Have a Code of Conduct for All DJ Channels in the Music Category
I've noticed that there are some channels that stream under the Music category on Twitch, especially those who are streaming as music DJs, who don't follow a code of conduct I feel fosters a sense of community in the category that I feel exists within the ASMR community (the only other side of Twitch I'm just as familiar with). Therefore, I would like to see the following regulations instituted for all streamers, particularly music DJs, streaming under the "Music" category:
- You must raid out at least once every four streams. That means if you stream twelve times a month, you must be raiding out three of those twelve times.
- You must raid out to at least five different channels, a list of which should be provided to Twitch every month to ensure you're not hitting the same raid target every time, though this should not prevent you from continuing to raid out to the same channel once per week if you're streaming multiple times per week.
- It should be against Twitch policy to block people from mentioning other channels in the chat, and if that could be extended to mandatory shout outs for other streamers who participate in chat that would be even better.
- This is more of a suggestion than anything, but it would be a really great thing if large music DJ streamers could raid small DJ streamers at least once every other raid; this is something I see happening the vast majority of the time on ASMR Twitch and it really helps uplift the entire community, and smaller ASMR streamers have been able to rise up the ranks to Affiliate and then Partner thanks to that kind of support they've been getting from fellow ASMR streamers.
If the kind of support and code of conduct listed above were codified and regulated Twitch policy amongst the music DJ streamers of Twitch, the community would be a much, much healthier and more supportive place.
