adding "cybersecurity" as a category on Twitch Adding a "cybersecurity" category on Twitch would be beneficial to the platform and its users for several reasons. First, cybersecurity is becoming an increasingly important issue in our digital world, and there is a growing demand for cybersecurity-related content, education, and resources. By adding a dedicated category for cybersecurity, Twitch can provide a space for creators to share their expertise and insights on cybersecurity, and for viewers to learn about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the field.
Second, a cybersecurity category can help promote online safety and awareness among Twitch's large and diverse community. Cybersecurity threats, such…

See how long a streamer has spent in a category I think it would be great to be able to see how long a streamer has spent streaming in their current category. This would give a browser an idea of whether a streamer might be just starting out with a game, or whether they are well established in that category. Different people look for different things.

I'd like to be able to hide channels with active drops. I think the whole drop system is very abused and unethical. Just a setting where i will no longer see any channel with active drops. The idea is to avoid the fake hype/exploitation, while seeing more of the legit creators.

Change the identical game names or just use one category for both There's a issue regarding some games that have remakes or new releases like: Tomb Raider (1986 and 2013), Corpse Party (2008 and 2021), God of War (2005 and 2018), Teen Titans (2005 and 2006), Donkey Kong Country (1994, 2000 and 2003), the list goes on; so i thought of a solution for this problem, just use one category for the games (like Tomb Raider) or split the categories and add the year they were released [like God of War (2005)], i believe the last option is the best one since it will be more clear to which game/port/edition the category…

Account wide language settings I would like to be able to specify a list of languages that I can speak so that streams presented to me could be pre-filtered to only include those that I can understand.
A setting like this would preferably be account wide and take affect on all devices logged in to that account automatically when the user searches for streams or is browsing categories.
I am aware of the ability to filter streams by language tags but it is currently only possible to filter by a single tag and that tag does not persist when switching category or running another…

Channel Promotion So there are a select number of people that have a lot of people following and watching them as noticed... How about having a popup or banner as there is on the front page of the website or sidebar to check out content from other people to whom use Twitch as they might want more people to watch them. Glad Twitch is still around, my brother working closely with Mark Cuban to whom was the first business to put video and audio streaming on the internet.

More efficient user interface The current default interface forces me to scroll down and use a menu to see my followed and subscribed channels.
These should be the most prominent options rather than jamming a bunch of recommendations in my face first.
The previous version was much more user friendly.

Notifications for followed game I would like to be able to toggle on notifications for when a game I follow goes live with any stream. For lesser known games and especially shorter ones, there aren't many streams and the only way to find them is after the fact through the followed game page to see previous broadcasts. I would like to turn on notifications for a followed game so I can find new streamers playing the games I like even if I don't follow the streamer.

Portuguese (BR) and Portuguese (EU) It would be useful to include separate tags for the two main Portuguese dialects: Português (BR) and Português (EU). There appears to be a lot more Brazilian streamers than European Portuguese on Twitch, but it would help to have separate tags to identify the two.

Allow users to fully block entire categories, even if they're pushed by purple-checkmark streamers. Not everyone likes the same things, but some topics are being treated as if they're ubiquitously enjoyed by absolutely everyone. Each time I encounter a specific topic that's being pushed through the front page, I immediately exit the site. Marketing these streams to me does nothing to improve my opinion of them, and only serves to reduce my opinion of Twitch. Allow me to customize my feed in a way such that I can avoid content that I know that I will never like.

Finding streamers by viewer count I would like to be able to view streams with low or no viewers. Currently I do not know of a way to find a stream to view based on the game they are playing and then the number of current viewers. It seems like the only ones I find have hundreds or thousands of viewers. I find it hard to believe there aren’t people streaming that have no or few viewers

Always have the collapse option on the channel select panel (left) on top Currently on the left panel of streams/following channels/recommended channels scrolling down makes the collapse button scrolls off screen. Keeping the button locked at the top would allow the user to collapse this panel without having to scroll the panel all the way back to the top.

Suggestions: 1: I would personally like to see bottom end streamers noticed more somehow, due to suggestion channels the low end streamers are not noticed until they hit a threshold of a dozen viewers or more when you have to hit the "More Tab" this really doesn't allow new and upcoming streamers to get noticed at all. #2: I'd like something done about Raids their is a growing amount of streamers on Twitch involved in daily "Raid Trains" you are spinning your wheels on the idea of streamers getting noticed more with this type of activity in my oppinion. Streamers are

following Would like to be able to view all Categories my account is Following.
Unable to view all Categories the account is Following. On the webpage, "https://www.twitch.tv/directory/following/games" the page only displays "Live categories" of the Categories(game titles) and does not display the game titles that are not live. To specify it is on the page with the primary heading, "Following" with the secondary sub-heading "Categories" highlighted and a tertiary sub-heading "Live categories". Would have attached a printscreen if the option was available
If there is a way or backdoor way to view all game titles the account is following…

Make it so that I can have a setting so that initial streams that show at the top of the page are from my followed streams. When you go to twitch.tv, you should have a setting that only shows your followed streams at the top of the page.
The ones twitch shows by default are always, without fail, trash. The autoplay feature is also cancer.

Better searching/filtering There is currently no way to see if there are any VODs from people I follow playing a specific game.
On the game page I can see VODs of the game, but there's no way to filter to followed streamers there. Using CTRL+F here is impractical since I have a lot of streamers followed, and there are too many VODs to try to scan through them manually.

Allow sort by spectators or followers numbers in the recommended tab Actually i would like to sort my "recommended" session by the less viewers, i am a person who like small chats, small streamers and give more attention for who is a small streamer than someone who is already big or already have a more "populated" chat.
