Allow nesting of Categories and Sub-categories. Categories as they are are a bother to search through. Looking for Pokémon games? Well, look through all these people that have "pokémon" in their names, then all over these streams that might not be for Pokémon!
Categories nesting with Sub-Categories could change this altogether. Let's say we would want to look for Pokémon games. We'd type "Pokémon", head into the "Pokémon" category and look at all the streamers doing different games. If we want some more precision into the category, different sub-categories like "Mystery Dungeon" or "Main Titles" could work, so on and so forth until you reach the…

Quick follow hotbar on mouse hover I would love to see a 'hotbar' when the mouse hovers over a streamers link in the 'Recommended channels' or '... also watch' areas of the sidebar. It should include a quick option to follow a streamer when you want to maybe check a streamer later on but continue watching the current one. Additional info could include a limited amount of the channel description, and last live or live now information.

Don't recommend channels to me at all. I am tired of ASMR, Fortnite and much more appearing in my recommended channels. I want Twitch to stop recommending stuff altogether.

Remove tags involving mental illness By adding tags involving mental illness Twitch is promoting self diagnosis and the glorification of mental illness. As a medically diagnosed schizophrenic I and others like me have suffered and continue to suffer tremendously from mental illness. By making tags such as schizophrenia available to Twitch streamers you not only open the opportunity for using a debilitating illness as a marketing tool but also encourage individuals to either pretend to be mentally ill, self diagnose themselves as mentally ill, or glorify mental illness in order to benefit from these tags. All of these are tremendously damaging to the mentally ill…

Clearer indication for mature channels. A 18+ symbol placed next to live or the channel name for streams that have been marked as mature by the channel owner.
The current notification for mature channels can be easily overlook, or in case on a shared computer, a user maybe left unaware that the channel they are watching is mature.2 votes -
Have a Code of Conduct for All DJ Channels in the Music Category I've noticed that there are some channels that stream under the Music category on Twitch, especially those who are streaming as music DJs, who don't follow a code of conduct I feel fosters a sense of community in the category that I feel exists within the ASMR community (the only other side of Twitch I'm just as familiar with). Therefore, I would like to see the following regulations instituted for all streamers, particularly music DJs, streaming under the "Music" category:
- You must raid out at least once every four streams. That means if you stream twelve times a month, you…

Make it so you can filter by low to high Video Games (not channels) just like you can filter high to low To get to the low video games you have to browse downward for twenty minutes to half an hour and then by the time you click on a game with just one stream and finish with that one stream to find another one the streamers have often already logged off forcing you to waste another 20 minutes scrolling down to the bottom while it all loads. I just want a way to filter to the lowest viewed video games so I can discover new games and the streamers that love a game.

Add The binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ as a category Afterbirth is an expansion of Rebirth and is on Twitch but Afterbirth+ which is an expansion of Afterbirth isn't on it. Plus, the game is in IGDB. And there will be Repentance (which is an expansion of Afterbirth+) at the end of March. It will be weird to have every expansions on Twitch but not Afterbirth+

Re-add "GTA Online" as a seperate "Grand Theft Auto V" category again in knowledge that a standalone version will be released this year Dear Twitch Team,
currently – we as the GTA: Online players – have the issue of finding others who also play it live on Twitch.
Back in the day, there was a 2nd category called something like "GTA Online" where, for the most part, you could only find streamers playing Grand Theft Auto V's official online mode.
Since this was removed, it's impossible to find others playing it anymore. The entire "Grand Theft Auto V" category is flooded by streamers who are playing on unofficial 3rd party (roleplay) servers.
Therefore, I would like to see a separate category for the…12 votes -

Remove gift sub icon from followed channels sidebar The viewer count has been replaced on the sidebar under followed channels with a gift sub icon whenever you have an active gifted subscription to a channel. Currently the only way to restore the original functionality (viewer count) is to remove all gifted subscriptions that have been received. Please restore the original functionality, make this icon optional, or add a setting to block ALL gift subscriptions so they don't have to be repeatedly removed manually.

Search streamers by their hardware Search streamers by their hardware. Sometimes, especially these days, when we want to buy new hardware like GPU, we search for some reviews, but sometimes the reviews aren't enough and, we want to see how the hardware behaves daily.
So, if I could search for streamers who use a specific GPU it would be great.6 votes -
Create a 'Religions, Faith and Beliefs' category Dear Twitch,
Please can you create a 'Religions, Faith and Beliefs' category?
It would make a huge difference to religious content streamers and those looking to find religious content.
Right now, religious streamers typically stream using the 'Just Chatting' category.
The unfortunate reality is that within this category there are literally hundreds of streams.
This puts them at the bottom of a very long list of more popular stream since the default filter is to have those with the most followers showing first and those with less, further down the page. We only have 11 followers and so for us…

Hey there!
I just wanted to reach out to make sure you were aware that we did actually add a lot of religious tags to Twitch. While this doesn’t solve the whole issue you are bringing up here I wanted to make sure you were aware that we do have some tools already available to help religious communities find one another on the site.
You can look through all our tags here: https://www.twitch.tv/directory/all/tags

Warmachine/Hordes We have a Stream Category for "Warhammer", but why not other miniature figure games? I would be looking for a category for Warmachine & Hordes! We could also use a category for Marvel Crisis Protocol and the other popular miniature figure games!
