Create a LEGO or BrickBuilding category
In the days of communities, BrickinNick and I pushed for Twitch to create a community for BrickBuilding. After some back and forth emails, we convinced Twitch that LEGO is a creative medium/form of expression and deserves to be recognized in the Creative category. Hooray!
Currently, tags have replaced communities. Tags created some discoverability but they are misused and often used by streamers playing unrelated games. A dedicated LEGO or BrickBuilding category would help users find more streamers building with LEGO bricks and similar construction kits.
LEGO is too broad of a hobby to lock into the makers and crafting category. From sets to people building their own creations, visiting conventions, designing their own parts, reviewing sets, and more!
If the title "BrickBuilding" is chosen as a more suitable name for the category, as it is already known for LEGO building on Twitch, we hope it would still be discovered when searching the term "LEGO" as well!
Thanks and happy building!

Wholeheartedly agree, a dedicated brick building category would be a great support to our amazing community.

A brick building category would be amazing! Although it is crafty, brick building is vastly different from the standard things that we use to have. Makers & Crafters is way to broad and people don't want to search endlessly for Lego, Megablocks, or other streams.

Definitely think there should be! Lego is a big thing, and having access to “Brickbuilding” would definitely help some creators get noticed.

I cannot agree enough! In the 2 years I've been part of this community, it's only grown exponentially. Unfortunately, tags are the only somewhat feasible way for discovering new members! A dedicated category will help with visibility! And with the great success of the BrickBuilding panel at TwitchCon, we've shown there's a huge audience out there!

This is needed - it's a large hobby that includes different types of builders. There's a dedicated community that exists both on Twitch and beyond, this would help with their visibility.

I absolutely agree with this, finding people who are building Legos and not just doing arts and crafts is a definite benefit.

You already have tags to identify you as a Lego builder. You are making and crafting. This feels redundant and like you’re attempting to demolish a category that’s already struggling for recognition within Twitch.

A LEGO/Brickbuilding tag or category is absolutely needed.
"Crafting" is too general. -

This needs to be done. With as many other random subjects/games that have become categories, the fact that Brickbuilding/Lego hasn't been officially recognized in that capacity is insane.

Same, more lego streamers should be born with a special category and community on twitch. Channels with the LEGO tag are not "making" LEGO ;
