General "Trading" Category for - Forex, Futures, Indices, Crypto, Stocks, Commodities I would like some Trading Categories to be added. There are already categories like Crypto and Stocks but those don't encompass all the things that can can be traded.
Either you should add all the individuals like Forex, Indices, Futures, commodities etc, or there should be a singular category called "Trading". I am more in favor of just having "Trading" as a category because this could be used for all and would garner the most attention and diversification.

Hello create a Book section,or a library Diversifying Content: By incorporating a book section, the streaming site expands its offerings beyond movies, TV shows, and other audiovisual content. This diversification caters to a wider range of interests and preferences within the community. It acknowledges the importance of literature and provides an additional avenue for intellectual engagement.
Encouraging Reading: In a world dominated by digital media and screens, promoting reading is crucial. Integrating books into a streaming site helps foster a culture of reading and encourages users to explore literary works. It presents an opportunity for individuals who may not typically gravitate towards books to discover the joy…

River City Ransom "River City Ransom" was removed as a category when creating a new stream.
The closest category that matches this game on Twitch is "Downtown Nekketsu Story", the Japanese version of River City Ransom. Very few people who play River City Ransom in the US, Australian, and European markets would refer to the game as Downtown Nekketsu Story. River City Ransom was heavily localized for its NA release, including the removal of one of the three difficulty settings, core narrative change from rival high schools to street gangs, completely rebalanced item costs and enemy rewards, and a graphical redraw of both…

Twitch should not weaponize discovery like they did with the Mountain Dew Exploitathon™ this week. Twitch should not weaponize discovery like they did with the Mountain Dew Exploitathon™ this week.
Telling us we might maybe have a chance at getting on the front page, if we advertise for Mountain Dew™ for hours, is Twitch admitting that not only do they have pretty granular control over discoverability, but that they withhold it from us so they can use our desperation to get a quick check from a soda company.
It erases all the fragile trust you've built with us, it exposes Twitch as a blatantly rigged game, & it undermines all the effort you've put into…

Small Streamer Support Twitch is increasingly seeing success in large, full-time partnered streamers who seem to be growing in mainstream recognition and opportunities, but what is or can Twitch do to help dedicated small streamers get visibility to avoid a YouTube-like situation where it's only for the celebrities.

Bring back the auto-expanding sidebar In July or August, the twitch.com website changed and the "sidebar" (that shows the channels you follow, and suggestions) stopped auto-expanding when you hover over it.
Today, you can only manually cause it to expand out (showing the icon and name of everyone you follow), or you can collapse it (and it just shows icons).
Before, you could collapse it, but then if you hover over the bar anywhere, it would auto-expand out, showing more information and names.
The current layout is much harder to use on my laptop (It also doesn't help that the icon to expand the sidebar…

Add Arab American Heritage Front Page Features Every year twitch celebrates diversity on the platform with AAPI heritage month, Hispanic heritage month, Black history month, woman's history month, pride month, etc.
I as well as other Arab streamers were really looking forward to celebration of Arabs or Muslims this year because Arab American heritage month lined up almost perfectly with Ramadan this year!
I was really hoping to be able to discover other Arab streamers on the platform in April or have at least one of Muslim's only two holidays (Ramadan or Eid) or Arab's heritage month to be recognized and celebrated on Twitch's front page.
I…

Make Boosts Better With Curated Recommendations Twitch has different 'boosting' features available to some streamers, such as channel point boost challenges or the new Boost Train. While great in theory for discoverability, completed boost recommendations right now seem to be sent to completely random users.
This means that recommendations are not always seeking the audience that the streamer is hoping to reach, or is content viewers aren't looking for. For example, when checking my own Front Page for these boosted recommendations, I've mostly been recommended channels streaming in languages I do not speak, or in categories I've never engaged in as a viewer or streamer.

Focus Session: Embrace Focus, Ignite Potential "Focus Session." It's an idea born out of the desire to create a space where we can come together, focus, and thrive. In "Focus Session," we aim to provide a dedicated category for individuals seeking a productive environment for their study and work sessions. It's a place where you can find like-minded individuals who understand the importance of concentration and the challenges of staying on task.
But it doesn't stop there. "Focus Session" is not only a space to focus but also an opportunity to teach and learn. It's a platform where knowledge and experiences are shared, where we can…

Create a LEGO or BrickBuilding category In the days of communities, BrickinNick and I pushed for Twitch to create a community for BrickBuilding. After some back and forth emails, we convinced Twitch that LEGO is a creative medium/form of expression and deserves to be recognized in the Creative category. Hooray!
Currently, tags have replaced communities. Tags created some discoverability but they are misused and often used by streamers playing unrelated games. A dedicated LEGO or BrickBuilding category would help users find more streamers building with LEGO bricks and similar construction kits.
LEGO is too broad of a hobby to lock into the makers and crafting category.…
