" reaction, and the other major person in the dispute was not timed out for also posting about the dispute beyond when we were asked to stop [unless the expression of double-standard indicates that it has already been decided that i'll be Banned, and the review process is only formality]}.

13. Stop the automatic clip 2 seconds earlier so "Twitch clip it" isn't in the clip.

    As the title says. When you say Twitch, Clip it, a clip is created. However, it also has the words when you say to clip it.

    The issue comes from when you play clips on your stream. Because "Twitch Clip it" is in the clip you end up with a clip of that clip, and so on and so on.

    By ending the recording a few seconds earlier we can avoid having "Twitch Clip it" being said in the clip.

14. Option to Restrict Channel Point Rewards to Subscribers and/or VIPs

    Hello Twitch Team,

    Please add a feature that allows streamers to set specific custom Channel Point rewards as exclusive to certain roles.

    Right now, any viewer can redeem almost any custom reward. I would like to have a setting on the "Manage Rewards" page (next to cooldowns and limits) where I can check a box to limit a reward to:

    Subscribers Only

    VIPs Only

    Subscribers and VIPs

    Why this is needed: This would be a great way to provide more value to our most dedicated supporters. It allows us to create special, exclusive rewards (like a specific sound alert, priority in viewer games, or requesting specific content) just for them.

    This gives us a better tool to reward loyalty and makes being a Subscriber or VIP feel even more special.

15. Send a warning email before a partner/staff claim can occur

    I understand Twitch wanting to give inactive usernames to partners (though I think they should release them to general users as well), but there should definitely be some warning notification or reminder sent out to an account owner when it becomes eligible for a partner claim. It seems to be the same 1 year requirement that Twitch had prior to changing their username policy, but there is no documentation suggesting that users log into their account once a year to prevent their name from being transferred since the username policy update in 2024. I do not understand why they don't just state that an account not logged into a year can have its name transferred to a partner instead of "hiding" this behind impersonation/trademarking. It's a very deceiving policy, especially when Twitch claims they no longer "release" inactive usernames. There have been multiple cases (such as with the user /glocc) where an active user has had their username taken away by partner support either by negligence or just them not knowing they were deemed as inactive. A user with an active, paid Turbo subscription (that isn't one of the few lifetime ones that staff get) shouldn't be classified as inactive in the first place. Also there should definitely be some sort of compensation if someone has their username transferred to a partner instead of their case being closed and ignored. A manual name change due to the forced cooldown would be logical.

16. Stop Changing User Set Notifications!!!

    When a user sets a notification, it's what the user wants, LEAVE IT SET THAT WAY, and stop changing the notifications, or using the BS lie about 'streamlining' the services.
    Twitch ONLY EVER DROPS NOTIFICATIONS on ADULT STREAMERS.
    Gamers, or Just Chatting streamers, notification setting never change. But anyone with any Adult related content on their other platforms, the notifications keep getting changed by Twitch.
    STOP IT.
    Users have set the notifications how we want them, Only Twitch is dumb enough to change user settings and force users to have to go and fix them over and over.

17. Feedback on Enforcement Cap

    While I support Twitch's efforts to combat persistent viewbotting and maintain platform integrity, I have deep concerns regarding how the new automated Enforcement Cap affects rapidly growing, legitimate creators.
    Specifically, using the viewer-to-follower ratio as a primary indicator presents a technical paradox. When a small creator goes viral, experiences an external raid, or breaks through to a completely new audience, they naturally experience a massive, sudden influx of viewers who do not yet follow the channel. If the automated system flags this specific behavior too aggressively, it risks falsely penalizing innocent streamers who are simply experiencing organic success.
    The psychological toll of an accidental Enforcement Cap can be devastating to a creator's morale, momentum, and willingness to continue broadcasting.

    While I support Twitch's efforts to combat persistent viewbotting and maintain platform integrity, I have deep concerns regarding how the new automated Enforcement Cap affects rapidly growing, legitimate creators.

18. Enforce stricter rules on Twitch for streamer misconduct

    The Issue
    I've been a victim of inappropriate behavior on Twitch, where a streamer known as PrincessChurro engaged in acts that include threatening users, filing false reports to the FBI's cyber crime center, and even hiring an attorney to pursue criminal charges. She was involved in substance abuse while streaming and used her platform to intimidate viewers, including me. Moreover, she hacked into my personal identifiable information (PII) and exploited it during her streams and other platforms, making claims about knowing everything about me through doxxing.

    Such actions aren't just harmful to individuals but create a toxic environment on Twitch, which is supposed to be a safe platform for gamers, streamers, and audiences to connect and share. It's crucial for Twitch to establish stricter guidelines and swiftly intervene when a streamer engages in behaviors that breach the community standards or violate personal privacy.

    In addition to Twitch enforcing stricter rules, there is a pressing need for a legal framework that punishes such acts severely. I propose legislation that enacts fines up to $325,000, three years imprisonment, and permanent bans from streaming platforms for those found guilty of these malicious activities. This will serve as both punishment and deterrence, fostering a safer online environment.

20. Role: Main Moderator / Lead Moderator

    1. Add a chat command so that the streamer can appoint a moderator through the chat command, and not just in the settings

    2. Add an option so that the lead moderator can use the /raid command in the streamer's chat, so that the lead moderator can also send raids from the streamer's channel.
