How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

  1. Die Hard Trilogy

Please can we have Die Hard Trilogy as one tag? its silly to have all 3 games seperate on Twitch when its clearly one whole game on the ps1, saturn and pc.

Its already on IGDB as one game and needs to the same on Twitch

  4. fade in and out audio of clips

I do reccomend to implement the option to fade in/out the audio of clips.

Music stream´s clips would be easier to cut whilst improving the listeners experience.

Thank you 4 considering to upvote this idea.

  5. Covert Art for games not (allowed) on IGDB

Currently there is no process / documentation / form to update Game Cover art for games not in IGDB. Twitch Categories like Chess, Go, just Chatting, have cover art, but are not on IGDB.

(?) What is the current procedure?

(?) Can the documentation be updated?

  7. IRL Categories Descriptions

When the initial IRL category was split into a dozen categories they were all presented with a description. None of these descriptions are present in any of the IRL categories. It would be helpful to make them available to aid streamers, especially newcomers, in picking the appropriate category for their streams. The descriptions should either contain as many examples as possible for what type of content they can be used or to contain metadata (or tags) to provide suggestions on what category to pick. So, when the streamers search for keywords to set their stream's category, they should be looked…

  9. Thumbnail is stretched when not streaming in 16:9

At the moment the thumbnail of a stream that is not held in 16:9 is stretched and distorted.

I would suggest to but black bars on it or just crop in to fill the gaps instead of distorting the image.

  10. Row of clickable tags on each page

This will make it a lot quicker and easier to use tags. Currently we can only search for them manually which is time consuming and cumbersome. This feature already existed for a while in the Music directory until custom tags were introduced and broke it. There used to be a "Browse by Trending Genres" row at the top of the page. Turn that into a global feature to show on all pages, but for tags instead of genres, and let viewers choose between favorite tags, recently/frequently used tags, and recommended/suggested tags. Should probably avoid showing trending/popular tags just to keep…

  11. Lower res options for non-affiliates

Non-affiliates can only share their default resolution while streaming. (When I started, this was over 1080p.) So putting yourself in the viewer's shoes, if that resolution is quite high (720p or higher) then you virtually cannot watch that streamer on your mobile device. If you tried, you would buffer a lot, get frustrated, and leave. This uniquely negatively impacts non-affiliates. Please add at least one low resolution option for viewers whose setups cannot match the streamer's default.

  13. Estonia crypto license

Hi everyone. Estonia was first in digital business registration, enabling companies to be set up quickly and remotely. This user-friendly mindset is seen in services like online birth registration, checking school grades, and parking payment. In Estonia, a crypto license is a special permit for businesses related to digital assets. I need a license to enhance my buisness in Estonia. If anyone have experience with any website then share with me. Thanks.

  18. Game category missing for ~2 years

Soon after I started streaming SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom (which is still on IGDB), the category was suddenly removed from Twitch, while the rest of the Nicktoons games remain. This happened roughly 2 years ago. I would appreciate if it could be restored.

  20. Add the filters that are in the music section to the just chatting section

Why do I have 4 filter options for the music section, 2 of which I use often, but for the just chatting section I am limited to the least useful 2 of the 4 like what? Whose idea was this? There are also so many people clearly gaming in the just chatting section, and at the bottom of the music section, which is impacting visibility of original content creators in the music section, who are clearly crucial and flourishing in the ecosystem
