2. Raise the mininum age from 13 to 16

   There has been so much infighting about children on the platform and it needs to be addressed. Under the Terms of Service (ToS) The minimum age requirement to view and create an account on Twitch is 13.

   This is becoming problematic on the site as streamers are being told to make their content suitable for an audience they don't cater to, and there has been an increase in trolling streamers.

   It's not a cure-all but I strongly believe that increasing the minimum age requirement from 13 to 16 will help in resolving this. It will (hopefully) signal to parents that the site might not be for their children and make better decisions to looking for/watching content that is more appropriate for a younger audience.

   In addition, I recommend removing accounts that are verified to be under the age of 13 or younger. As I said before: I don't think this is a one-size-fits-all solution, but I think it's a start in the right direction for the platform.

3. changed tearms of service ?

   I just got notified that your tearms of service changed.

   But WHAT exactly changed?? Do you expect me to keep local copys of your (and all the million other everyone wants me to signe at any random webside/service) every time so I can compare old vs. new tearms??

   Sugestion: higlight the changes in bold or bigger font size at the very top of the changed tearms!

   I will not signe the new Tearms of Service as I am no lawer and have no copy of the old one to compare. It is up to YOU to clarify the changes exactly!

5. Make email verification mandatory

   With the ongoing outbreaks of follow and hate bots "raids", the creation of multiple accounts is simply too easy to abuse on the platform. Creating an account on Twitch does not require an authentic email address before using its services: watching content, following a streamer, sending messages in streamers chats, modifying the account details, etc.

   Many streamers are being harrassed by bots and "IP Grabbers" by:
   - Mass following streamers with inappropriate names and account details;
   - Mass spamming chats with obscene languages and characters (ex: racism, homophobia, transphobia, nazi, etc..);
   - Having extensions on their user profile which allows them to grab the IP Address of Twitch users, and broadcasting them.

   At the moment, when creating an account, you do not need an authentic email address and you are not required to verify the account since there is a function to verify at a later time with "Remind me later" (Example of account creation: https://youtu.be/1waYtIUHkz4)

   My proposition is the following:
   Before using any of Twitch services, the account must be verified by email, and there should not be any way to by-pass this verification process. To sign-up to Twitch, the user should be inserting their email address, in which a one-time registration link could be sent out to.

   Doing this will slow down the creation of fake accounts used to mass follow & mass hate streamers.

6. Set email or push notifications when a channel goes live in a specific category, or with specific tags.

   As a viewer, I would like to be able to receive a push notification when any streamer goes live in a certain category, or with certain tags, or both! I love finding new streamers to watch, and this would help me discover more of them.

   Oftentimes, there are less popular games or categories which will have low numbers of viewers, who are very dedicated to that category. If I'm a viewer who loves an older game, I would have no idea that someone new has decided to try that game unless I already followed them (or happened to be browsing the "Discover" page at that exact moment). If I could instead set a custom push notification for myself, that would pull me in to watch when I otherwise might not have.

   I know the Tags system is currently in flux as well, but I'd love if I could set a push notification for when someone goes live with certain tags, too! For example, highly specific tags relating to certain types of speedruns, gameplay formats, accessibility features, or other demographics.

   Ideally, I'd want to set custom push notifications for a Category (without Tags), Category with tags, or Tags without Category!

7. Fixt bitte Twitch auf Opera

   Seit einigen Tagen habe ich ziemlich arge Probleme damit, Twitch über Opera GX zu nutzen.

   • Benachrichtigungen und Flüsternachrichten werden nicht geladen, wenn ich sie mir anzeigen lassen will

   • ich kann keine Clips erstellen, obwohl die Option verfügbar ist (es wird lediglich eine "autoblanc"-Seite aufgerufen

   • das Teilen von Subscribtion-Nachrichten im Livechat ist nicht möglich (die Nachricht kommt nach dem Absenden weder im Chat, noch im Dashboard des Streamers an)

   • der Kauf von Abonnements kann nicht abgeschlossen werden (es lädt und lädt, wird aber nicht fertig... Probleme mit den Zahlungsmitteln sind ausgeschlossen)

   • die Anzeige "Das Cookie-Gespräch" verschwindet nicht mehr ... egal, ob ich die Cookies akzeptiere oder ob ich sie verwalte und speichere

   Ich habe mehrfach versucht, mich neu einzuloggen bzw Twitch neu aufzurufen.
   Doch die Probleme bestehen weiterhin.
   Ich muss jedes Mal auf einen alternativen Internetbrowser zurückgreifen, um diese Schwierigkeiten zu umgehen.
   Das ist sehr nervig und zeitraubend, da Opera GX mein Standardbrowser ist.

8. Merging Twitch accounts.

   Merging Twitch accounts.

   Twitch is quite a young platform. But in the future the number of “dead” channels will increase, the so-called “Internet graveyard” will be formed. I propose, add a function “merge accounts”. Here's how it should work:

10. Time Doesnt Count On Drops

    There has been a time bug on twitch for years. You can sit in a single stream for hours and the time bar not progress. The drop ends and you lose out on the drop cause twitch doesnt count time. Even 24 hours later the time doesnt show up. Support for years has blown this off by saying to wait 24 hours for the time to show up and closes the case without doing anything. Which results in you losing the drop and twitch support being a big joke. Fix drop time.

    unlock my account crowdog69b69t because im not a bot or automated account. something like this should be a simple fix but this platform has allowed troolls to shutdown my account in a moments notice and therre is absolutely no way to rectify the problem. I submited a report and if you expect me to wait 6 months for an appeal when im not a bot you have lost your minds.

    I submitted an appeal for my account (crowdog69b69t) because I was wrongfully accused of being a bot and or a automated account. I'm so frustrated because it took one day to be rejected for a warning that I got back in november, but it's been over a week and I still haven't gotten a response from my appeal for my indefinite suspension. I am victim to a false report and I'm not sure how many people are targeting me. I want my account back immediately. I am most definitely a real streamer and i only use one account to stream. My suspension is the result of poor moderation on this platform.

18. Option to view and manage permissions for connections

    To help users manage security for their accounts: I propose the Settings > Connections page should list the specific Permissions (or OAuth scopes granted) For each account connection.

    And there should be an "Edit" button. Instead of completely revoking a connection: We should have the option to Remove or withold any granted permissions/scopes of a connected app that we want On this menu.

    There should also be some options to block/remove some of the requested permissions on the page at the time when initially authorizing a connection.

    I propose that the Highest-risk permissions which Apps can request be made so that the account owner can Always choose to block some of the requested permissions by an app individually when authorizing apps, and 3rd party app developers are not allowed to know or prevent witholding high-risk permissions, such as:

    1. Send chat messages
    2. Read stream key
    3. Mod/unmod users.
    4. Delete videos/clips
    5. Change automod settings
    6. Send/read whispers

    Many apps don't need these Or don't have to be designed to request these to provide the features people want from those apps, even if there are some features that require one of those permissions.

    Security should take priority over convenience for 3rd party app developers in the case of the most sensitive account permissions.

19. Allow an option to login with SMS or verified email

    Why do I have to use just SMS code login options when I went through the process of verifying my email. I should be able to chose SMS or email verification and if I'm trying to change my SMS code phone number why does it send a code to the phone number I'm trying to change? why not send a email to my already verified email. When I'm trying to disable 2FA why isn't there a option to disable it via email as well? Also if you no longer have your phone number you had when you made the account you cant even activate the authenticator app because it sends a SMS code instead of email. Why is everything going through SMS when your phone is probably the easiest thing to steal these days.
