Enforce your categories Please enforce your categories for big streamers! Every week, I look for people streaming Pokemon Sword and Shield, and every week, I end up in streams that are streaming different pokemon games. The biggest perpetrator, SmallAnt, even has a command linking to a clip of why he does it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ST5v7-C3iDk . In the clip, he says "basically everyone streams pokemon in this category" so his discoverability is higher, but this hinders the discoverability of people actually playing that game! I report these things everytime I see them, but there is no enforcement. I can't find streamers I am looking for…

Yu-gi-oh! Official Card Game remote duel Category Added This game is a strategic card game that has been loved by many people for more than 20 years.
As specified in the Twitch Category Prohibition game, this game is a clear game that does not represent gambling.
This proves that the original author also limits what he or she can get from the game to the card.
Recently, this game users, who mainly use offline stores due to the COVID-19 issue, have devised a remote duel method of enjoying games remotely at home.
But I found that the category of this game, which is divided into Western, TCG, and…

Twitch Channels Follow list length is too long, it makes it difficult to click the "Show More" cos it's at the bottom of screen As title, after Twitch removed the Friend list, the "Show More" link is now at the bottom of the browser window, so this makes it harder to find and click. There should be a height limit to the follow listing.

Don't include "suggested" channels more than once on the front page A channel that is recommended under "live channels we think you'll like" should not be listed a second time on the same page (ie, under "what's hot" or game related categories).
Channels we already follow shouldn't appear in our recommendations at all. Why should they be there? We already follow them.
These redundancies take up valuable space on the Front Page; they are also a detriment to discoverability.

There should be a way to submit educational apps categories. igdb limit submissions to games, so more gamified educational apps like There should be a way to nominate educational apps as categories. igdb currently only accept "games" so more gamified educational apps like Duolingo can get easily added and become categories, but less gamified apps like Memrise are rejected. The distinction isn't well defined. If igdb won't accept an educational app, could we directly submit it to twitch?

Category for mobile streamers mobile streaming has evolved tremendously since twitch added the ability to stream the screen of your mobile device. The Stream Games option has created a new type of mobile streamer.
the new mobile streamer presents their stream using only their mobile device. From gaming to chat to everything in between, the whole stream is done using a mobile device.
Pioneers have spent the past 6 months streaming from the twitch app in search of the best way to present their show. It’d be nice if a mobile streamer like myself had a place to see how others use the twitch…

Random Stream Button The discovery page lacks a "Play Random" feature. It might be fun and interesting to enter a random stream in a Category. It might help casual and new users find entertaining streams much easily and faster.
The user that clicks on the button will be forwarded to a random stream in the previously chosen category. To find another stream the user will simply click on the same button that will appear on the header of the page.272 votes -
Tags on Browse page's Categories tab don't work Currently, when you type in a tag you want to filter by, it automatically switches you to the Live Channels tab. When you switch back to the Categories tab, it says the tag is still applied, but will show you categories/games that don't have a single stream with that tag, so you click a game and it will then tell you there are no live channels for that game. This means you can't, for example, browse only streams of a particular game tagged with a particular language.
Considering it shows the tag as applied even though it isn't, this seems…1 vote -

Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse Someone removed "Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse" from the categories when creating a new stream.
The closest category that matches this game on Twitch is "Akumajou Densetsu", the Japanese version of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Very few people who play Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse in the US and European markets would refer to the game as Akumajou Densetsu instead. However, there are significant changes in gameplay and music in the Japanese version of Castlevania III that players all over the world have been exposed to and would like to find if they searched for “Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse”.
For this reason,…

Combine all of Puppet Combo games into 1 Category Puppet Combo needs to have his all his games under one category instead of looking up murder house...or whatever, it would be nice to combine all his games into one category, he has like 12 games. This would help streamers and also help get his name out. and on top of that help players find something new from him.

Expand on categories that lead to a second page that sorts the same category by followers Discoverability idea! Expanding on gaming categories that sort as how many followers a channel has presently. So, if someone clicks on a category and leads them to a second page that displays the same category, but sorted by followers and displays how many channels are live. This would get rid of the issue of not being able to find smaller streams and find streams that may be viewbotting or follow botting. You can also find channels that are growing over time. One Category page for one game is convenient, but top, mid, and somewhat below viewer streams will be always…

Crypto Gaming I would recommend creating a new category inherent in the crypto gaming world. There are a lot of people streaming on the wrong category. If it were created it could be called 'Crypto Gaming' where people could stream gameplay and chat about this new game-based trend.
